We are regular at this locations and everything tastes amazing. They are always adding new menu items. We tried the sampler this time and it was very good. The wings, fried shrimp and egg rolls were all very tasty. I tried the smash burger and it was very good but I do like the regular hickory bbq burger better. The triple pickle chicken sandwich was delicious as always. Also the steak and mashed potatoes was also really good. Overall excellent visit with great service with Rubia.

Food was good for breakfast. Came here on a Monday morning at 11am and was seated immediately for a table of 4. For it not being too busy, the server was a little slow to be honest, not sure if that was just me and my experience. Ambiance is great, jukebox diner to the full. So I'd say in summary that this place you come here for the experience more than throw down on the food compared to IHOP or Denny's.

Looks like they broke a salmon piece in half ?

awful, the Hispanic lady at the cash register is always grumpy- not sure if she's a manager or what, she wears an apron... but she is very moody everytime we go for carry out. Anywho, we got dinner to go and the kids meals were Terribly portioned. The teriyaki salmon ($8.99) looked like they were pulld off another piece or they used one slice of salmon and cut it in half. It was super tiny. Kids meals are for ages 12 and younger but this looks like a toddler size !!! my husband was furious and swore we'll never eat there again. We felt very cheated. My father loved the Rueben's and the triple decker clubs. Those were always great but they are getting cheaper and cheaper with the quantity and also quality.

Way overdue review that got pushed aside due to travel and holidays. My husband and I were visiting family over Thanksgiving and visited this location with our Mom. We were getting ready to order when we received a text regarding a refrigerator delivery that was supposed to arrive later that afternoon. Luckily it was close to the diner. First and foremost I want to applaud the staff (our table host Rubia) who graciously excused us as we apologetically left promising to return. We did return and asked for Rubia. My parents were regulars with their friends and when we visited we would frequent but at some point they stopped coming. We all felt that the food wasn't up to par and menu was stagnant at that time. Well we were pleasantly surprised with this recent visit and actually WOW'd with the menu. The farm to table concept (informed that they were procured locally) reminded us of CA where we live. (San Francisco). Not only were the dishes appealing but every single dish that we ordered was delicious and so fresh. Great portions and just fantastic.

Silver Dinner Restaurant is a place I like to frequent constantly. To date my account shows that I logged in 650 times. Recently they came up with a scheme to offer two dinners plus an appetizer for $35.00. When you receive your final bill the description of the bill is so convoluted that only a mathematician can understand... since I like math, I discovered after arguing with the Manager of Silver Dinner in Reston, VA that was a catch to this madness... in the back of the advertisement written in very small letters (HARD TO READ) there was an exception to charge an additional $5 for EACH entry for two of their expensive foods. CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE NOTIFIED OF THIS DISGUSTING SCHEME AND THE BILL MUST CLEARLY REFLECT THAT ADDITIONAL CHARGE INSTEAD OF A CONVOLUTED HIDING OF THIS ADDITIONAL CHARGE. VERY UGLY PRACTICE MR. SILVER DINNER!

But driving by on weekends, and seeing the crowds bursting out the door, we deferred visiting the Vienna Carnegie Diner. Instead, on our first time, we came midday on a weekday and there weren't that many people and we were seated immediately. Overall, service was fine, though a bit in disarray because we had two different servers ask if we were ready to order. We both ordered the very good Chicken Salad sandwich. It's huge and really makes for two meals. It comes with very decent fries and an excellent side salad that has been drizzled with two different tasty dressings. We saw lentil soup on the menu, and if it's like the lentil soup at the Carnegie Diners in NYC, I highly recommend it. We absolutely will be back.

As it appears in a photo in the menu. I did not receive a bowl. I received an espresso sized cup of chili for $15.95. And lots of tortilla chips. In all honesty this appetizer should be called "a plate of tortilla chips with a spritzer of chili on the side. In comparison to our most frequented Ashburn outpost, the interior here feels more cozy and old school rather than bright and modern. Despite a very busy dining and waiting room, the host sat us almost immediately during peak hours at a generously sized booth, a nice touch given we had our infant son in tow. The food here tasted consistent with what we have had at other locations of Ted's. While the food here does not necessarily amaze the palate, it is executed competently and the large menu caters to a variety of tastes with some creative, global touches. My wife always selects the Turkish eggs, which comprise a trio of poached eggs swimming in a garlicky yogurt and topped with piquant chili oil. The dish makes for a light, fresh breakfast with plenty of flavor. I opted for a Sichuan hot chicken sandwich. The cripsy, juicy chicken breast coated in a heavily seasoned chili dunk yielded a surprisingly flavorful bite. Despite the chicken quality, I did not love the sweet American style coleslaw that topped the sandwich nor the limp fries that arrived alongside. Service ran smoothly, as our waitress promptly took our orders, remained available throughout service, and even subbed out my wife's latte for no charge when she found the taste too sweet. Prices here are about $15-20 per entree which is standard for the Town Center and reasonable given portion sizes. Overall, Ted's remains a reliable option for a satisfying and consistent lunch or brunch, and we are glad to have a location so nearby.
