I have not been to silver diner in years ! I am pescatarian and they didn't use to have things I can eat. I randomly looked online about restaurants near me and they said silver diner had vegan items. All the items delivered. They were so delicious. Besides the food being extremely tasty I had the best waiter. Her name was Estefani, if you happen to stop by the silver diner in Ashburn please ask for Estefani ! She was the best ! She consistently checked on us, had excellent customer service, and just provided us with overall great service ! Thanks silver diner ! read more

Went here every week for a BYOB (Build your own burger) greatest darn burger I've ever had. I couldn't be more excited about it every time I went, this is coming from someone who has moved and lived all over the US so I have had my fair share of food. The workers are amazing and always make me feel like a valued customer. They are always clean and ready for their customers it's unbelievable. Sadly I moved once again to Texas and haven't been able to find one but my hearts always at silver diner. It's ranked 1 to me. read more

Excellent service, healthy choices and clean establishment. Frequent changes in menu to reflect the seasons

First time here, and we are so happy this place is open close from us. we've been waiting for so long finally the dream come true. We really enjoyed the food here those lamb meatballs were to die for and the service under mustapha care and professionalism made it fabulous experience. We will definitely come back and we will absolutely ask for mustapha as our waiter we loved it. read more

I love going to the one in One Loudoun for the chicken noodle soup and BLT. The best chicken noodle soup you can get in a restaurant. And, Evelyn is always very kind. read more

The chicken tenders platter was really bad. Chicken looked inexpensive, from a frozen state. Same quality as KFC. Fries tasted stale. Honey mustard was soybean oily tasting. Management fixed the issue quickly. read more

BE AWARE if you are feeling a little SALTY!! My girlfriend and I stopped to have lunch, and she ordered the apple pie French toast. The apples tasted like seasoned potatoes. They were very salty and had Rosemary and pepper on them. Other than the apples being salty the meal was great! read more

This Silver Diner in Ashburn is amazing! Not like what you are used to! Full bar, including mixed drinks, wine, and beer. The staff was great. The food was delicious. I had the meatless tacos. Very pleased. Just watch out for the pickled ginger! Thought the top of my head was coming off‍ but that didn't stop me from eating it. My girlfriend had a breakfast omelet. I had the breakfast omelet a few days later. Outstanding. Definitely enjoyed it the next morning too! The portions are more than generous! We are going back again Thursday. The service was excellent! If you don't want a crowd, go for a late lunch or early dinner! read more

My son says one of the best Nutella shakes he's ever had and they accommodated dairy free! Kudos to the Silver Diner!!

Long wait, staff seemed unorganized and confused. Food was mediocre. Will look for something more original and worth the wait and cost.

Very inconsistent especially for carry out or delivery orders. Just had chicken piccata and it was inedible. Overbearing strange spices, mashed potatoes tasted off, grilled veggies were black, as is toast with the omelette! Hoping the same veg. Not with sandwich. Have you changed cooks? read more

Great experience! Short wait, customer service was wonderful, and most importantly the food was fantastic. The pancakes were fluffy which seems to be rare. I saw the apple pie french toast advertised so I gave it a try. It was a great decision...so good! It tasted as good as it looked. If you're in the area, give them a try. read more

Silver Diner - Diners Near Me - Ashburn, Virginia

Just finished breakfast here and It was very crowded but we were able to be seated in the popular outside section immediately. Steven fixed the wobbly table effectively. Marco, our waiter was extremely attentive and efficient. Even tho most if not all restaurants are understaffed these days, management is doing a great job here! read more

Mazin was a spectacular server. He took my Silver Dinner experience all the way to a Gold Diner experience. He was attentive to my friends and I, making sure we got everything we needed and more. I will become a constant regular at Silver Diner from now on, as I trust that Mazin is a representation of all servers at Silver Diner. read more

I've gone multiple times to the locations in Reston and One Loudoun and every time I go I know the food will be good. I know the place will be busy but the service is good and all the staff are friendly. The vibes are very 50s diner but I love it. Always good to go here. read more

My husband and I were not wowed when tried eating here over a year ago. But we decided to give it another chance Saturday night after watching a movie at One Loudoun. What A Change! The food was really good -- soup and salad with grilled chicken for me and soup/chicken tenders meal for my husband. But it was the service, which had not been good a year ago, that really sealed the deal. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Thank you to our waiter for making our night out comfortable and fun. read more

We came here the other day. the food wasn't great, the service wasn't great either. The waitress brought us the wrong check and then when we said something she didn't even apologize. It seems like they have a lot of new people that have ever waited tables before. but not a great silver diner try the one in Clarendon read more

Love Silver Diner. Efficient, excellent quality, and offers gluten free options. Bethy is a fantastic server.

I am really happy they opened this restaurant so close to my house, we have always enjoyed the other locations. I think this is even the best one I have ever been to. The waitress Mackey was really awesome and knew the menu really well, was extremely helpful. The food was fantastic. We will be coming back again. read more

Haven't been to a Silver Diner in many years. When a new location with an outdoor patio opened near our home, we decided to give it a try for lunch. The service was fine, but the flavor of the food was not good. read more

Excellent food and outstanding service. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. I highly recommend.

Food was meh. Service was meh. Waited for 20-25 minutes for the check. People just letting their children bounce off the walls, not that was the places fault, but it's ok to tell your kids to stop jumping in the booth while screaming. BLT had three pieces of bacon! Seriously? The place was clean enough. First time here and probably the last. Awesome milkshakes. read more

I've been here twice now and they are doing a really great job. The staff is attentive and the food is hot and timely. I struggled to find something on the menu that excited me though. It's fancy food for a diner. I was super excited about a new breakfast place near me, but they don't even have gravy for the biscuits! There needs to be a few more options for "regular" food in my opinion. I appreciate the "flexitarian" menu but it's just a little pretentious. I've tried the Reuben and the steak sandwich. My husband and has gotten 2 different salads. It was ok, not fantastic. It's the staff that get my 5 stars though. The hosts are very friendly and i was lucky to get my favorite server, Blake, twice!! He's so sweet, friendly, outgoing and very attentive. The guy who was bussing the tables was working his behind off! I'm just hoping that they will tweak the menu soon and there will be more options soon. read more

Clean, friendly staff, quick service, food is healthy and fresh. Pretty standard for a Silver Diner. I especially love their cocktail menu and milkshakes. Always delicious!! read more

Great food and great service. So glad the diner has finally made its way out to Ashburn! The Bison Huevos Rancheros is my favorite breakfast. read more

My friends and I met here on a Saturday morning and everything was great! The wait time was minimal. The friendly staff throughout the store were wearing masks. The waiter was friendly and efficient. The food was great. Coffee strong. The splitting of the check was painless. They didn't rush us out after we were done (we didn't linger long, but still) I mean - it was the perfect with friends after a long time. read more

Quality food but expensive price. Good service and good experience over all... Not really a 'Diner'

I love love love silver diner and all their healthy options! I was beyond excited to give the ashburn location a try !!! I came in an the location is beautiful!!! The staff is super sweet. II Part I had the worst experience at this restaurant in 15 years I believe. Felt totally discriminated for going to dine in by myself (alone) at 11pm. When I came in they thought I was looking for their pick up area of Uber Eats or something so they asked me. Then, I could enter the restaurant... Felt like Burgess service in 2022? It was bad and I don't want to write an email to the person that reached out to me here. I won't. read more

I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to in this case. We haven't been to a Silver Diner in years so I was eager to take the family to the new Ashburn location. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The pastrami reuben had almost no meat and what it had was fatty and chewy. I took a pic of half, which was the same as the other. The Philly cheesesteak was mostly onions and very little meat. Hardly any fries, although my son said his were still good. $30 for two underwhelming sandwhiches. Cobb salad and peppermint shake were just OK. For appetizers we had crispy Brussels and Avacado toast, both tasted good actually. Service was just ok, no refills, no check-ins until the end to give the check. The experience in general was disappointing even though we wanted it to be good. For the same price point you can find a better product across the street. read more

Silver Diner - Where's the beef (er pastrami)?? - Diners Near Me - Ashburn, Virginia

Solid diner breakfast, great variety, nice atmosphere and service. Country griddle was good, yummy mushrooms and sausage. The spicy Chesapeake Bloody Mary was only ok - will try a regular one next time. Finally it was just a little pricey but overall good value. read more

4 friends and I visited for dinner on a Friday night, and we had an awesome experience! We arrived around 8pm. It was fairly busy, but we were seated right away. Our waitress was wonderful-- very friendly and attentive. She explained the seasonal selections on the menu to us, all of which sounded delicious. There was a very wide selection of food on the menu, which was admittedly a bit overwhelming at first. There was definitely something for everyone! Two friends and I ended up ordering build-your-own burgers, one ordered steak frites, and another had lamb meatball sliders. We also ordered cheese fries as an appetizer. The fries came out quickly and were absolutely delicious; we finished the plate in minutes. All of our entrees arrived together and in a timely manner, and they all tasted amazing. The ingredients were definitely of high quality, and everything was very flavorful. As for expenses, the menu items are a bit on the pricy side compared to a typical diner. However, we considered it well worth it for the tasty food we got. All of us left happy and satisfied, and we're excited to return in the future! read more

Today my boyfriend and I went to the Silver diner for lunch. As soon as we got in we were sat.The waitress came over and took our drink orders and when she came back she only had my boyfriends sprite. She then scurried off and said the bar was making my drink. She came back over a little while later with my drink and quickly turned around to leave. I had to stop her to ask her for straws. She then tells us that they only have a little straws and brings over straws that were half the size of my glass. We ordered chicken tenders for an appetizer and they were really good. I ordered the country scrambler and it wasn't good. The pancakes tasted like paper, and the gravy had no seasoning. My boyfriend ordered the steak and eggs and wasn't happy with how his steak was cooked. By the time we flag down the waitress I was already finished eating my food. Luckily a manager walked by and took care of everything. I understand things happen and sometimes people need more training but I also appreciate when a manager can step up and take responsibility for his staff and their performance. We will Probably return and give this place another chance. For nothing else the drinks were amazing. read more

I know this restaurant is new it was clean and inviting the food was good but the service was lacking. We waited 15 minutes just for a server to greet us. In order for that to have happened we had to go to the hosta station and ask if we had a waiter. The food then took another 20 minutes. The salad that was supposed to come out first was forgotten. All in all I think the staff needs more training and to be honest if I'm gonna spend that kind of money we spent for four people to eat dinner there I'm going to go to somewhere with a much better dining experience read more

All I can say by looking at the menu....It's the most expensive "Diner" in the world. Typically a diner is fairly inexpensive. I have lived around the country from New Jersey to Michigan and Los Angeles and eaten at various diners/family restaurants and the pricing is nuts. read more
