The Silver Diner continues to be our favourite restaurant. Yes, there are fancier restaurants. However the Diner is the best for variety of delicious meals that are also visually appealing. The service is great! read more

let me start with I have had mostly breakfast here and the crabcake sandwich. All were acceptable enough for me to try the "Local Tenderloin Steak Frites"...bigget mistake of my life, worst meal of my life. 1) the tenderloin is misnamed. It is so tough i actually had a hard time currting it, but the taste was good (thanks to the pesto hollandaise) so i tried to eat it. I got part way through one of the medalions but my jaws hurt so much i had the stop...they went into the garbage. 2) the friench fries were so thin and overdone that it like eating toothpicks. Into the garbage also. 3) the roasted vegetables were brussel sprouts and sweet potato cubes. ...into the garbage. 4) the salad itself was passable, but i order requefort dressing for it and i got a totally flavorless, white goop. ate half of it, the rest into the garbage. This was a total waste of $27. i would have done better going to MacDonald's. Never again. read more

Very expensive with similar menu to ihope. I feel like it's just because new location to Ashburn. With time passing by will soon by another slow location like ihope. read more

Excellent air quality and the service was steady during a morning rush. The cost of "The American Favorite" is reasonable at 12.49. With orange juice and coffee and gratuity the total price will be equivalent to the cost of one share of "BRKY". Flexible vegan options and a robust menu. I enjoy the diner experience and will rate the Silver Diner a five star establishment. read more

Seated quickly, even on a Sunday morning. Server was friendly and attentive. We ordered a Power Breakfast and Omelette, both were delicious. The coffee was extra hot and tasty. The bloody mary's were spicy and only $5. Would definitely come back. read more

We had lunch at the diner for the first time on a Sunday. We got a table very quickly. The ambient of the diner was as expected as we've been to other diners before. Not too noisy, not too quiet. Our server was friendly and attentive. I've ordered an organic bison burger, and my husband ordered vegetarian tacos. I had coffee, and my husband had root beer for a drink. The burger was delicious. I love organic food and goat cheese. My husband liked his veggie tacos but has said the veggie tasted as if he was eating bean tacos. We want to try other things on the menu on our next visit. We want to visit this diner for breakfast as well. I didn't like the coffee much, because it tasted like burned beans. I and my husband agreed with that. However, I enjoyed my lunch. People were seating outside too. We chose to sit inside because it was a very hot day for us. In general, this is a new place, and the servers may still be learning their new workplace. The diner was clean and the service was quick. We will go back to try other stuff on the menu. read more

Drove from Haymarket to Ashburn Silver dinner just for breakfast and it never disappoints. Every employee from the minute you walk in to when you leave is competent, nice and goes the extra mile to meet the customer's needs. Evelyn was our waitress at the counter and what great service we received from her. The diner was especially busy but she managed to multi task between all the customers. She was attentive, friendly and competent. there is no doubt we will return. cheryl from Haymarket read more

My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch today as we were running around over that way and saw that it was open. Liz was our server and she was very attentive and took great care of us. She was very friendly and had a smile on her face the entire time she was waiting tables. They were very busy but we only waited about 10 min for a table. The whole staff was very friendly and you could tell they had all been well trained in their positions. They also all helped each other out if they saw a table was in need of something. We will definitely be back to try more delicious food! read more

We have always had a good experience at the Silver Diner until our last visit. I ordered a chop salad which came wilted and with some unidentifiable meat cubes. Another person had spinach with her meal that was inedible. Hoping this doesn't become a pattern. Service was good. read more

Our company had a very large breakfast order, and this was our first time ordering with Silver Diner. They knocked it out of the park! They individually packaged and bagged over 40 meals along with the sides that were ordered. They were efficient, pleasant, and went above and beyond all of my expectation! The staff was beyond amazing! It was a very trying order and they still provided excellent service with a smile on their faces. They assisted me with loading into my vehicle and again went above and beyond! The food was fresh and delicious! The staff raved about the quality and healthy options they offered. They all said how good the food was and ensured I would go back to them next time. This will be our go to for all company events from now on! Thank you so much John and the whole team that assisted me this morning! Serious props to the entire Silver Diner team! read more

Food is delicious and catered to your health needs!

First time visit for a Saturday Brunch with my family at this newly opened restaurant (opened 1 month ago) left us with a rather big disappointment from service standpoint. Food: ingredients seemed to be very good, using eggs from pasture raised Amish farm from PA, no nitrates in bacon, etc. 4-5 stars for quality of food. $14 for omelette, $10 for french toast. Service: 1-2 stars would be stretching it. Mind you, the young lady that greeted us and seated us to our table was very friendly and courteous, such as asking us 'Have you been to our restaurant before, or is this your first time?' 'Well you came just at the right time before things got really crowded'. Unfortunately, after she left, customer service seemed to have left with her as well. The young waitress (her name started with M) had a cold, uncaring and unfriendly demeanor that seemed out of place, which really soured our entire experience. We weren't nearly bothered so much by the absence of any courteousness, such as the lack of any 'thank you', or even the lack of any attempt to smile that left us thinking, 'We would have found more friendliness if a robot was taking orders from us' Rather, it was when she went to another table and we saw how she was talking with a bit of a smile and attentiveness that really disturbed us. I wont speculate about the reasons for the young lady's demeanor, but the impression she gave us was that attending to our table was not her cup od tea and it the last thing she wanted to be doing at the present time. A person who I assumed was a manager did stop by subsequently and asked us how we were doing, and I did complain about the waitress. (I am not one to complain much about anything - this was actually the first time I ever complained to a restaurant manager in more than 20 years). Was it was the lack of experience or training? We dont know, but the staff could certainly learn a thing or two in being more friendly and attentive, as we have had much better customer service at local IHOP or Panera. Perhaps the waitress got a hint from the manager, as afterwards she appeared more attentive and caring, but even still, the overall sour experience has certainly gotten us thinking twice about going back there in the future. read more

this place is amazing this is my to go every time and evelyn is amazing waitress, good service and great vibe. thank you.

Great menu and professional staff. We look forward to our weekly breakfast at Silver Diner.

it was my first time here after being really excited for this place to open up. I came in at 10:45 pm and right off the bat the service was bad. i asked 2 questions to the hostesses and they didn't even acknowledge me. i'd never be rude because i've worked in a restaurant. im not sure if service is different during the day versus an hour before close. the hostess sat us and threw the menu's on the table along with the silverware. our server was very odd and i got that vibe from pretty much every employee in there. our drinks took 30 minutes to come; just a mimosa, a beer, and a cocktail. i have a high patience level due to working in a restaurant so something could have been going on. basically all of the employees seem like they haven't even had training. the food was good and so were the drinks. i'd like to try this place again and hopefully it will be better next time. read more

I went for brunch at silver diner. I got the French toast. The food was great, however the food did take a little longer than expected. Service was nice and it was fairly busy. read more

So disappointing. Bacon was thin and cheap. Tuna Melt was served cold and uneatable. Rueben was super greasy and gave my daughter's boyfriend a stomachache. And to make it worst, his French Fries were served COLD and SOGGY! ....the ultimate sin! My eggs were perfect, waffle average but the syrup was without flavor. The milk shakes are good. read more

I ordered lunch for my entire QA and Admin staff today and not only was the food ready when I went to pick it up, it was still hot by the time I returned to the office. The staff at Silver Diner were efficient, polite, and the Manager was helping to fill orders so that everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious. I was very impressed with this Silver Diner. This restaurant is amazing. Much more than a diner! Food was fresh and delicious. Everything we had was amazing! I highly recommend the Silver Diner. Farm fresh vegetables and grass fed beef on the menu. I had the steak And it was good, cooked to perfection! Salads were great too! read more

Just like the other Silver Diners, the food is great and the service is good. It's clean, it's a great location, parking is easy, and the service is friendly. When you want breakfast, or just good diner food, this is where to go. To everyone knocking them for not providing 5 star service, it's a diner, not a expensive steakhouse. If you want water on the table and white tablecloths there's other places in Loudoun to go. But if you just want darn good diner food, go here. read more

This really has the old fashioned diner feel (or what id imagine it to be like). Also has plenty of options for people with various dietary restrictions and they are actually good! Additionally the waiters always do their best, not to mention they are all hot. I think my only complaint, as a vegan, is the use of beyond meat. I dont think anyone likes to eat that shit, they could make their own meat substitute or just do something like black bean patty read more

My granddaughter and I had lunch at the new Silver Diner in Ashburn and I was delighted that we could sit outside at a table under an umbrella. Overall we had a wonderful experience and we will be back! read more

Silver diner is notoriously known for having great customer service, however the level of service at Ashburn is something I've never seen before. The way that the staff cared for you as if you're their own family is amazing. I placed an order for to-go one time and the ladies that worked there did an amazing job at getting me my food on time, regardless of it being really busy. I've also had really good experiences dining in with many great servers. Aside from the impeccable service, the food is amazing! There is a crazy amount of things to choose from, from diner classics to vegan and flexitarian. Whoever is running the Silver diner in Ashburn knows what they're doing!! Silver Diner - Dining room late at night. - Diners Near Me - Ashburn, Virginia

Food is a bit pricey, but was good! Unfortunately, our waitress was not. No spoons for coffee and stirred with forks. We had to ask for 1/2 and 1/2. Why would you ask 1/2 way through your meal if you want the check? Then leave the check only for the credit card machine to time out? Should we have stopped eating to pay the bill? Never asked if we wanted anything else. It was very disappointing! read more

The service was AMAZING! Food had lots of different options for dietary restrictions. This is my go-to diner for date nights :)

I really like this place. Locally sourced, organic fare that tastes delicious! This Ashburn location - near Loudoun One - is so clean and bright! Service is great! Place is new, but I hope things don't go downhill. For now, a definite go-to for me! read more

Silver Diner Ashburn is awesome. Every item we got was delicious: entrees, soup, milkshakes.

So happy they opened a Silver Diner closer to me. The food is delicious, so many favorites. Service is great! We love Pamy!

I have been to this place a couple times now and this is an amazing place to go. One of the people that stand out the most is the supervisor Blanca. I went just this past Tuesday January 31,2023 and she was amazing. When we first showed up she greeted us at the door and always had a smile on her face. There was a mistake with my food but Blanca came in and helped out a lot. She helped get me the right food and helped fix everything. Definitely going to come back again. Blanca really deserves a raise with how good a person she is. read more

Not all Silver Diner's are created equal. I typically eat at the one in Merrifield weekly. This week took me to the Ashburn location and it was awful! I counted 13 staff members hanging out on the far side of the restaurant while two servers handled all patrons on our side of the restaurant (there were not many of us). It was 1pm on a Thursday and not busy. A 45 minute stop took over an hour and a half between bad service and delays in the kitchen. The burger that I ordered did not have the bacon listed on the menu. I mentioned it to the server and was told it would be taken care of right away. Fast forward another 30 minutes... No bacon and I finally tracked a manager down to get the check. As I was getting up to pay, along came the bacon. I've been to enough restaurants to know that this wasn't just an "off" day; Silver Diner in Ashburn is off the list. read more

2 stars for the desserts they have. Excellent milkshakes and apple pie. The main entrees and other food just went downhill. Not sure if it's this location or what. Came for dinner and it wasn't packed but took forever for the food to come. We ordered salmon and steak medallions meal. My food came out lukewarm albeit the medallions had good flavor. Fries mediocre. The veggies looked and tasted horribly. Fish had "fishy" taste to it. Again, not sure if it's this particular location (our 2nd time here) but the service and food quality is not worth the price. Exception of the desserts! Disappointing since I've been a fan of the establishment for years. Maybe Chef Ype needs to revamp things.. read more
