I've had to be gluten-free for 13 years, and one of my most sought-after foods is a French Dip sandwich. In all that time, I've only found one place in Calgary that serves it, but I found it again here! It was beyond heavenly. Rich, flavorful au jus, tender meat, a perfect balance of cheese, and soft bread that held its integrity almost as well as the normal stuff. Came in for dinner after visiting Grand Teton. We had the chicken pot pie which was delicious highly recommended and a cob salad.

Just stopped by on the way to Grand Tetons. Got the mushroom swiss burger with fries. Very good. Seating was prompt, and our server was attentive. Wow!!! Great food, great prices!! So my boss said they we had to eat at least one at sidewinders before we left Jackson Hole, so we made it a point for our team to go together. I am SO glad he recommended this restaurant. Great atmosphere great food and the staff was excellent making us feel right at home. I had the fish & chips and I was expecting to just peel the batter off the chunks of cod like I usually do at places that cook fish and chips. NOPE, not this place! I ordered chicken fried steak and gravy with mashed potatoes (skins included but not too much) and broccolini. My husband got the Reuben sandwich with fries. And we ordered mozzarella cheese squares for appetizer. We were very happy with our food choices! Beer is decently priced. Cool low key vibe, came in straight off a hike and fit in just fine haha. I was so excited to go to a restaurant featured in Diner's, Drive-Ins and Dives. We ordered all the items that were featured from the show. We started with the stuffed pretzel. You can get it stuffed with any pizza ingredients. We chose cheese. It was DELICIOUS! We all agreed we would return to have a beer and a pretzel, in the future. My friend and I split the pot pie and Caesar salad. They put it in a very SMALL cup. If you order it separately, it's a much larger portion. After we tasted it, we agreed that we were glad we were not given a bigger portion. It was tasteless. We tried adding salt, pepper, jalapeños. Nope. My friends split the carne asada. It was just ok. I kinda regret this, because I should have spoken up. Service was good. We got 3 burgers, a salad and some pot stickers. The Salad was fine, the pot stickers were great. The burgers came with fries, and those were good. The burgers though, man, they were bad. They were so dry. Just so dry. We got two Swiss and mushroom burgers, and a Tex mex burger. The Tex mex burger had guacamole, so it wasn't too bad, but the mushroom Swiss burgers were just so dry. We probably won't be back, but if you decide to go, avoid the burgers, or at least speak up. read more

After visiting Grand Teton NP all day, I was in a big hurry to find a place where I could watch my LA Dodgers beat the SD Padres in the final game of the NLDS series. Found this place on Yelp and I couldn't have picked a better spot to complete this goal. We arrived just as the game was starting, and were seated immediately at a large booth with our own private TV. Having not eaten all day, we were starving so we started with the chips and salsa and a pretzel stuffed with pepperoni and cheese. Both were awesome and kept us satisfied while we slowly took our time to look over the menu. My husband had the burger which he said was great and I ordered their famous chicken pot pie, which comes with a Caesar salad. I was leary of ordering this as we travel all over the country and I have yet to find a pot pie that truly lives up to its hype, however this one literally surpasses it! It was honestly the best thing I ate on our entire trip. Finished the night off with some type of cheesecake/brownie dessert which was good, but nothing special. We stayed three hours for the entire game and never felt rushed either. My only complaint would be that there is no way to turn up the volume on individual TVs as it all goes through one system so I was not able to hear any of the commentary. I went to sidewinders for the first time a couple weeks ago and now I come in every week or so. I am impressed with it. My friend loved his spicy barbecue wings with a side of delicious crispy,yet soft side of fries. I was impressed with the variety of menu options . You could get a salad, pizza, wings, burger, sandwich, soup and more. Also they had many GLUTEN FREE options, thank the lord! The inclusivity and great food was what guaranteed my return to this tasteful sports bar. We were in the mood for bloody Mary's and were a bit underwhelmed sadly. Artichoke dip however was incredible comes with bread and celery and carrots ! I'm used to getting a little more of a snack on top. Even one slice of bacon is pretty normal to include in a Bloody Mary but it was plain and a bit peppery and olives at the bottom and had to put our fork in our drink to get them. Overall this place is wonderful and will definitely have something for everyone. Perfect if you can't decide where to eat this place will always have a dish you are in the mood for. We remembered this place from a trip several years ago, so when we were in Jackson, we decided to have dinner there. The food was still good but not as good as we remembered. However, the service was terrible. Our server and after a moderate wait, our food was brought out by a couple of other employees. Our server never checked back with us about the food until three out of the four of us were done with our meals. Then when I asked for the check, we waited almost 15 minutes before he remembered. The restaurant was only about 1/3 full, so there really wasn't much of an excuse. read more

The service was also completely fantastic so I want to give 5 stars. The four stars is because of how terrible the chicken tenders were. We NEVER send food back, but these were so bad we did. It definitely made us feel better when the table across from us also sent their chicken tenders back! The breading was like soggy and just so gross! And they were cold! The waitress was awesome though, she took them off our tab, and also brought another order of pot stickers that she did not charge us for. Sammy is an amazing waitress... we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table for a party of 6... Sammy was great very attentive and answered all of our questions. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which was creamy goodness and the nachos that was shareable between all . We ordered local beers, cider, and cocktails.... all came out great! The atmosphere was okay. Love the pro America and military vibe. The food selection was good and tasted good. Service was average. The issue is the automatic 20% gratuity they hit us with. Disappointing! Stopped by for a quick lunch as we were leaving Teton Village. Server took our order and did not write it down, therefore, she got it all wrong. My husband received the wrong sandwich and had to send it back. Manager informed us the correct order would be right out. After being told numerous times, by the manager, that the order was on the way and still not receiving the correct sandwich, we gave up and left. In addition, I was brought a salad with the wrong dressing. We then drove 5 hours to Salt Lake City without my husband having lunch. Disaster!!! read more

Me and my family of six went here for Father's Day to have lunch and were very disappointed with the ambiance and service. As a full time native resident here I've grown up going to this restaurant and it's truly sad how much it's declined. When we first arrived we asked if we could sit outside so we could enjoy the sun to which we were told we couldn't. We were then seated at a booth that was broken. The seat rocked back and forth when you shifted your weight and was truly uncomfortable. They allowed us to move to the next booth over but that table had the same problem. After some frustration we moved for the second time to a different table altogether that didn't even fit our party comfortably. All while this was happening we watched other groups of the same size all be seated outside. I don't understand why they couldn't seat us outside to start with but it was fine. Our server was good, took our order with ease, delivered our food hot, and made sure we didn't need anything. Another thing I'm going to mention is the woman's restroom. Washing your hands was truly unbearable as the water was so hot it burnt your hands. To end this on a sweeter note, the food still holds its quality. The Sidewinders pretzel is a staple and is still amazing to this day. The potstickers are my personal favorite. We also ordered the cowboy Mac and cheese which was bomb I don't like leaving bad reviews, but the disaster of our seating really ruined the atmosphere of our lunch to celebrate our Fathers. If the owner sees this or any of the managers, please fix your seating! But as a staple of Jackson I will still recommend this restaurant to any tourists that come through. Garbage. Seriously waited almost a half hour to get in and then another hour to get served. Rude. Just rude. I have never had an experience like this. I came from NY & people from NY are suppose to be rude but man I got fed up. I wanted to kick my table cause I was w my fam. Vacation shouldn't be like this.
