I hesitate to give a restaurant 2 stars, especially during these trying times, so if you read this you'll know I feel this is really a 2 star restaurant. Staff is gloved and masked. Good. Staff stands 6 feet away, good. Staff is not easily understood due to mask, distance and low monotone mumbling. Not good. I ordered the French dip. It was okay. The fries were fine. I've had better, I've had worse. Price was fine. I just wasn't overly impressed. There are better restaurant experiences in Jackson. If I lived here I wouldn't be back to this one. Fast and great service the food was good great sports bar and a good hangout with tons of food.

Couldn't get a table at the location in Bozeman when we were there so we decided to try the JH location. The pretzel appetizer was very good. My fish and chips were really good but hubbys Buffalo chicken sandwich came out ice cold and when he sent it back he had a new one in under two minutes which is very suspicious... did they originally give him an old one that wasn't picked up? Did they just microwave the cold one? Who knows. Now we know we didn't miss anything when we were in Bozeman! read more

Great place to eat! Had to call at least 5/6 restaurants to finally find this place that was open. We got the Fish and chips and Chicken pie pot. Chicken pot pie was so creamy and good that I was tempted to get another one to-go but sadly we were staying at a hotel and it was too hard to warm it up. The Chicken pot pie came with salad too! Fish and chips was good but I would loved it even more if there was another piece. There were only 3 smaller pieces of fish which for a grown man is not much if you are hungry and came from a hike. The Chicken pot pie was about $17 but fish chips was $22 which as I mentioned already was too expensive for 3 pieces but it was delicious so it's up to you BUT definitely go for the Chicken pot pie! read more

So delicious, French Onion Soup, Brussel sprouts with salmon filet and Fish and Chips were above expectation. But the personal attention of Niah and her fellow wait staff team were such a joy, that it's hard to differentiate the best of the food from the attentive service. We enjoyed the fireplace/coach ambiance while awaiting our table. As retired military we appreciated the abundant, but subdued, tributes to those who've served. 2nd story restaurant with outdoor seating, along with sports bar style indoor seating with lots of TVs with all the sports on. Food is very good. Especially the Buffalo chicken pizza; 1 slice is size of small pizza! We went back 3 days later to get another dose during our vacation. 'Ello chaps! Sidewinders is located on the main corridor between downtown Jackson and the more "essential" area of town, where there is the Aldi's and other shops. Not sure the vibe of Sidewinders, other than a mix of sports bar and aviation fan. They have a nice outdoor seating area, only wish it were larger. Out of all of the restaurants we dined at all week, this was hands down my favorite. French Onion Soup and Chicken Pot Pie were top notch. Staff was friendly, prices were decent. Sidewinders is part of the Blue Collar Restaurant Group. TIP: Use YELP to get in line. It'll save you a lot of standing around. Overall I give Sidewinders Four stars out of Five. read more

I discovered one of my favorite beers here, for that I'll always be grateful to Sidewinders. The food was excellent especially it being our post-hike meal. Service was spot on and quick! Decided to stop in for the first time after visiting the Elk Refuge. We live locally and are in Jackson a couple times a month and we stop and try out new places each time. We were a group of 7 but they were able to seat us right away near the bar. The waiter was very prompt and nice and took good care of us. We ordered to kids chicken strips, Brussel sprouts, side of fries, 2 orders of nachos with asada, a bowl of bison chili and a pretzel. The food was delivered fast and accurate. Everything tasted great. The only complaints are the bison chili and Brussel sprouts were just warm and not hot therefore only 4 stars. Besides that we will be back again. read more

We stopped for dinner after hiking at Jenny Lake. The food and drinks were excellent. I'm not rating a five because we had our mini bernadoodle with us, so the only seating option for customers with a dog was a deck table in the sun. It was uncomfortably hot at 4:30! Stopped in for lunch after morning Hike in Teton National Park. The atmosphere was lively, but wasn't too busy. The local beer selection was on point, as well as a great menu. We ordered a variety of things from the menu, and everything was hot and delicious. Our server was attentive, despite missing a couple items that we had ordered. There was a game room in the back to keep the kids occupied. Overall a decent spot in Jackson to eat and have a drink. We would definitely go back. read more

Our second night I didn't have reservations made so we scanned a few and settled on Sidewinders across from where we stayed, Wyoming Inn. There is a large variety to choose from on the menu but I picked the Bruce Lee-roy sandwich...and it was so tasty! I added extra teriyaki glaze which made it perfect for me. The aoli sauce also gave it a nice kick! I would recommend this restaurant for sure! We didn't have a wait & the staff was so friendly & helpful... we got the cold shoulder at a few places in town but Sidewinders made our day great. read more

I've had a couple of hours to consider my experience at sidewinders. The mushroom burger that I ordered was small, had a really squishy bun, and the beef was basically tasteless. What was really kind of gross was the sweet potato fries that I ordered. They were so oily you could almost feel the grease oozing out of them with every bite. On the other hand, the service was great! They also had a really great tv wall which gave the place a special touch. I wouldn't recommend going to this place for the food but it's a great place for friends to watch a game. read more

We had a short wait to be seated for lunch. Next time I will get on the wait list via Yelp. This place had outdoor seating as well as a variety of inside seating options. Since they were busy, we didn't expect any options and we ended up with a lovely view out over the front of the restaurant. DH had the Dagwood sandwich with a side of French onion soup and I had the avocado burger with a side salad. The ratio of contents to bun was excellent on my burger. The salad had a nice mix of spring greens. Service was great, our ice teas were refilled as needed. We got seated immediately. The pretzel was really good. The fettuccine was a little dry. The chicken was good. Our server, Georgianna, was good. Atmosphere is sports bar and had a nice layout. There was great outdoor seating but not many spots so we were stuck inside. The only thing a little annoying is our booth had a tv right on the wall and we watched people getting pounded bloody in mixed martial arts while eating! This restaurant has a good montano view. Waiting is about 45minutes, most likely is a sports bar feel. There are TVs next to all the tables, of course by the bar. We were got to sit on the patio (lucky). The draft beer is good , sandwiches is delicious and big portions, I only ate half to get full. Had a pretty weird experience placing a pick up order. They were very insistent that I give them a credit card over the phone (which I'm rarely comfortable doing). I said no. That I would pay when I pick it up. Like any other to go order from any other place in the world. The hostess had to put on the manager for me to explain I'm paying when I pick it up. Ordered couple 100$ worth of wings for the crew and they were very average. They also said they wouldn't do extra crispy wings. Bummer. Fire hot wasn't that hot BTW. read more
