Mountain view's were great!!
Nathan D.

Sidewinders had a great atmosphere, curb appeal and awesome outdoor seating with mountain view's but the food was okie doke. I had a burger and my wife had a cobb salad. Burger was good , Cobb salad was just ok , dressing wasn't great. We loved sitting outside and the views were very nice. We also had a very pleasant conversation with the young waiter who was from Romania( can't remember his name ) but if the food was as good as the service, i'd have given 5 stars for sure.

Was in the area after a long day of hiking and needed something fast. We noticed this place didnt have a wait so we went on ahead. Parking is fairly simple and we were seated outside pretty quickly. Our waiter come around pretty often. Food was fast to come out. The pot pie and philly beef were really good. The pizza lacked some flavor. Couldn't really taste the pesto or balsamic glaze. But overall satiated us after a long day of excursions. Would go back to check out other items.

I recently went to sidewinders on West Broadway Ave. in Jackson with some friends. The interior of the restaurant feels industrial, which matches with the materialistic vibe of the veteran owned restaurant. The service was pretty good and our server was friendly. I ordered the chicken pot pie, which I thought was really good. The crust was nice and flaky the chicken tender with some yummy creamy gravy.

Stopped in for dinner and loved eating outside. Everything was really delicious, and the portions were huge. Service was fast as well.

Great food and excellent service! The Pot Pie, Pizza and jalapeño grilled cheese are EXCELLENT! If you get a chance stop by.

Mushs slice with unwanted pepperoni.

Terrible pizza. We ordered to go, large, x cheese, and half pepperoni/half mushroom. We got a very thin layer of cheese. The receipt said X, but there wasn't enough to feel while eating. 2/3 pepperoni, 1/3 mushroom. Just was well that I am not a vegetarian, and that the Pizza wasn't good enough to eat more than a slice. Can't comment on temperature, of course, because it was takeout. Really, not worth $28. In the past, salads and sandwiches have been ok.

Found this little chill spot in Jackson hole. The owner is an ex marine, so it's pretty decked out in military trinkets & cool photos. They had a small arcade, a lot of things didn't work, including the coin machine. But the games we did play, the kiddo had fun! Service was great, our server was also bartending & had quite a few tables but she did a wonderful job handling all the business! They have outdoor seating (it's on the second floor so it's a balcony seating area). Food was good! I had the Nashville hot sandwich, it wasn't super hot but hey, we're not in the south anymore haha! French onion soup was amazing! Some family got the grilled cheese & that was SO spicy due to the fresh jalepenos. Philly was great, mozzarella cheese squares were delicious & so cheesy. Overall, we had a good time!

My husband and I enjoying our lunch. Nice big windows to see the beautiful views. He ordered the Bacon, Swiss Burger with fries.

My husband and ate here at Sidewinders years ago. Visiting Jackson again and came back, so glad we did. They have great food with a nice casual atmosphere. They have a nice dining area and bar. I ordered their French onion soup and a Caesar salad which was very good. My husband had their Swiss and mushroom hamburger and fries. They do have a number of sides to choose from besides fries. He enjoyed his meal. I like the atmosphere at Sidewinders. It's casual and clean. We had great service, our server did a great job.

Pulled pork with baked beans

We have been to most restaurants in Jackson but have missed this one for some reason. It is upstairs and has a fun sporty atmosphere with TVs to watch your favorite sport. I loved the sports memorabilia on the walls too. We started with the potstickers and really enjoyed them. You could taste a hint of ginger and the sweet with the spicy and the crunch if the sesame seeds all married well for a great appetizer. For the main meal, my partner chose the pulled pork with baked beans. It was delicious and it came topped coleslaw and pickles. I chose the seemingly popular chicken fried steak and was impressed by the portion, fresh roasted carrots, and the gravy was savory and had a meaty flavor that put it over the top. It also came with mashed potatoes, but I found those a little dry. I wish they had been a bit more generous with the gravy- that would have helped a lot. It also came with a healthy of garlic bread to even out the meal. Overall, I was happy with the atmosphere of the place and the food was good. I need to bring my kids here to try the arcade too.

Can I make a reservation for Friday dec 31 at 6pm?

Unfortunately they don't take reservations. You can use Yelp's wait list app instead and they recommend that.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening and dinner…read more Possibly the best ribeye I've had in the past 10 years, but the other "foam and powder"aspects of the dish were just silly. The so called General Tso steak sauce was like a thimbleful smear and completely irrelevant. BBQ Ramen seasoning? Not even enough to get a taste profile of it. The trout with a green curry sauce was good but again, ummmm.... Trout has a subtle flavor. Green curry coconut sauce, and stuffed with another type of Asian something something....might as just as well better to use a neutral tasting fish like a better quality tilapia imho. Let trout taste like trout. Use a different, neutral tasting fish for these kinds of sauces and fillings. Well at least it wasn't covered with a garnish of micro greens lol. Just a little cilantro heh heh heh. I mean don't get me wrong. Both entrees were okay. But a waste of quality fish when a less costly fish would have been fine what with all those other flavors. And the foam and powder embellishments on the steak were barely noticeable. The whole menu reads like a community college cooking school graduate little bit of this little bit of that. When I get home I'm going to have fun writing the different components of all the menu items on index cards, shuffle, and see what combinations come up each time. And I love the idea of a General Tso steak sauce and want to try creating one. And using a packet of Ramen seasoning instead of Cajun seasoning sounds like a fun thing to try. I just won't do it on a fifty dollar piece of meat. If you are counting calories you skip the gross doughnut hole dessert. Dense ball of dough. Gummy. Like they used a cake doughnut recipe instead of a yeast doughnut or beignet recipe. But if not counting calories , go for it. It's fun to try the sauces, even if not that great a doughnut. Great, festive, lively ambiance . Super friendly staff and service.

With so many strong restaurants in Jackson, this one didn't stand out as one we would revisit…read more Our server was lovely--friendly, attentive, and clearly doing their best. Unfortunately, the bar was painfully slow. Our first round of drinks took about 15 minutes, and the second took closer to 30 minutes after ordering. We eventually had to check in to make sure they were even coming. The food was fine, but not something we'd come back for. The elk pasta lacked the depth and richness you expect from a bolognese. The trout--poblano stuffed and curry-prepared--was an interesting idea, but the curry completely overpowered the fish, making the dish feel unbalanced. We had curry-dusted trout at The Blue Lion earlier in the week that was far better. (One of the best trout meals I've ever had.)

It is sort of tapas style and goes nice if you decide to eat family style. The entrees are sort of medium sized portions, so, in most cases if you share with one person you should get 2-3 dishes. If you have a light appetite, though, one of the pastas would be plenty for you. We got the Caesar salad, the elk bolganaise, and the short rib. Everything was good. They made me a couple standard Old Fashioneds different than the menu option, which were excellent. It was a new Rye to me so I took a picture of the bottle to get some at home. Prices were on the high side, but service and quality were good. My drink was $22 which, frankly was a little obscene for an Old Fashioned with a "mid-range" rye, but I was on vacation and I still had a 2nd. LOL. It was great. It's just a lot for a drink. If you want to go over the top, they also have a Tomahawk steak for $126 that I'm sure is excellent. A lot of folks were getting the bone marrow which looked good. Entrees seemed to be around $30 each. I would go back. I liked sitting at the bar and talking to people. Bartenders were really great about spacing out the food so things didn't come on top of one another.

Heard great things about Glorietta Trattoria so booked it when visiting Jackson Hole this weekend…read more It did not disappoint. First, it's located in what was a killer old house in downtown. Open style kitchen and a gathering waterhole type bar. Note: the seats at the bar reserve faster than the tables. After seeing the insides I can see why. Simply amazing. Our waitress knew the menu front to back with all the nuances. When we asked what some of her favorites were. She literally rattled off 1/2 the menu. Menu is not over sized, on purpose. Every dish is well thought out and executed to perfection. Note #2: the Ceasar Salad is enough for 2 or more! And it's fantastic. About the only thing I could suggest to be better here is if management had pre-printed "Cowboy hat etiquette" cards to hand out to the patrons who arrive with hats. Lots of hats. Not a lot of true understanding for Cowboy Hat etiquette. From casual to formal, hats are off while sitting and dining. Highly recommend Glorietta Trattoria. Just remember to take your hat off at the table.

Everything we ordered was exquisite-- espresso martini, the stuffed mushrooms (to die for), and our entrees. Compliments to the chef for rendering a really special meal that we'll never be able to duplicate. The tenderloin medallions were perfect (melt in your mouth) and the preparation on the menu (blue cheese crab reduction) was flawless and didn't overpower the flavor... just added light, nuttiness to the dish. The trout was incredible. I was a little intimidated by the menu description, but the curry dusting drew out the natural sweetness of the fish. It was perfectly prepared and I ate every bite. Very flavorful and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend ordering it. I also ordered the trout, which unfortunately did not live up to the rest of the meal. It lacked flavor and was the weakest dish at the table. On the plus side, they have a solid drink selection. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so reservations are recommended. We walked in without one and were seated within about thirty minutes. The wait was spent in the lounge area, which was cozy, and they served drinks while you wait. Overall, worth visiting, especially for the lamb.
