    Club sandwich

Sidelines was busy and after 2-3 minutes we were seated. Great music playing on the radio. Food was excellent as always. Our server was so nice and really went out of her way. Pimento blt was the best my companion has ever had. Club sandwich was toasted to perfection and I ordered honey mustard instead of the mayo. Pasta salad once again was a hit.

We arrived and were immediately seated by the host, who asked if we wanted a booth or a table; we chose a booth. Rather than put us at one of the booths at the front, he walked us all the way to the back, right next to the FOH staff's dedicated booth for doing their side work, which we both found very strange, when there were plenty of other options. Our booth clearly had not been bussed since the previous occupants (standing water, sticky spots, etc.) The server came out and greeted us within a reasonable time-frame, probably between 3-7 minutes, and took our drink order. When she returned with our drinks, she was ready to take our food order, but we still had our menus in our hands, usually an indication that you're trying to decide what you want, and at the same time I shouldn't fault her for trying to help speed things along. Both my wife and I ordered the same thing with two differences: she got tots and no tomatoes, I got fries and asked if I could have her tomatoes. When the orders came out, they had flip-flopped the order. No big deal, easy fix. The disappointment began when I could tell my fries were average cook, not the crunchy taters I had asked for. I ate four or five and decided they weren't worth the calories, so I started on my club sandwich. The ciabatta used is at least a few days old, so without a proper toasting, you get a chewy mouthful of bread jerky. The chicken is dry, flavorless, and cooked on a grill that could benefit from a good scrubbing. When I could finally taste the "aioli" it resembled the diluted remnants at the bottom of a salad bowl, rather than a thick emulsion. I ate all of mine because we were both famished, but it was primarily necessity rather than enjoyment. All of this time the manager is nowhere to be seen. The restaurant is being run by apathetic teenagers-tweenagers. I had to ask for the manager specifically to be able to tell him about the restaurant's flaws. He responded by discounting our order significantly, which was not what I was wanting when I let him know how they messed up. I only wanted to let him know how to improve. Certainly, this was a gesture of good faith. However, even after the discount, we won't be going back, likely to any of their locations.

Holy cow! This restaurant is incredible! The pretzel bites are immaculate. I legitimately began crying because they taste so good. The goopy cheese is an amazing compliment to the salty pretzels. I can't even begin to describe how my taste buds feel right now. The Mac Burger with Mac n cheese bites, and marinara is the perfect culinary creation. I will be coming back here soon. I would recommend that you do the same.

Rock Barn or The Crescent Farm Historical Center was built in 1906 and according to The Cherokee…read moreCounty Historical Society it is believed to be the only surviving Rock barn in existence. It's one of six places in Cherokee county listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It's next to the Canton Elementary School and Cherokee High School. There is a Bruster's Ice Cream nearby. From the outside it's got this modern industrial rustic cool vibe to it....now don't take this the wrong way but as a Walking Dead fan... the entire time I was here I felt like Darrell in that scene where he first discovers Hershel and his family have been keeping "walkers" inside the barn on the property.... So now that I've put visuals in your head of zombies...lets talk about this place as an event venue....first off the place can be rented for events, weddings and sorts. You do have to be a member of The Cherokee Historical Society and their membership is about $25.00 for an individual...which I'm all for because these guys really work hard to promote and preserve buildings of the past. The rental fees are on their website but it looks very reasonable. From $300 to $1200 depending on what day you want to rent it... Even if you don't rent it personally I think it's a cool looking barn and not a bad place for a photo opt....Walking Dead style....

I know 3 who have this location reserved with deposits for their upcoming weddings and they all have the same issue. No response to important questions or requests. Something as simple as providing the contract and receipt of down payment for which the bride was told she would receive "immediately". That was more than 2 weeks ago. Beware, if you want a no stress venue, this may not be it. The complete lack of communication will undoubtedly cause issue's for your planning and a ton of unecessary stress.

But if you're looking to have an event here, they do offer tours so check out their site for availability. Parking: The parking available on the venue is on gravel. Vibe: The flowers and greenery around the entire venue were beautiful. I loved how seamless the venue, bridal suite, and reception area flowed. The bridal suite is so big and has a large kitchen area with a fridge; a living room area with a couch and several chairs; a bathroom with a shower; a room that was used for hair & make up; and a front and back porch. The main venue space has a downstairs space that was used as both the reception area and the dance floor. I enjoyed celebrating my friends at this beautiful spot! I think it would be a great spot for weddings, vow renewals, and/or other large events.

She was rude and dismissive when she finally came to check on the event. Here are something's that needed improvement. Spiders were inside and outside on the corners. The event space needed a thorough cleaning, with the exception of the restrooms. The grass was full of weeds. The building needs to be pressure washed. A tree had fallen and we could not use one of the entrances. Things that were great, waiters/waitresses, clean up crew and the valet. For the money paid, this would not be a venue that I would use in the future.
