Great service and great food it was nice to finally find a place to eat where I enjoyed the food

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our experience here. My family and I came to celebrate my son's 14th birthday because he wanted crab legs. We did bring a large cake for after dinner to celebrate, and they were nice and took it to the back for us. But after ordering, we waited for 1 hour before we got our food. Only a party of 6 and the restaurant was extremely slow. The food was good though. But we were kinda surprised it took so long. We never got any refills, never were checked on. After we finished eating, we were asked if we were ready for checks and at that time we asked if we could have the cake brought out, to which she agreed. Not once did a plate get taken to clear the table, drinks visibly empty, we weren't afraid to ask but she was gone so quickly we didn't get a chance to. We get the cake and I'm trying to make a spot on the table to set it down, mind you my son got crab legs so there is a bit of a mess, understandably. She clearly did not care and dropped the cake off and left. But 20 mins before another table got happy birthday sung to them? It was just a really strange experience and wish we would've spent our money elsewhere. read more

I spent 20 minutes of my lunch hour to get food that was suppose to be ready at 12:07. When my food was brought out the waiter had a tray of drinks for another table. So I apparently waited on my order while he filled drinks for someone else. To me that's pretty lazy to not bring my order out and then go fill another. And they weren't even busy inside the restaurant, not to mention 3 other servers stopped to ask me if I was waited on. He could of easily asked someone else to bring it out. My server Navesia was an amazing she got me sat and served as soon as I walked in. She also got my food out and great. She had an outstanding way to make sure I was amazed with my dinner and make sure I was restocked on drinks and biscuits. Came here on my last day of my trip for lunch. We were sat near the bar. The server was really nice. The first drink I ordered was a rum punch. I do NOT recommend it. It tasted like Delsyn Cough syrup. I had it replaced with a Tito's strawberry lemonade vodka and it was SO much better. I think the only thing that bothered me is they didn't have a dish that served both crab legs and lobster. So I ended up not even getting what I wanted. I was stuck getting the shrimp two for deal. It was grilled shrimp and I ordered the crispy brussel sprouts and it came with rice. That was all very good. My friend ordered some kind of chicken deal. And then his friend just had a drink and the cheddar baby biscuits. They were both teasing me because I'm from Florida and they say that their seafood does not taste good like mine. Honestly since I only had shrimp I couldn't really give an answer. I just know that most of the Red Lobsters around me closed and I wanted to check it out before I left. read more

A good representation of the franchise. The dining room was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the use of fabrics in the booths and carpeting and made for a cozy and welcoming setting in contrast to the harsh, cold, and modern styles of glass walls and polished concrete floors. Service was friendly and attentive, although one employee was a bit clueless and set down another patron's old messy plate on our table while stopping by on one visit. It was a bit revolting, but other than that one faux pas service was great. The food was very good and I had the Endless Shrimp so I could sample a few different types. I had popcorn, dragon, and butterflied shrimp. All were crispy and fresh with the crust a bit on the thick side, but not overly so. The dragon shrimp had a nice kick and was my favorite with the butterflied being next. My side of French Fries, while not very crispy, were tasty and nicely cooked and I enjoyed them. My wife had the Sesame-Soy Salmon Bowl and enjoyed it. And as always, the Cheddar biscuits were fantastic. read more

We ordered the stuffed mushrooms right off and they were awesome as always. We both tried the 3-Course Shrimp Sensation and it was delicious. We both choose clam chowder & Scampi is my favorite so of course I had that, we had the shrimp cocktail & coconut shrimp and baked potatoes and cheddar biscuits. Everything was good (only reason I did not award 5 stars is the cheddar biscuits were not hot but the rest of the food was. It's been a couple years since we ate there, but it used to be our favorite place specially for our anniversary. We hadn't been back in for a while and didn't know what to expect but we're extremely pleased with what we found. Diamond our server gave us outstanding service particularly since my wife is gluten-free. My personal favorite from 1971, the fried flounder was not on the menu, but we found out that they could still prepare it for us and did and it was absolutely excellent. I ordered the lobster flatbread to take home for lunch on a trial basis and took one piece and found out that it was superb. The salads were huge and, full of stuff and clean and good quality vegetables. The whole place was clean as a whistle. We really love the ambience. I have been in many red lobsters where the restaurants were designed pretty much all the same and were rather dark and unwelcoming, but this one is by far my favorite out of the chains. With some of the nearby red lobster chains closing down, we are glad to see this particular restaurant still open and hope it stays open for many years to come. read more

First off, the food was delicious. We had raw oysters for an appetizer. They were large and fresh. I had fish and chips and my wife skewered shrimp and scallops. The fish was light and cooked perfectly. The slight negative. When we walked in, the hostess told us we could not have a booth, as they were all "occupied". Walking through the dining room to our table, it was clearly obvious that plenty of booths were available! There were some booths yet to be cleaned.. but many open. We're figuring they were just short staffed and didn't fuss. Maybe "occupied" isn't the correct verbiage to be used.. needs tweaking. Wait Service was a little slow but polite and knowledgeable of the food It was 3:00 in the afternoon, so maybe they were light on staff. But the food saved the day! read more

I hadn't been to Red Lobster Canton, Ga in awhile . It was always a treat to go there. I don't know what has happened. I went in and No one was at door to greet. It was awhile before getting seated. When our food arrived the food was hard and over cooked. The hush puppies were dark, hard and taste burnt. The potato was too small and was not that good. I was so surprised because I remembered it one time it being a great place to eat. I don't plan to return. read more

Hands down some of the SLOWEST service I've experienced. It a near empty restaurant. Went to dinner tonight and arrived just after 5pm - after over 2 hours we were finally able to break free. After a 15 minute wait for just our drinks we finally received them with cold biscuits and left over food on one of the plates. After what seemed like another excruciatingly long wait we were able to place our order....only to then painfully wait again. The food came out hot, so that was a plus. Despite the overly watery kids mac n cheese our son plowed through it - so also a plus. Not once were we asked if we needed refills. By the time we were checked on to see how the food was - we were near done. The one item we did ask for (biscuits) were never brought out. We definitely won't be back for a while - if at all. I cook almost every meal at home, and occasionally want a break however, I'm over paying increased prices in a restaurant for terrible "service." read more

My husband and I decided to go to Red Lobster in Canton, Ga for dinner on January 21, 2024. This outing was considered a treat for us, as we generally prepare and eat the majority of our meals at home. However, we absolutely love their "all you care to eat Shrimpfest". We were NOT really surprised to see on their menu that the price per plate had increased from $20 to $25 since we had last eaten there just a few weeks prior. After all, the price for a lot of goods and services have seen significant increases in recent months. The increase did not deter us, and we enjoyed our meal immensely. Our waiter was very attentive, and we tipped him well. At 74 years old, we find using the machine at our table to pay our bill a little difficult which is likely why we didn't notice the $1.99 "up-charge" on our bill for my standard green salad. That's right. The Shrimpfest meal comes with "one side dish" per their menu. However, as I'm reviewing my receipt today, I feel violated to find that my side salad is now deemed by Red Lobster to be a "premium" side, thus carrying an up-charge. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? A full head of lettuce at Publix next door was less than $2.00. Why say on your menu that a meal includes one side dish, then bill me an up-charge for something I clearly thought was included in the $25 charge for my meal? Heaven help us all. No more Red Lie-ster for us. Keep your lousy rewards program. Have a real human being process our payment. Next you will be billing me for extra napkins and making me bus my own table. Incidentally, the crack that ran down the full length of our table was packed full of crumbs. I actually used my table knife and dug out a good teaspoon full of crumbs from that crack. It was extremely unappetizing to realize that food from prior diners is raked into the crack until it can hold no more. Be forewarned, diners. Basic beverages add about 20-25% to your tab. Alcohol significantly more. Then there's desert, and now a premium charge for SALAD. I almost forgot.... My husband originally asked for a salad with 1,000 Island dressing as his side. He ended up with a baked potato after being told the kitchen had run out of 1,000 Island dressing. Thank goodness for small favors! read more

This is your typical Red Lobster with cheddar biscuits and seafood. They offer Togo, sit down, outside seating, and bar service. We frequent here often when we have gift cards as it's a little expensive for a family to eat here. I'm not a big seafood fan and find their chicken tacos one of the best and tastiest dishes on the menu. My mom likes the tasting plates a lot then the rest of our family enjoy the different shrimp options. Service is usually friendly here and somewhat efficient. read more

Hit or miss...inconsistent to say the least...went in about three weeks ago, sat at the bar...food was good but slow coming out of the kitchen...went in on 11/12, again sat at the bar...food came out quickly but my grilled trout was undercooked, didn't eat it, baked potato cold, ask for butter and sour cream on the side...nope, it was on the potato...bartenders are friendly but overworked, they not only work the bar but also tables. Several things went wrong with our visit, unfortunately. We specifically came in to enjoy several of the lobster fest specials found on the menu. First up was the Spinach, Artichoke Dip topped with Lobster. It was just horribly salty, the "sauce" hardly had any artichokes or spinach in it, the sauce was a cheesy goop of mystery, the lobster was not fresh, over-cooked and rubbery. The chips served with the dip were equally salty. Since this was the appetizer, immediately I knew I was going to have an issue with my meal since I had ordered the Stuffed Flounder Topped with (yes you guessed it) LOBSTER. The flounder was smothered in this horribly salty sauce. The flounder was not fresh. As I explained to our waiter the travesty of my food, I compared my meal to a microwaved, hospital cafeteria meal. The flounder was so soggy. As expected, the lobster on top was over-cooked and the "stuffing" was just confusing in flavor and texture. Our waiter, Austin, was very kind in seeking the Manager to have my meal removed from my bill. I then ordered shrimp scampi. The shrimp were, again, over-cooked. But, I was starving so I ate a couple of the shrimp scampi. Not impressed. I had a birthday reward and did not use it because my meal was so terrible. Yes, I was here for a birthday dinner. You can imagine how sad this dinner was. Not a celebration at all. It is clear they are working on a skeleton staff. I asked three times for a water refill and ended up asking the hostess. I needed a lot of water because my meal was so salty, even though I only had three to four bites (if that gives you any indication). Our waiter, Austin was a very kind and attentive waiter but did seem to disappear for 15 minutes right after our meal came to the table. By the time we asked the Hostess to ask him to come to our table, my husband had completely finished his meal and I was sitting there needed a replacement entree. The bartender on this evening (Wednesday, April 12, 2022) was having a great time with a group of ladies talking loud, joking and being obnoxious with the patrons that were enjoying happy hour. It would have been nice to have a quiet meal but the bartender and his "lady groupies" were too busy partying it up. The Manager was in the house but we never saw him/ or her. Even with the problems at our table, a Manager never came over. Not the customer service expected from Red Lobster. Something to note is that the Crispy Brussels Sprout are actually deep fried and are not a healthy option as a side. Our order of Brussels Sprouts were just terrible also, smothered in a balsamic sauce and again, over salted. My broccoli was also over-cooked. How? My husband did enjoy his steak but my seafood, which Red Lobster is known for, was extremely disappointing. Our bill total was over $50. A waste of time and money. read more

I've been here a few times. It's always been mediocre at best. My daughter wanted to come here for her birthday. The service was not great. The hostess hemmed and hawed on where to seat us. We had to ask for biscuits after our appetizer came. Is that a thing now? You have to ask for them? The salads were tiny. The clam strips were way over cooked and chewy. And strips is an exaggeration. More like popcorn clam pieces. The stuffed mushrooms weren't soft. They were hard as rocks. What bothered me most was out meals didn't come out at the same time. One lobster tail was cold to touch and one was hot. I asked for some lemons, because we were not given a single one, and it took so long for such a simple request we just started eating without it. I would stay away from any dish with rock lobster. It tasted like the bottom of the absolute bottom of a barrel. Also stay away from the bloody Mary's. They claim it's a signature cocktail but it was the worst one I've had eating out. I couldn't even finish it. So avoid this location if you can. read more

This was a thoroughly disappointing experience. We arrived for dinner with the soon-to-be mother-in-law. We were seated immediately, but I had this weird notion that our server was always in a rush, even though the restaurant wasn't over-full. But that wasn't even the disappointing part. The Lobster Roll deserves less than one star. It was a complete insult to all things lobster or roll. The meat was lacking, and it had a weird flavor that over-powered any of what was supposed to be lobster meat to begin with. It was as if someone said, "Here, take all these lobster scraps and throw them in there, toss them with about a quart of this sauce that I'm not even sure is prepared correctly, and just go ahead and serve it." It was awful. The dish comes with two rolls and a side. One roll went un-eaten. My endless shrimp was okay. I had some shrimp skewers (Mediterranean) and the Shrimp Linguini Alfredo. Served with some broccoli that were undercooked. The Mediterranean shrimps were tasty. But the alfredo was not alfredo. What they served was more of a glorified mac & cheese with some shrimp thrown in. Not what I was expecting. My overriding thought throughout my meal was: I know where to get better shrimp for less. And that is simply one hell of an indictment for any business. read more

Don't order thru any form of delivery service thru them. Tonight we got half of our order completely wrong, can't blame that on a Uber driver we called to let them know our order was wrong... just to see if they would offer for us to come get our order ever if we had to pick it up ourself and they completely blew us off. Sorry, was all they had to say and acted like we were a burden to call. We spent $80+ dollars and they could care less for a cold meal that was only half correct, blamed the Uber driver for it being cold even though we could see he picked it up on time. The last time we dined in a few weeks ago they only had 3 servers for the entire restaurant so we aren't surprised unfortunately at the service. Not the place to go if you want Maine-style lobster or light/healthy fare. We split a shrimp and lobster entree, and the shrimp were small and totally drenched in a cream-butter-salty mixture. The lobster tail was also small and oily. Not worth the $15. Service was excellent, though, but I had been to Maine last summer and really wanted lobster! The "real" lobster was $27.
