From the Art on the walls, to the chair socks on the feet of the chairs, you knew that care was put into everything. 3. It is truly a family run business as every employee seemed to be connected in one way. The owners, Jeanne and Julie stopped by to ask how we were enjoying our meal, and a quick stop turned into a 10 minute conversation about their history and passion of this business. I had the Pork Belly toast (Braised Pork Belly, Soft Scrambled eggs, arugula, and gochujang mayo on a really good Sourdough toast). Not greasy or gamey, and just large enough to have for lunch. To drink it was the Iced Hojicha Latte. I added some sweetener which balanced out the earthiness of Hojicha. My wife had the OG Bibimbap with Beef and Purple Rice (Purple rice FTW). She then ordered biscuits and gravy as a replacement, and that was just as bad. The biscuit was dry and hard, and the gravy tasted like it came straight out of a can. And yes -- they charged us for that too. My omelette wasn't any better. Poorly cooked, barely any ingredients, and underwhelming across the board. Charging customers for food that is sent back due to poor quality, combined with zero management presence, is unacceptable. This wasn't just a bad meal -- it was a complete failure in both food quality and basic customer service. Avoid this place if you expect even average breakfast or any level of accountability.
