Wonderful experience every time! Delicious food, happy talented chefs.... Sometimes they can be a little slow on the drink orders but otherwise quite a lovely dinner show. The new bar is beautiful

Always love going to Shogun. We frequently eat here. My go to is the Filet and Colossal shrimp. My last visit I chose the Wagyu Rib Eye and Colossal Shrimp. I also love the butter cake, it is a must. Enjoy the selection of Japanese beer and Saki. Sometimes it takes a while to get your drinks from the bar so make sure to get the bar orders in early. The show is always entertaining and they have a large selection of combinations.

We had a great experience at the Shogun tonight. Our Tap pan Grill chef was Limber. I took his name down because I had colossal Shrimp and they were perfectly cooked. My husband and I ended up with so much shrimp as the people that were on the table didn't eat shrimp at all so we got all their shrimp appetizer. We have dinner now for another day.

We have been enjoying Shogun for 15+ years. We have been there twice in the last month to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday . We could have chosen other restaurants but know we always get really great food and service at Shogun. They remodeled over the last year, sparing no expense. Frankly, there is no comparison to Benihanna. Shogun is a far better choice. The chefs at Shogun are outstanding provide exceptional entertainment and really delicious food. The staff is always welcoming and efficient. We can hardly wait for our next visit.

Great experience, first time at this particular location! Our chef was funny and kind! We came in mid day during week and it was super slow which was great for us! Our food was cooked to perfection and our servers suggestion of sushi was AMAZING! We will definitely be back. Only con: the hostess was not there at the moment, a gentleman helped us and he was terribly rude. I'm glad the rest of the experience was great!

She was the best server ever!

I went with my family and ordered the special wagyu combo & ordered beer and the show was fun! I loved my fried rice, normally I don't eat fried rice but this time I loved it, it was amazing & the decor here was so pretty! I'd def return here soon! I got the wagyu beef and it was so worth it! The shrimp or something came out bit salty so I let the chef know and he immediately fixed it Lol Chef def was knowledgeable and the music was great! One thing that stood out the best was our server in the picture! She was super knowledgeable and helpful when choosing our menu (we went for the highest, if not we would've been lost) & I'm so glad that we took her recommendation. She was friendly and best server I've experienced! Please give her a promotion!

Decent. Nothing special. TERRIBLE dumplings. SUPER loud. May eventually go back, as I've heard the others in the area are even worse.

My man spoiled me beyond measure, we got the Tomahawk, bone in family style, it only came with asparagus and mash for... $198. I really wanted the steak and I love a good bone in steak. For this price, they could do better with the sides, I mean, asparagus and potatoes aren't that much and especially in bulk. In my opinion m, these sides do not match the overall esthetic of the restaurant. The sides should be way better! Although they were good we wouldn't spend the money again. We also got bread, it wasn't good, it was just too much of a different variety and they should give free bread and make you pay for that kind of bread basket. The wedge salad was amazing!!! I could have just ate that, no joke, it's so good. The Mac n cheese was definitely a great choice! It was so bomb! Get the mac n cheese I also loved my waitress and should have gotten her name! This place is great for their employees bc they're not overworked, well it seemed as if they were not and many people helped out with our table collectively! Five stars for that! That also creates a happier environment for employees. Overall I would come back here, especially bc it's located inside of Pechanga, the food is great, and the customer service is top tier. I just wouldn't get that tomahawk and wouldn't get so much but could have the Mac n cheese with a salad for dinner or just a steak. 10 out of 10! Oh and the waitress said you really don't need sides for the steak, they have lots of side/sauce options but they served the steak with a house made A1 and it's so damn goooood haha

Greeted at the door upon arrival and because we were mid-afternoon diners, we were seated quickly by a friendly host. Fish, chicken, steak, pork all available, including salads. We went withe the shrimp appetizer, and were we surprised when the portion was HUGE! Certainly shareable among more than just two diners, and they were really good. We went for the ribs, we were in a mood for barbecue, and they did not disappoint. Tender, flavorful, meaty and messy, exactly how they should be. A small dinner salad and delicious warm bread is included, but save room for the main course. Prices were fair and reasonable. The floors were noticeably messy, some might even say gross. There were random spills that clearly had not been wiped up, and even the bathrooms were bad. Should we really be able to see a plunger and a dirty toilet brush while washing our hands? Service-wise, our waitress was nice, but overall it was slow. We waited a long time for our first round of drinks, and when the food finally came out, it was not even hot, which made it even more frustrating. The food itself did not live up to the price. The "tempura" artichoke hearts were basically just heavily breaded and fried, not light or crispy like you would expect or like the menu suggests. The charcuterie board, which was over $50, was kind of shocking. It looked like a random mix of deli meats, basic cheeses, canned fruit, and filler. Nothing felt special or worth the price. It looks amazing, but do not be fooled by what you see around you. You are better off spending $25 at Trader Joe's. The ribeye was wildly underwhelming. If I wanted a steak I could buy at Food 4 Less and grill in the park, I would do it myself. The chicken somehow managed to be even worse, dry and lacking flavor. Lemon and capers, where? Overall, it felt overpriced and poorly executed. Between the cleanliness issues, the long wait, and the disappointing food, it is easy to say it is definitely not worth your time. Check out the Gambling Cowboy instead. This is a no brainer when you read the replies from the owner to any negative feedback. If an establishment feels the need to defend itself in such an unprofessional manner, that tells you everything you need to know about taking your money elsewhere. No ownership, just blame. Nobody is out here writing reviews to ruin your business, you are doing that well enough on your own. "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."

The minute you walked in, the ambiance just wasn't it. Perhaps because we were the only minorities there and everyone else wasn't (including the staff) but it was uncomfortable having people stare at us while we were eating and having our own conversations. Someone came to get our drink order and then it took a bit of time for our actual waiter Leila to come take our order. She did mention she was doing something else. we ordered the steak and frites and their pork chop which was the special of the day. I ordered my steak medium rare and the rest of the table ordered it in medium. When the steaks came out, the waiters seem confused as if they weren't sure which plates went where and when asked if that's a medium rare steak, they stated yes. That steak was medium and it was also dry and under seasoned. It was also tough and chewy. The fries were either undercooked or overcooked. Chimichurri sauce had no flavor to it. We did also order the cedar salad which was delicious. Their calamari and wings were as well. At the end of the night, Leila asked our friend how he liked his steak because it didn't seem like he ate anything. He said it was okay and she kept insisting you can be honest and kept pushing the matter. This was extremely uncomfortable because there was no need to make him feel like he was put on the spot. while I understand the need to want feedback, if your guest says it's okay and seem uncomfortable, maybe leave it at that. She then came over to me and asked about my steak and again saying, "you can be honest." Why wouldn't I be? I did tell her the steak was cooked incorrectly, that was not a medium steak and pointed out that it was dry. There was this awkward silence at the table because honestly there wasn't a need to keep pushing. Simply asking how was it would have suffice. They did end up comping my steak which was nice of them however the entire experience just wasn't pleasant. From the ambiance, to the crowd, to the food - wasn't worth it.
