This was the best experience I've had here! We've never had Johnny before, but he was the BEST chef we've ever had here! He uses fresh garlic, and OMG the smell of garlic is so soothing! My parents don't care for the show, and he didn't do the show with the lights and music. My dad appreciated it because when we go out for dinner as a family, he likes to talk and interact with us. So without having the chef interfere was nice! We eat here at least once or twice a month because the food is SO good! read more

Went in to celebrate my birthday with my family. Had a reservation for 6:30. We were seated on time but waited over an hour before at our table for a chef to come. During this time everyone at our table was absolutely freezing. No one ever came to check on us the entire time we waited. Finally, a chef arrives only to start cooking for the table next to us that was seated after us! Once our chef arrived he was not entertaining at all, and burned all of our food. He burned the eggs for the fried rice, burned the rice, my mom and I both ordered the tuna steak. It was so over cooked and dry you couldn't even eat it. He didn't cook enough vegetables for the table and my son literally had a small serving of onions. I was really looking forward to a great birthday dinner only to be completely let down by this restaurant. I don't know that we will be going back here ever. read more

This place fashions itself to be a second rate benihana therefore the atmosphere and ambience is considerably lacking. The food is decent and the drinks are strong but over all it's not worth the price tag If you want the benihana experience then I would suggest going to the authentic restaurant this one is just a poor rendition. read more

No thanks. We waited forever for our table even with reservations. Three rather unprofessional girls at the hostess station acted like they were in a gossip session in high school. In addition, the lobby is not that clean. First impressions .... The waitress announced our "birthday" reservation like we were at Disneyland. The cook took forever to come to the table. When he finally arrived, he turned on his loud music, which was an iphone attached to a portable speaker sitting on his cart. The whole time he was at the grill, he did not bother to speak to anyone at the table. No interaction? Mediocre cook who kept greasing up the food when he was cooking it. I think he was covering the very poor quality food. I ate 1/4th of my ribeye plate and gave up. So sorry we decided to go here on a friend's recommendation. We won't be back. read more

My first time here with the family, location is great and atmosphere is nice. Hostess greeted us with a smile and hello and wait times were maybe 10-15mins not bad for a busy Sunday night. Food came out within 15mins and it was super hot and fresh no complaints there, reason for the 4/5 stars is because i ordered the teppan-Yaki steak and shrimp as I've done at many other places and the portions were a little on the slim side for the money, other than that the food was great and the servers really nice. read more

We went in on Saturday and sat at the grill. Food was great but it was extremely warm. It was hot outside and almost seemed just as warm inside. It made for an uncomfortable experience. I was there back in November with my family celebrating my son's birthday and do not remember it being this bothersome. I didn't know the others at the table with us but they were just as uncomfortable. Maybe consider lowering the AC a tad more. I will be back though as food is worth it. read more

Went there last night. Waitress was awesome and chef was great but when one of our guest who came here from Florida to celebrate Christmas with us got his drink. He spit a lot of it up and said he swallowed something that wasn't ice. He then looked at what he spit up and it was a piece of glass. He ended up swallowing a few small pieces. Turns out the glass was cracked all the way down the side. I can only imagine if it was a bigger piece. He wasn't trying to cause a scene so we tried our best to blow it off and just talked to management. But this could've been a serious incident. They ended up comping his meal but I wish they would've came out and apologized or at least made more of an effort to assure us this wouldn't happen again. We where not trying to get a free meal or even trying to complain because accidents happen. But glass in a cup served to customers is ridiculous. I would never go there again. And would never recommend this place to anyone I know. read more

Always a great place to visit. Be sure to stop by the bar area and get a creative drink from a great bartender(Taylor) and if the restaurant/grill is too busy you can always dine at the bar in a relaxed atmosphere. When you venture to the Teppan grill area try to request Lovely as your waitress, she will make sure that you have a wonderful night every time. They have several top notch chefs but Johnny is one of our favorites. read more

Our chef Harry was amazing he had an amazing personality. My family and I do hibachi dinners all the time and aren't really impressed by the same "heart beat" and "volcano" tricks anymore. This is my favorite restaurant for celebrations and for fun date nights. Sometimes the wait can be a little long, but I've never had a bad meal or a bad experience here. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is wonderful, and the chefs are incredibly talented. The only recommendation I have is that they start a rewards program because it is a bit pricy and I can't eat here as often as I'd like to. read more

I went on a Sunday. This is important as you read further down. The chef, "Mr. Thanh" wasn't very entertaining. He didn't say much either. I'm guessing he didn't know a whole lot of English, but that shouldn't matter. The guy behind him, "Kris" was putting on a show for his group of people. I kept looking over at the other table instead of mine. Mr. Thanh was also a slow cooker and cooked one order at a time. I was not impressed with him at all. The waitress, "Rebecca" made a couple of minor mistakes on my order, but not a deal breaker. The biggest issue I had with her was her lack of familiarity with the menu. I ordered from the "Customer Appreciation Dinner Menu" where it specifically say, " with a complementary steam rice, brown rice, or fried rice." I ordered brown rice. When I get the bill Rebecca charged me $2.50 extra for brown rice. I told her that the Customer Appreciation Dinner Menu said it's included. She stated it was only steam and fried rice. I didn't argue the point and didn't want to stay there any longer than I had to so I proceeded to the exit. The hostesses had the menu so I asked to see it and I was correct. I told the hostesses the situation and waited for a couple of seconds and they didn't respond. As I walked away I told them their waitresses should know what's printed in their menu. If it wasn't important enough to them to correct the mistake then I would rather give them a poor rating for service. read more

We hard our meal in the table side so no show for us, but my food was very subpar. The vegetables were undercooked and the rice especially is usually a big highlight for me, but it tasted super bland and soggy. My husband on the other hand had a delicious meal. We were very impressed with our waitress, she was funny, engaging, and very knowledgeable about the food. She gave insights and descriptions on 2 separate meals my husband was considering and she sold up on a hotpot that he fell in love with. I think the waitress's name was Kaylee or Haylee, but she turned the experience from 2 stars to 3. Also there was a manager I think, just standing at an empty table just watching the game for a solid 30min, not walking around or looking at patrons at all. read more

Very disappointed. It was very fun 3 years ago when we went, but this time we went for a birthday and it was sub-par from the beginning. One person in our party had to be there 2 hours early b/c they wouldn't take a reservation and they wouldn't seat us until EVERYONE was there. They forgot several of our drinks, the chef just cooked-zero show, and as soon as he finished cooking and walked away, they brought us boxes & checks and we hadn't even eaten yet. We had nowhere to put boxes & felt like we were being rushed out. We don't need to sit in front of a 500° grill in the summer just to watch someone cook. It was very disappointing. Everything was delicious and the food came out fast. People need to stop complaining so much about restaurants in a post-Covid America. What I expected and what we got were two different things. First off, our group came in at 7:00 Pm on a Tuesday and were promptly seated. Since this was my 1st time, I was happy to be there. Now, the restaurant was a little dirty. There was a toothpick/ dental floss under my chair when I sat down. The table was sticky, the gal who took our drink order was swamped and forgot to bring sweetener for my tea. When the chef stepped in, we went through his routine of flipping his spatulas as if it was a hassle. The food was good and prepared well, but the chef lacked any enthusiasm for the job. I guess I expected to be entertained like the table across from us. Finally, when we went to pay, they refused our coupons because we had gift cards. Gift cards given by someone to us as a gift. They said since the gift cards were discounted, the could not accept a coupon for $5 off. WOW, pathetic. Then they would not allow me to use the remainder of the gift card as part of the tip. I've never heard of this. So, my first experience was not that great, and the food was sub par. I go to restaurants for the food, and this was Panda Express just cooked in front of you. Boring cook, dirty restaurant and hassle to use the gift cards equal one less customer. I will never eat there again. I hope you have a better experience. read more

Been here twice now. Both times we have enjoyed the food very much! Fried rice is super bomb and fresh and made right in front of you. The steaks are really good quality and have good flavor but the shrimp will leave an awesome flavor on your pallet. My daughter loves coming here as well one of the only places she'll stay off the phone for the entire meal! read more

This place isn't super clean so a big minus for me. As you walk in and look down at the strip of blue dyed water in their fake pond with trash/drink umbrellas floating around you get the impression they are not big on the details to put it mildly. The food was nothing exciting quality or taste wise. This is a run of the mill place with horrible music blasting the whole time. I think they think if they blast crappie muzak and serve a few drinks you all of the sudden have a festive atmosphere. Sadly that is not the case. We wanted to have a nice lunch in a clean Japanese hibachi setting. What we received was mediocre food with a chef who cranked up his blue tooth speaker with The Final Countdown and then added a laser light show which made a few dizzy... and still had the crappy muzak jamming in the background. Most of us had the ribeye with scallops and fried rice. I could see the point of the chef jamming with his music and light show if we were all having drinks and this was a late night event but older folks at lunch time with hot tea? No thanks. I see no reason to return any time soon. I will say they were very attentive to the gluten sensitive person in our party so they get an extra star. read more

Food was ok, not bad but definitely not worth bragging about. Came here for a birthday dinner, specifically requested a grill for the Show. The menus were very dirty they must not clean them. It was a Very very Disappointing show, a soy sauce joke and a onion volcano. Other than that no talking, nothing. Search for somewhere else if you're looking for a great show with dinner. Wasn't just our table either. We were sitting at our grill for over an hour before our chef came to the table. We had plenty of time to watch. Also, WARNING! They up-sell everything without telling you, drinks brought in souvenir cups (additional $5 each) that guests did not ask for. And a $21 up sell for chicken in the fried rice. When he put it on the grill it was maybe 1 cup of chicken. $21 for a cup of chicken? This place is surviving off of outrageous hidden up-sells. read more
