I sent my husband the twenty minute drive down to zettlers and he purchased a can of DoIt spray paint. The can would not spray no matter what we did to try to find a resolution. So I sent my husband back today to exchange it for another can and the manager (Jordan) refused. He fiddled with it for a few minutes and was able to get it to spray. My husband understanding how important this project was for me to get it finished today, went ahead and purchased another can of paint ($17) because he knew if he came home and I couldn't use the original can of paint I was going to be upset. So when my husband got home and explained the situation I was dumbfounded. I called the store and talked to Jordan who again refused to exchange the can of paint. He basically said there's no way he could resell it so he wasn't taking the loss. He ssmaid he was able to get the can working. I tried to use the can and it took everything i had to make our spray. He also told me that the owner Mike would tell me the same thing and that the owner would also not exchange the can of paint. Now I know from experience working in customer service that the last thing a manager should do when you have an upset customer is to tell the customer that the owner would not do anything different. The last thing a manager should do is to not find a resolution for the customer. A simple exchange was all we wanted. Instead we are out over 2 hours plus the$5 can of paint that basically went in the trash and the additional $17 we spent for a working can of paint. Beyond disappointed. The teenagers that work at this store always treat is with respect, Jordan could take some lessons.

Yesterday afternoon I purchased $145.+ of merchandise that included two "Yeti" brand, insulated metal cups marked as $21. each. This price was less than I had seen elsewhere. When I arrived home two hours later, I noticed the receipt reflected I had been charged $25. for each cup. I called the store and spoke to (I believe) the same employee that had checked me out. They confirmed the $21. displayed price. Today I drove back to Powell to clear this up before it became dated. The clerk and manager became involved, explaining the displayed price was incorrect. I didn't expect to get a free cup, or anything. Given I called a couple hours after the purchase to confirm the displayed price, drove back to Powell this afternoon to be told, "That shouldn't have happened," no apology, no offer to get one cup at the displayed price of $21, and pay $25 for the other...nothing. It's not that I couldn't afford to pay the additional $8., it was the lack of consideration for the effort, time and distance that irritated me. I returned both items and will get them somewhere else for $25., or more. I've been shopping at Zettler Hardware for four years. Prices are generally higher, but I feel it's worth it because of (usually) better customer service. Zettler, you can do better.

I am writing this email to express my deepest disappointment in Sherman-Williams. My name is Shay…read moreAbusido and I am the co-owner of Columbus Luxury Remodeling LLC. On Saturday February 3rd of 2024 I sent in one of my contractors to the Sawmill, Ohio location and he purchased $461 of primer and paint. He was given the wrong color and returned to the store to fix this issue. The clerk said it wasn't her fault, that the Sherman-Williams catalog is wrong and she refused to correct the problem. He was told he needed to leave or else the police would be called because he demanded she fix her mistake. The clerk then proceeded to say she felt uncomfortable and since there wasn't a manager on duty she would not do anything. Unbelievable! My contractor left the primer and color inside the store, went out to his car and called me. I proceeded to call the police myself. When the police arrived, the employee continued to blame the machine and said she wasn't authorized to fix the color or refund the product. She admitted to giving the contractor the wrong color but refused to fix the issue. For many years I have been sending my contractors and sub contractors to Sherman-Williams for all our paint needs. My company, my contractors and sub contractors are all extremely disappointed at the way this was handled. There is no excuse for this kind of outrageous treatment of a paying customer. I demand a refund and an explanation! Something must be done to resolve this issue and to make sure it doesn't happening to anyone else. I thought the store was clean and well-arranged. This was my first visit to any At Home store, and…read moreI have a few observations and suggestions. First, the checkout process was arduous. The one line winds you around and around until you stop at a place where you wait for one of the cashiers to call out that you are next. True, TJMaxx has a similar line, but at least they have an indicator that tells you which cashier you can go to. Depending on how busy the store is, you could be in the checkout line longer than the time you spent actually shopping.

Let's start from the…read morebeginning, where I found a dining room table that I was interested in purchasing, as a looked for an associate there is one right next to me with a scanner so I took over the information for her to scan to tell me where on the shelves I could find the item boxed up. She pointed out that the display table was the only one remaining. As I noticed a huge scratch crossed it I ask if there was a discount due to it being damaged. She informed me I needed to load the dining room table up, and take it to the front desk to ask them?!?! Are we serious? Therefore thanked her for her time and just walked away. Then through the huge store I encountered several other employees completely ignoring me, there was zero eye contact, or even a grin. Seems that the employees there are extremely miserable. What's up for the gentleman at the register which was very cheery, however, he didn't wrap my breakables OR offer me a bag for my items??? Oh, and the restrooms!!!! I noticed a large drip of menstrual blood right in front of the toilet.... And while washing my hands, I looked at the filth splattered up and down the walls, the baseboards were completely coated in filth! Just absolutely disgusting. Walmart's bathrooms were even cleaner than this. lol I recall years back visiting the Hilliard location when it first opened and they seemed to have higher quality items than they do now. Most everything in the store is cheap. China made junk at an elevated price. I'm sticking with HomeGoods, Marshalls, and TJ Maxx. And lastly, the parking lot.... I almost didn't even go into the store because they had several large shopping carts being swept around the parking lot with the high winds. Nobody wants their cars damaged. Bottom line, rude, unhelpful employees, high prices for low quality items, filthy disgusting restrooms.
