In the parking lot looking up another tile store, a woman tapped on my window and said she could not believe how rude she had been to us. Lots of tile stores in the sea, don't tick off potential customers with a bundle to spend. Looks can be deceiving . I hope you eork on commission. read more

They don't want people of color in the store. If you are black, They Don't Want Your Business. I was there for a half hour and no one helped. The women sat or acted like they were busy on a computer, no one even bothered to ask me anything. I had to ask if they help black people, because I had been waiting to ask about some glass tile. I then put the merchandise back, That's when one of the women that were sitting asked if she could help me, and some man that I had asked if they help black people asked if he could help. This was all after a older white man came in and immediately one of the workers asked how may I help you, that's when I knew they don't like black people. Needed to remodel a bathroom and a friend recommended The Tile Shop. I found that they have a pretty good selection to choose from and our salesman Lou Nicolaidis was super helpful. He took very good care of us and even took the time to send us a hand written note thanking us for our business. I'm no tiling expert but I feel like the quality of all the products is very good and is backed with a 25 year warranty. read more

The most OVERPRICED tile store around. Just do yourself a favor and go to Floor & Decor over in Hilliard. They have just as much, if not more selection at a fraction of the cost. The tile I needed was literally 10x the price at this place. No thank you! This is a "boutique" shop that likely survives off the super rich to whom money is no object. Great thoughts from the manager on the floor. Great displays for ideas and a fairly broad selection of materials to choose from. Other help wasn't too terribly helpful and prices seem to be higher. That said, there are several high end tiles you can see in person which is a nice opportunity. read more

Decent selection but a sleazy business model. Prices are based on what the commissioned salespeople will settle for but they don't tell you this up front. There are "discounts" (from 10 to 30 percent) but they don't come up unless you haggle. Similar tile (including the negotiated discount at The Tile Shop) goes for 20% less at Menard's. Avoid this place if you're timid about negotiations. read more

Renovated master bathroom earlier this year and chose floor tile from the tile shop. So unique, such an incredibly helpful staff, and they really just have amazing selections and designers. A few months later I noticed I seem to have some sort of a shadowy line running across my brand new floor tile so I called them to ask what it could be. Andrew walked me through the whole process of getting a Mr. clean Magic eraser's and going over it, to see if it felt grainy, but you did. He said I believe you have some grout haze remaining on the floor. We have a cleaner that's really great for that I'll leave it at the front desk for you. I stopped there a few days later and sure enough it was at the front counter with my name on it. The associate asked me if I had paid for it so I told her no not yet. Then she looked at the note Andrew had taped on the bottle, with my name and a note saying "complimentary bottle". Very impressed with the Tile Shop! Our contractor told us to go here for tile. Chad made it SO easy, even though we didn't pick out anything he initially picked out for us. :-) Having worked with a few vendors, he really is at the top of the list. He even came out to our house to see what kind of space we were remodeling and had everything ready for us the next day. He had great suggestions and advice and was TERRIBLY helpful. Was looking for a tile match last week and stopped at the Tile Shop before hitting up Menards, Home Depot, Ollie's, and Discount builders supply. Compared to the four other stops on my trip they were cleaner, more modern, had better displays and great presentation of their products, and the widest selection of tile of all sizes and applications. Salesman was pleasent, courteous, knowledgeable, and did a good job of upselling without being pushy. Customer prices seems average to high but contractor prices are a lot better. While they didn't have what i was looking for I would stop here and see what they had to offer before starting another project. read more

This is my go to tile store. Their choices are endless and displays are gorgeous! I have always been met by super helpful employees that go above and beyond to make my experience a good one. Today, Leslie at the Columbus store was so amazing, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and kind that she cemented a customer for life. Tile can be a little pricey and the whole DIY aspect daunting, so to shop somewhere that specializes in and understands makes a huge difference and balances the price point. They also offer free Sat. Morning classes which is awesome! read more

Take note on service standards. Ordered tile for my bathroom project and had to return it twice due to defective tile. The first time my contractor had to return the defective tile and pick up the replacement. The replacement tile had the same defect (tile was bowed/warped). I had to replace the tile with a completely different tile from a different manufacturer. Even though the Tile Shop discounted my new purchase and delivered the tile for free, I had to return my tile on my own (additional cost to me) and I had to pay for the replacement tile before they would deliver it (a lot to ask from someone that had already spent well over $2000). As most know a bathroom project is costly and time consuming (added 2+ weeks to my project). To have to deal with the additional hassle of the added cost to my credit card and returning defective tile that was not my problem is unacceptable. The ONLY good thing about the entire experience was my sales rep, Darcy who was kind and apologetic, but unfortunately unable to get her company to see the value of stepping up and taking care of their customer. I will not be using the Tile Shop again. read more

My wife and I are remodeling a bathroom and stopped by the tile shop this weekend at the encouragement of our contractor. Our salesperson Drew could not have been more helpful. Nice selection, nice staff. Prices seem average, considering I've only been a "tile shopper" for a week.. I really liked how many displays they had set up as well. Great for brainstorming up a design even if you don't find the exact tile you need. Looked like they had a ton of special order options as well, but I didn't bother going through that stuff. read more

As a professional I go to many home service shops and The Tile Shop is one of the best! The staff there is always there to help, they can be busy some times that's why when need to working a project with dedicated sales person I always call ahead to make sure they are available. In other reviews they say they did not get noticed while there, or the sales people were too busy. They are busy, that's a good thing, schedule an appointment so that they can devote their time and attention to you. read more

We just re-modeled 2 bathrooms and our contractor told us to shop here. From the moment we walked in the door to their fabulous showroom we were impressed! From the incredible number of bathroom mock-ups to the friendly, helpful staff, we couldn't have been happier. The staff was knowledgable and easy to work with. And when we were all done with both bathrooms all the leftover tile was returned for full credit! I highly recommend this tile shop for all your bathroom or kitchen needs. read more

Was in The Tile Shop Saturday Morning, 2/16, to shop for backsplash tile. This store is in total chaos. Was looking for subway style tile and had to just wander around the store myself as they were either severely understaffed, or the salespeople just didn't care. When I found several I liked, the stock of tile below was of a totally different style, size, material, and color. NOTHING was where it should be. I would have taken several samples home if I could have found them. Found a few of my samples in a totally different area of the store, just kind of randomly placed on shelves below the displays. Nothing was marked, so I assume the salespeople would just have to guess if I brought them to the register. If this store is being reorganized, they should close to the public until it can be completed. I found nothing. Very disappointing, I will not return. There are plenty of other stores that care about customer service, not worth the trip to The Tile Shop. read more

Chad was the salesperson we were originally working with. He was wonderful, very knowledgeable and super helpful. We went back and spoke with Jennifer the store manager and found out Chad was no longer there. Jennifer did not know what she was talking about and seemed confused by our questions. Return policy was not stated when we purchased tile. Returned over $1600.00 worth of material 17 days after they said returns were allowed. Gave us gift cards which we probably have to discount to get rid of because most people will pay by credit card. read more
