New Review per 6/24/2021: Its my pleasure to update my review per my new experience with the company. It seems the owner and top management care about their customer's complaints and are willing to address issues like these. Today I was able to directly talk with the President of the company in person and he took his time to let me know that the company is already looking to future proof their methods and even ask me for my recommendation of what would I as a customer feel comfortable with for a safer transaction. I have full confidence that this company will keep growing and providing for many more customers for the better. They have remedied my concerns and have been cordial and understanding with my unfortunate experience. I have received my first few orders and will get started working on our new floors. Thank you. Old Review for transparency: The reason Im giving them a bad review is that I was told to write down all my card's info because they can't run it until Monday and this day is a Saturday. It seemed very odd that they would ask that and told me they would call me first on Monday before they run it. I waited all day Monday with no callbacks. I called them back Tuesday and was notified that they have already ran my card a while back and will call me back to let me know about my order (I never got a call back). I check my statement and show it was ran the day I came in on Saturday. Today on, Wednesday I checked my statement again and a FRAUDULENT transaction was made to Walmart.com (probably thinking its a safe bet that many people shop there, Not I, online that is). I called my credit card company to inform them about the fraud and to send me a new card. I called back America's Floor Source to ask about my order and about the fraudulent issue. I was told that I would get a call back from my sales person (I have my doubt about getting a call back. read more

We purchased LVP flooring 4 years ago. It is disintegrating, even in places no one walks, randomly throughout the 2,000 sq ft we purchased and they installed. America's FS tells us it's the manufacturer's problem, the manufacturer states the "wear layer" (clear layer over the top) is the only warranted component. Do not buy from AFS, and do not consider LVP, you'll regret it and have to have it replaced. read more

I needed the carpet removed from my stairs and replaced with hardwood because one of my cats used the carpet stairs as his scratching post. I visited America's Floor Source a couple of times, then had a conversation with one of the sales reps. I was pleased to know that there was financing available if needed and the rep agreed to come to my home to see the work I needed. She came and measured; then called and came back because she wanted to double-check the color she had chosen. That was a good thing, because in a different light, she was able to get a more accurate view of the color (we were matching what would be on the stairs to what I already have on my gound floor.) She ordered the wood and it took about a month to get in but once in, AFS called and set up the work date. I paid half of my total cost to get the wood ordered, and completed the purchase once the appointment for installation was made. I was given the date for the install and was told that the crew would be at my house between 8 and 11. They arrived right at 8. The "crew" was two men, neither of whom spoke English, but when I tell you they were professionals in the highest sense of the word, I don't do them justice. They came in, got the lay of the land, took the carpet up, and got to work, preparing the stairs and the hallway, sanding where there needed to be sanding, and letting me know the whole time what they were doing and why. They laid that hardwood with love and pride. The job took all day (they thought it would take 1/2 day) and when they were done, they totally cleaned up the work area. They took the old carpet away, swept up all dust inside the house and in the garage, where they worked, and then, as they left, reminded me to close the garage door. All of this might sound like a bit much, but I've had work done in my house in several areas, and good service as well as good workmanship has been hard to find. These guys were perfect!!!!! And the stairs/floor are gorgeous! I recommend America's Floor Source. I would use them again in a heartbeat! read more

We needed carpet removed and waterproof vinyl plank installed in a very large room with 2 built in features. They tightened up the sub floor to eliminate squeaks and installed new floor. They did a beautiful job around the builtin wardrobe and desk. Came on time, worked quickly and efficiently, cleaned up the mess and were just great. Reasonably priced too. read more

We have been in an ongoing mess with the floor source. They agreed to do the the poorly installed job again and have not. We have a giant seem in our living room that has bubbled up. The carpet looked like that day one after the installation. The hall also looks like a bad patch job.They reassured us it would be redone and sadly it has not. The Karistan carpet was installed so poorly.I waited years for new carpet and every time I look at my living room I want to cry. We are so disappointed with this company. This has been a terrible experience. I forgot to mention all of the scuffs to my banisters and walls. Also we paid for the furniture to be moved back and the installers did not. Three representatives came out the next day and were so rude. All in all would never recommend them!!! read more

We installed LVP in our kitchen, family room and entryway in December 2023. We were unhappy that the trim around doors and entrances to other rooms in our entryway left a huge gap. They tried to replace the trim with a stain that does not match and patch work molding. For the price we paid we are very disappointed in the end product, plus the fact that it took over 10 months for our concerns to be addressed. I would think twice about using America's Floor Source again. read more

I had a great experience buying my Luxury Vinyl flooring from America's Floor Source! It was a huge decision for me to get new flooring so I was a little nervous about it. Never made it to contract - just a terrible experience with Joel Wood giving us the runaround for a couple of months: disappearing, making false promises, and stringing us along. We were shocked at how unprofessional, unreliable, and dishonest the process was and ultimately contracted with a more expensive supplier with whom we simply had more confidence. read more

I needed new carpet prior to putting my house on the market and Rich came out on a Thursday evening at 7:00 pm and had samples of carpet that matched the color I already had. They installed the next Tuesday and did a great job. Rich followed up the day it was installed to make sure everything looked good. Great customer service! read more

The installation crew was fantastic. They installed nearly 700 sq ft of Miramar valley laminate in 5 hours. They even fixed part of our couch that was broken, even though they didn't break it. Very professional workmanship. The only reason I give the company a 4 instead of 5 was the scheduling mixups. Be sure they check to see if your floor is level before they schedule and estimate the work. That delayed our work about a week. Very impressed with the final job. read more

America's Floor Source (3442 Millennium Ct., Columbus) has been wonderful to work with. When I initially visited the showroom, Doug took the time to educate me on the different types and qualities of carpet. The price points were much lower than places like Lowe's or Home Depot. Stuart Schupp, who works for AFS, had been recommended to me as an excellent contact for carpet, so I contacted him to find out next steps. He was extremely responsive and over to my house in 1-2 days to take measurements. On the day my carpet was scheduled to be laid, the workers called to say they were on their way, they were on time, and they worked non-stop until the job was completed. Their work was excellent. Worst service ever. The installers could not speak English. It was difficult to communicate when a problem arose. My sales rep. missed ordered and the wrong material was delivered. If I hadn't been there and really payed attention the wrong flooring would have been installed. I've worked in the remodeling industry and own several rental buildings and I would not recommend them. read more

Excellent service in well-lit, well-organized store with plenty of parking. Salesperson was available and informative but not pushy. Easy to reach by cell for future contact. Samples went home multiple times before I made my decision. Chose hardwood for about 1400 square feet of condo - everything but the bathroom. Ordered carpeting for two stairways. Measuring occurred just a day after I chose. [Almost exact! Less than a third of a box of wood left over.] Returned to store to review order and make deposit. Hardwood was readily available, so it was delivered within a week, two days prior to installation. Three men came for installation. Carpeting had to be ordered, so installation was several weeks later. Again, a three-man crew, but different men who are the "carpet team." In both cases, men used my garage for making cuts. They cleaned the house and the garage like their grandmothers were coming to inspect. I highly recommend America's Floor Source for outstanding selection and professional service. read more

Was quoted in writing, about $300 less than I ended up having to pay. The installers had to be babysat as there was no communication between the company and the installers, including the correct address. If I hadn't babysat the installers, the would have laid the wrong non-upgraded pad and I would have never known. I would not recommend this company. read more

Terrible, Terrible. We had them put laminate and carpet in the ground floor so we can list it for sale. The laminate looked beautilful in the store. They didn't install it correctly. Some boards do not line up. There are specs on some of the boards so it looks like you need to sweep that area. The carpet looks like they left the roll in the sun and it faded on the one side. Unbelievably how bad it looks. Go somewhere else read more

I just had my entire basement floors replaced by AFS... The good: -They provided a great variety of styles to choose from that could fit any style or budget. -The sales staff wasn't extremely pushy, which kept things comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole process. -They offered a very competitive price and were transparent with what we should expect. -George (the floor installer) was phenomenal. He was extremely professional and efficient. He would have had our entire basement floors (650+ sq ft) finished in one day had it not been for the error on the initial measurement. The bad: -Unfortunately, since the initial measurements were incorrect it left George short one box. The flooring that we picked was back-ordered, which forced him to have to come back a week later to finish the job. Overall, I had a great experience, but there was definitely room for improvement with the incorrect measurements. read more

I hired America's Floor Source on the recommendation of my contractor, and based upon their reputation. They are more expensive than other flooring places, but their workmanship and professionalism were supposed to be worth the premium. Needless to say, they failed miserably to live up to their standards. First off, they No Call-No Showed 3 days in a row. I emailed my sales rep each day and he assured me that "they will be their tomorrow" each time they didn't show. I called three times to no avail, and finally my General Contractor called and got some action. I burned 3 days of vacation waiting around for nobody to show up. They came, began the install, and then again nothing for 3 more days. No calls, no show. Again I call, and magically they come back to continue on the project. Our salesperson never showed up once onsite to check the progress on our project. Once the deal was signed, he was nowhere to be found. This was a $4800 tile job, so you would think he would give a darn about making sure we were happy. Pretty sad customer service. Only upon me calling the VP of the company did we begin to see some resolution. The guys came, finished up the install, but left several 'nicked' pieces of tile in place. They also mis-cut two pieces of our solid surface material (that tops the knee walls in our shower) and that will have to be replaced. They also broke one of our plumbing fixture rough-in valves which had to be replaced. Nobody ever came to do a final 'punch out' and walk through to see if we were satisfied. After I called the VP, yet again, he sent out someone to look at all of the installation errors. They agreed that things were not correctly done, and they promised to have someone back out to make the necessary repairs. The inspection was December 10th. I got a call today (12/13/12) informing me that someone would be out to fix things on the 28th. . . . JANUARY 28th, not December 28th. Shameful. The only saving grace in this whole debacle is that we only gave them 50% down, and kept the other 50% until completion. IF youre foolish enough to deal with this firm, MAKE SURE you pay no more than 50% down so that you have some 'retainage' that will give you leverage to deal with any installation issues. As it stands now, out of the $2400 we still owe them, they will likely see about $1000 due to replacement parts that had to be ordered, labor for those parts to be removed and replaced by my Contractor, and plumbing repair, etc. The tiles that werent hastily installed look great, but there are so many negatives on this project that it is hard to see past them. I understand that mistakes happen, but 8 mistakes on ONE project is abysmal. They were great at apologizing and saying the right things. But as far as Resolving problems, they were awful. I rate them GREAT for: Apologies I rate them POOR for: Our Sales rep, all communication, follow through, workmanship, and customer service, and proactivity. read more

I am not a person that writes negative reviews UNLESS my experience is REALLY bad, so buyer beware. We have had nothing but issues from the start. The fact that we like the product is the ONLY good thing I have to say. We waited 2 hours to be helped the first day. Tyler told me to fill out a credit app online which I was approved for but they couldn't find the application. I was told the hardwood flooring was ordered but found out days later it wasn't. I had to beg another associate to find and fix the issue and get the order placed. The day we picked up the hardwood we waited about 20 min before they got organized and had the material at our truck to load. One box was damaged. Tyler said he would order a replacement box which he did not do until we showed up to pick up a tile order. He obviously had forgotten but told us it was back-ordered while arguing with us that we probably wouldn't need it anyway. He doesn't return calls in a timely manner if at all. We showed up to pick up the tile because it was "supposed" to be there. Long wait at the dock again, about 30 min, told us they were out of the grout only to eventually find it. The only reason we ordered the tile is because another sales lady came along and gave us some great design advice. Nothing is priced, in fact the prices we were given on the hardwood went up after the initial quote. It seems like whatever price the sales person wants to assign. In fact, at one point I asked Tyler three times for a price on a mosaic tile. I never got a price. He should have apologized for any and all of these issues, but he doesn't seem to care. For all these reasons, we ordered as much as possible on our remodel from other companies. Terrible customer service. Very frustrating experience. read more

Very impressed with Chris in sales. He's a true professional. Cannot say the same for the guys who do the installation. Took them 3 hours to install a 65 ft floor (over top of existing floor). They broke the tp holder of the wall. We're not going to tell me until I walked in on them replacing it. They installed a new one, which is good. They installed it crooked, which is not good. They broke the valve on our toilet and had to turn the valve off. Now I'm waiting for a plumber to fix their mess. We cannot use the toilet. They left the room a mess, as well as the hallway outside the room. You're only as good as your weakest link. Install is definitely the weak link. read more
