I just called in to get a bathroom quote. The lady that answered obviously didn't know what she was doing (ie questions to ask. Bathroom? Kitchen? Bedrooms?). She never asked what I was calling about. Asked multiple times if I had cabinets (which we don't). I had to tell her we were redoing our bath, she never asked. Maybe she's new or a temp. Untrained either way. But, she goes to ask someone about bathroom quotes and whomever she asked told her it would be at least $8k. Without knowing ANY specifics about what we are trying to do, that person told the lady I was talking to it'd be $8k. No measurements. No discussion about materials or time. Just at least $8k. I guess that person was just trying to guage my level of interest. My interest level in doing business with them is now 0. read more

We just completed our 3rd project with Sembro, our 2nd full bath renovation. Their quote on the job was much lower than the other construction companies who came out to assess the job and they completed early and stayed on budget. The crew was courteous and efficient, cleaning up after themselves at every step and being mindful of the fact we were working from home. Horrible experience. Grout discolored the first time water dripped onto it. It took several months and multiple calls before SemBro staff came out to look at, said they'd reseal and that would return the color (it didn't) and only resealed two of four rooms they laid tile in. Poor workmanship when attaching baseboards, some pieces didn't line up or were not flush with the wall. Had to hire someone else to finish the job. Highly discourage anyone from hiring them. read more

As an organization that has strict guidelines on capital purchases, SemBro Designs met all of our required needs. Alex and Liliya were on point and thorough. The outlined schedule of work was met 100%. Our SemBro project coordinator was Liliya. I had regular correspondence with Liliya. She was very customer service focused and made sure we understood the project from beginning to end. Our installer Richard and his crew worked hard and long hours to make sure deadlines were met. We wanted our bathroom to be changed from builder's grade to something we could enjoy for years in our condo. Vitaliy in Cleveland was great to work with, answered all our questions and helped my wife sort through the options. The highlight was removing the old fiberglass shell of our shower and replacing it with a 5x4 walk-in with a bench and two outlet rain showerhead with subway tiles that are beautiful. New vanity, new floor, and a new facade to our jetted tub along with new floorboards and painted walls makes it totally relaxing for us. Once started, the reno took 3 weeks, two weeks less than they budgeted for us. The employees did everything they could to protect our home during the work and were totally professional. We fully gutted out kitchen and an adjacent room to make one large kitchen. We worked with Sembro for layout and design and we hired them for the cabinet and granite purchase/install. Nadia was such a pleasure to work with. Her layout/design couldn't have been anymore perfect. I also commend Nadia for her patience because it took us almost a year of planning on our part before we were ready to take the plunge on such a big project. Nadia kept in touch throughout the time and was ready when we were. The install crew was a pleasure as well. I was impressed with how meticulous they were with the finishing touches. I am so happy with the renovation of my kitchen/dining room!! The quality and craftsmanship was superb! The project manager Daniel, was very knowledgeable and came up with many ideas that I would have never thought about. The crew, Vitaliy, Arcadey, Igor and Sasha did an outstanding job. They were always on time, cleaned up everyday after their work, gave me an estimated time for completion, but finished two weeks ahead of schedule. I feel 100% confident to recommend Sembro with the highest regard. Excellent work AND on schedule delivery! Each day I knew what to expect. I was given a clear schedule to follow to have appliances, windows and granite selected. Every day the crew swept, cleaned up and hauled away the demolition debris. We have 2 dogs and it was good to know they would not get into anything at the end of each day. I imagine this is an ideal practice for a family with small children. It also helped keep the stress of construction to a minimum as we lived in our home during the construction. The Sembro team were pleasant to be around and worked very hard.
