Excellent lamb samosa
Steven G.

500 reviews in the can!! Off Grant road, strip mall, easy parking. Service/Ambiance....Big room, mostly empty when I got there...picked up considerably by the time i left. All the furniture matches, steel tableware, fabric napkins...cold and sterile. 3 stars Service...as cold and sterile as the atmosphere...not a fan..got the job done..3 stars Food-OUTSTANDING...far better than I expected..with some quibbles. The garlic naan was crispy on one side, mushy doughy on the other half...and lacking in garlic. The lamb samosas were just about perfect. The lamb in yogurt sauce was much more sauce than lamb...and at 17 dollars...i expect more of the protein. Was about 40 dollars with iced tea and tip...for a one person lunch. 3 stars

It's an authentic Indian restaurant that offer different kinds of spices... pretty width varies of foods!! I ordered a typical India dish with chicken curry butter plus spices... with India rice!!! A big portion with a big bowl of rice!! I love those mango yogurt shake especially summer time!!! Services were efficient and they can explain you if you don't know which spices you like!!!

Wow what a delicious Indian restaurant! My friend gets take out from here often and brought me for lunch on my visit. It's a huge space, beautifully decorated, and perfect fire large events. The servers were friendly and helpful about ordering gluten free. He had samosas and naan he said were great. I loved the fried paneer that was gf and so crispy! The saag paneer and chicken korma were some of the best I've had. Large portions let us take home leftovers for snacks later. Great place!

We placed an online order for take put. Same day, Friendly staff orders have always been correct and always hot as if just came off the pan even though we took it to the office. Flavors are on point and truly authentic. Love this is a local business. Don't be discouraged by location when you walk in you will be in a totally different ambiance. This is our #1 absolute favorite Indian food establishment between family and work family. Good food takes time. Be patient and enjoy ‍

I wanted sushi but there was a long wait for the sushi place next door so we said, heck Indian sounds good. And we weren't disappointed. Despite being in a strip mall it has the ambiance of a well appointed restaurant. The service was fast and friendly. We started with an appetizer sampler, which was all good. The cheese was a little sweet so that was surprising. We then had butter chicken and lamb biryiani. They set the heat level to your liking, we asked for medium which was a bit mild so if you want heat go above medium. I'll be back.

I have been passing this place for years and I finally stopped in and I was rather disappointed in the entrees. The Staff was nice. We were seated immediately. The Food came quick and Prices aren't bad, but I did not enjoy the entrées we ordered. We started with Veggie samosas and they were good- Crisp outside and flavorful inside. One thing that I found interesting was their spice level is mild/medium/hot. But they also have spice levels like "medium plus"/"mild plus" if you want a little more spice. For entrees, I did the chicken tikka masala, medium pluse spice, and I did not enjoy it. Chicken tikka masala is my go to dish at an Indian restaurant, and this was not flavorful at all. We also did the garlic naan (not bad) and the tandoori chicken(medium plus spice). The tandoori chicken was horrible. It was dry/tough, not tender at all. And I felt like the chicken didn't marinate in the sauce, and they They just kind of put it on it. Also, the sauce was not that good, sweet/ketchupy taste

Very spacious and clean dining area - while we were having dinner there was a fair amount of cleaning activity, which is great. Nice ambiance with an attractive bar. Service was good, our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Very extensive menu which includes most of the classic Indian dishes. I started with a mango lassi, something I order at every Indian restaurant. It was very attractive (see photo), nice and creamy but could have used a dash of salt. We ordered garlic naan, which had a fabulous flaky texture, but needed more garlic for flavor. My main dish was lamb biryani which was loaded with lamb. When I've had this in India it is cooked in a clay crock and gets a nice crust on the top which was missing here. Could have used a few more veggies for flavor. My wife had the fish curry which was excellent - I know because I finished her portion the next day. Portions are generous here, and they have nice containers for leftovers so you can expect a 2nd meal the next day. Overall we had a nice experience - with a few tweaks this could be a top notch place.

Great food and service! Will definitely come back. I would particularly recommend the palak paneer and the samosas.

It's now January 2023. Do you have a lunch buffet operating?

We do not have the buffet, and unfortunately there are no plans of bringing it back any time soon.

Any idea when the buffet will be back?

I just called them & they are now open for dine-in, but they don't know when they will have the buffet again.

Does you food have MSG?

I talked to them on 4/22/22 and their lunch buffet remains closed with nothing slated for the near future :-/

It wasn't very busy when we got there, in fact, we only ate with two other groups at separate times for a moment. There's lots of seating and it's got a beautiful unique India inspired decor, with posters all around. It smells really great when you enter. We ordered the lamb tikka masala and the yellow Taka doll, both came with rice. We also ordered the onion Bughagi , naan and roti. Everything was absolutely delicious and flavored so incredibly well. Well, I don't drink soda often, I like to have a spicy drink to wash down my food on occasion and so we got a spray that we slowly slipped. Although the service was very kind, and the woman were great, the one thing that I will say is, it took us quite a long time to get service for things and we often found ourselves getting up and walking over to ask for help.

I knew the drinks cost extra, but the reverse osmosis water was included. I also knew to get a new plate when I went back for seconds. I also knew there was a koi pond and aviary on the property. My mom and I were on a girls trip and we enjoy eating healthfully whenever we can. That's not to say we don't also love desserts! We heard this place was vegetarian and were intrigued. Walking in from the parking lot, we were struck at how beautiful the whole temple/grounds were. Beautiful art/water features and statues. The food changes daily, I believe, but on our visit there was a salad bar (with spinach and lettuce options, shredded carrot, cucumber, two kinds of sprouts, chickpeas, grape tomatoes, and zucchini- also don't miss the delicious dressings! I got seconds on salad so I could try multiple dressings!). There was also brown rice and yellow rice options, steamed veggies and curry veggies, coconut chutney, chowmein, and vegan pizza. Oh and rice pudding and halva. Everything was simple and delicious. They have signs on the table about the food being prepared with the utmost cleanliness and love and I believe it. We sat inside (even though the courtyard was beautiful, it was still a bit sunny). Inside they were playing pan flute music and there was the gentle gurgle of a water feature and large crystals lining the wall. Heck yeah! After dinner we wandered around the grounds, admiring everything. I particularly enjoyed seeing Sufi the white turkey, and the peacocks, the pheasants, and the parrots! They were all adorable and seemed happy. The koi pond was also very zen and beautiful. I would definitely recommend this spot with the caveat that it's not for everyone- you have to go in with the knowledge you're eating simply, and all vegetarian, and you're entering a space where others live and worship. For the price, this was a great bargain. I'd love to visit again one day!
