Sharetea is not too far from my office and a wonderful addition to San Ramon. Seating is limited, but there are a few tables outdoors. Their boba was fresh, perfect in texture and not overly sweet. Although I'd love to try other menu items, I'm a huge fan of their Ginger Milk tea. I get it 50% sweet with boba and it's perfect. $4.00 gets you a fairly large drink with a topping ($3.50 without.) They offer soy milk for some drinks, accept 5 star rewards (you can earn points towards a free drink,) and they seem to move efficiently and pleasantly. I'm so excited to have a nearby spot for my boba fix and promise to try some other drinks and expand my milk tea horizons. read more

My new favorite bubble tea store!! I happened to be on my lunch break (I work in Bishop Ranch in San Ramon), and I was about to grab Subway next door when some ladies walked out of Sharetea. They looked happy, so I peeked inside, and... the place looked so clean and festive!!! The cashiers were so nice & friendly. This is definitely my new favorite bubble tea spot!! They have so many different varieties (I opted for the hot oolong milk tea), and you can also customize your drink with the level of sweetness (by percentage!). How neat. They also have all sorts of fun additions (i.e. red bean, aloe vera, tapioca, etc.) I will return on Friday when I dress up for Halloween (b/c my office is having a party), because the bubble tea baristas there said I can get a free topping. Sharetea has now followed me from the city to the burbs. One of the best boba places in San Francisco is now in San Ramon. I came here for their grand opening this past weekend which was BOGO. There was a small line that we had to wait in, but it wasn't bad at all. Their staff was extremely fast at taking orders, making drinks, and getting them to their customers. If the manager reads this he/she should congratulate their employees. Very impressive for a store opening and much faster service in their first month than their location in the Metreon has after a year. They have so many different flavors and their teas are my gf's favorites. I'm a big taro fan and I love slushes, so their taro slush with lychee jelly is my favorite and go-to drink here. read more

Matcha red bean ice blended with ice cream: Delicious!! I was impressed with how rich/non-artificial the matcha taste was! I must warn you that this drink is not for the faint of heart because it is supppper sweet, but since I have a major sweet tooth it@/ also made it super delicious:) haha. Get it again: Definitely! I also want to try the matcha red bean milk tea and pay $.50 for the ice cream topping as I didn't like having to wait a long time for all of the ice to melt. Also, I like that they use five stars, but it's gonna take forever to build up points...kind of wish they just had a stamp card:). I went to ShareTea very often. I always ordered Macha with fresh milk with boba. Usually they make this drink very light tasting almost like water because when they use hot water mixing with macha powder, they use too much water, and dumped in the sink around 1/3 of macha mix in the shaking cup. One time I requested to add extra macha powder, that cashier said it needs more charge. So I asked them to add less water to mix macha powder. Then one time, I requested to add less water, a cashier told me there is no extra charge. Since then, I don't care the mixing hot water is too much or less. But last Thursday afternoon, I went there again to order a same drink, I ordered extra macha powder, she charged me extra money. I told her many cashiers don't charge me of that. Then she firmly said it's our policy. Another coworker of hers was just standing there watching us. That girl just served me a few days ago without charging me extra. Then I told her I came here around 3 times a week with no extra charge. She looks unhappy, then she texted the manager and let me wait there. I have no to wait the manager to reply because I needed to pick up my kids. Most of time when I requested to customize my orders, cashiers sometimes gave me a bad look. I don't know why I should pay $6.75 to have an unhappy drink. Also the manager need to taste their drink all the time when customers give them feedback, not just want to charge more from customers. I never go there again. There are still many tea stores out there. I remember the first time I was asked for extra charge for extra macha, that man looked like the store manager because his voice is more powerful then other staff. He was also very firmly said that extra charge. He needs to taste every drink how every employee make. read more

Horrible customer service. Went there today and there were 2 ladies ordering a huge list of beverages, most of them different from the other. Each beverage was being customized. The line just kept getting longer and longer but the employees didn't care to help the other customers. They were focused on helping the 2 women probably because of the $$$ business they are giving. More people joined the line and the ladies continued ordering. 10 mins later every customer (Including me) left the store without ordering anything. These people dont care about customer service. All they care is who gives them more money. Bad ethics. Giving them 2 stars because the tea is good. Period. read more

Today, I got a green tea creama 50sugar/50 ice - no topping. I get this drink a lot and at several locations including this one. I shake my drink and have been sipping it at work and noticed its not smooth... I get tiny balls of chalk like texture of some sort. Green tea and creama with no toppings should be smooth all the way through. Shaking my drinking hoping it goes away, which it does mostly but the creaminess is a little off. Also starting to notice I really taste/smell the dairy. I personally love creama and salted cheese (at some locations I even get extra), but the dairy taste/smell is somewhat strong and has me questioning if it went bad. Its an unpleasant aftertaste and I stopped drinking it with 2/3 of the drink still there. It was hard to tell at first because its mixed with the green tea, but as i kept drinking and the creama ratio increased, more yellow flags popped up... I come here every so often and service and my drinks have generally been great. Leaving this as a 2 star, but my stomach is saying 1. Hoping they check the products often, the container for the creama was very large and wasn't full during my order as i saw her having to tilt very much. read more

Wow! I was raised in San Ramon and I remember when I grew up here the first boba place that opened with Tapioca Cafe in Dublin. It was pretty much the only place that had boba for years until they opened one at Le Asia (now closed) and Quickly, it's shocking to see so many boba places in the area now. Sharetea actually has my favorite coffee milk tea from any other boba place. They have one near me here in San Diego where I live and I go there frequently. I visited the San Ramon location over the weekend with my sister and brother-in-law. The drink recipe for the coffee milk tea is consistent wherever I go. I wish they did have smaller cup sizes since it's hard to finish. I liked the R&B music they were playing inside. I would have loved having Sharetea there when I was growing up in SR. read more

My new tea go to joint in the East Bay. Variety of fresh brewed green, black, Earl Grey, much more varieties than I can name. Nice variety of milk teas, milk coffees with various add ins such as boba, sweet red beans, lychee gelatin other nuts and toppings. They have a number of blended ice teas from matcha to taro to milk coffee blends. They can customize to suit your taste from sweetness to amount of ice to add ins and flavors. I got the blended green tea matcha with sweet red beans, not overly sweet, hint of matcha (could have been stronger) but delicious, sweet tender red beans, pretty icy which diluted the matcha flavor, but that's ok. Counter guys were friendly and helpful, luv the service and store. Decor is nice bright and inviting, you can hang inside or out - bunch of hipsters hanging out, it's the new Asian Starbucks. Honestly I don't go to any other boba joint other than here. The service is great and the workers are very friendly. Mind you, that this shop is quite small and has limited seating. Boba is usually a hit or miss for me, but I am very glad this place opened up. My current favorite is the Taro Milk Tea. The taste is very thick and not bland like other milk tea places. I don't order boba with my drink but this shop's boba is acceptable. read more

Pretty standard Sharetea location. I frequent the San Leandro and Union City locations more so for convenience sake, but I'll admit that the San Ramon location is definitely on par with them and is definitely a boba blessing to the Tri Valley area (especially these neck of the woods)! Sharetea offers a variety of teas, milk teas and ice blends that can satisfy your boba cravings! What's awesome about Sharetea is that you're able to really customize your drink to get it how YOU like it. After all, isn't that what it's all about? You can choose your sweetness level, ice level and the toppings you want in your drinks as well! Customer service was pretty good as well! Workers were patient, friendly and ready & willing to answer any questions or provide recommendations if you're new to the Sharetea scene. Parking isn't too bad but can be a pain during lunch hours since this plaza boasts a variety of food places popular to local businesses and offices. But hey, that just means you're going to be able to get whatever type of food you want for lunch and a yummy boba drink as well. Win win win. My go to spot for boba. I love the fruit flavored boba such as the Hawaiian tea with jelly. I usually ask for zero percent sugar because the syrup is already super sweet. But they have a new cashier I think.. an Asian girl with long eyelash extension. She could really be nicer to the customers. It was hard to hear her with the protective glass and the mask so she should talk a bit slower, say a few please or thank you to make the experience a bit more tolerable instead of being so curt and impatient. There was no one waiting outside. She didn't have to rush and gave attitude. It was a pretty big let down today because of her. But otherwise the place is good. read more

First time ever visiting, and honestly it was a pleasant experience. I was a little worried because I tend to read reviews before going somewhere and I had read the negative ones about rude staff. I am antisocial and I didn't want to have to encounter rude people. However, I decided I would at least give it a try so I did. I walked in, I was greeted, I was asked if I wanted to change my ice and sweetness, and while I am lactose intolerant they didn't have a milk alternative but the lady offered me a dairy free creamer! My tea is good the boba was fresh and warm and sweet! They even fill the cup all the way when you get less ice! Sharetea is everywhere so this review is more for this specific Sharetea. Workers are friendly and make your drink pretty fast. I like how the sunlight comes in so it feels very welcoming, but there isn't much seating at all. Some indoor and some outdoor seating. We got a Hokkaido milk tea to share. Same good taste that I like. Boba is a little softer than I'd like but still good. They have a top 20 drinks right on the left side which is pretty useful. Workers ask about sweetness and ice in case you forget which was good because I was still a little dazed from the giant poke bowl I had at Poke Don. Convenient place for some good boba! read more

I'm a fan of Sharetea generally wherever I go. This location was quiet and small, and they don't have as much seating as the one in Concord that I usually go to. However, it is clean, which is always a plus. They were running a BOGO special if I ordered one of the featured milk teas (toffee and mellow)... they weren't really able to describe what made the milk tea mellow... they basically told me it was the same as a regular milk tea... not a great job at selling that one! So I ended up going with the toffee one, and grabbed one to go for my coworker on the way back to work, too. read more

I've been here a few times and I would say overall the tea is good. It's definitely a lot more pricey for boba though. They used to have the BOGO deal, but it recently stopped and I'll be eager once it returns! I like that you're able to customize your tea in the amount of ice, sugar content, and topping fixings. The tea is already pretty sweet on its own and if you're adding toppings, you'll also get the sweetness from the syrups too. I would say choosing a lower end on the sweetness is the way to go. The pearls are really nicely done, since it's the right amount of fluff, sugar, and chewiness of boba. I really like the pudding topping, it's like dessert in a cup! My favorite go to drink so far is the passion green tea oblong if you're wanting something refreshing. There's always the classic milk tea that you can't go wrong with either! Stopped in to get a drink on my way to the South Bay. Convenient location, right off the freeway and really close to Poke Don too. It was about 9:45pm and luckily they're open till 10, which is super convenient, esp on a Sunday night. The place isn't too big. A few chairs and tables but there was a pretty large group on teenagers just hanging out there. Seems like a nice enough place to chill. Sharetea has been popping around all over the Bay Area! As far as Shareteas go, this one was definitely smaller than all the other ones I've been to. They have BOGO every weekday for different drinks which is interesting! I got their jasmine green milk tea without ice and without sugar, and it was very meh. Not very strong tea taste. They had 3 tables and a bunch of chairs set up inside but it felt pretty cramped, and it's definitely not a place I would choose to hang out. read more
