I am not sure if I came on an off day, but the Friday evening that I went, there was only 2 staffs, aside from a chef, running a full house. They were literally running around. Food took forever to arrive, and I had to wave them down just to take my initial order, follow-up on that order, refills, and for my check. I felt bad for the staff, but seriously, what is going on? There were some items that were unavailable on the menu, however, the dishes we did receive was pretty good. I felt that I was there longer than I had wished to be since the whole time was spent waiting and watching them run around and seeing other patrons go up to the bar numerous times to fill their own beer pitcher. Taste wise this was the best Chinese kabob place I've found in the DFW area! Service can be a bit slow if this place is crowded. Expect 30 min - 1 hr wait during peak times I.e. dinner time on weekends. The lamb kabob is very authentic, closest thing I've had to the real deal that you find on the streets of mainland China! They do have a karaoke setup on a stage and have singers on there serenading you - one time I went and this guy was just belching out a song and it was kinda distracting, but man the food is well worth it. read more

No English menu: luckily both of us can read Mandarin but for someone who doesn't understand this language, I can see it's hard to know what to order. 2. The weird live-stream screen and karaoke : they have this live streaming screen where you have to use your wechat account to post messages. Let's talk decor- cheesy, tacky, a karaoke machine, drums, whole music set... HUH? Walking into a food establishment, that is quite the stimuli. Oddly enough once seated, it was very homelike and comfortable. Service, (yes I said service at an Asian place!) was excellent. Wait staff was attentive, helpful with the menu and kept an eye on beverage fill lines and came promptly to refill. We ordered grilled oysters, grilled scallops, lamb skewers, grilled chives and grilled enoki mushrooms. Tip- everything on a stick is ordered as singles. The enoki and chives are ordered as a plate, enough to share between 3 people or 2 overly hungry people like us. Grilled oysters come in pairing of 6 and grilled scallops come as set of 10 again, enough to share or eat amongst two hungry foodies! Grilled oysters- very clean, just a hint of garlic and some cilantro. Delicious, my favorite. Grilled scallops- my wife said these were her favorite. Soy sauce, umami base covered in garlic and vermicelli noodles. This is a flavor explosion. Must try. Lamb skewers- when you are at a place like this, lamb skewers are obligatory and therefore we got a few. It's good but not the best I've ever had. It's still worth getting if you're already eating at the establishment. Grilled chives- the chives are on point. Some of the most tender and fresh chives I've ever had. Must get! I like this place better than Fatni. The bean curd was flavorful. The lamb is very tender. I wouldn't recommend the fish tofu, pig intestine, or pork skin. To be fair the pig intestine doesn't smell but I prefer it crispy and not soft & chewy. The hot pot has a creaminess to it but be sure to mix before eating. Clams could have been purged a little bit more but flavor was excellent. Bread toast is amazing, honestly the best as it reminds me of my childhood - just butter and sugar grilled. Plano finally got an Asian bar/restaurant! How exciting. The interior design is absolutely amazing. Very spacious and beautiful. The bar and restaurant is separated. They also got a stage, I believe the performance starts around 8-8:30pm. I got there too early, so I didn't get a chance to see any performance. The food there is mainly consist of Chinese style kabob. The grill squid and stir fry clams are my favorite entrees. There cocktail still got plenty room of improvement. I ordered their house special cocktail and first love. Both of them taste very coconutty. Moreover, serves their is ok. Just because of the atmosphere there, I definitely recommend this place! There were a lot of hypes about this place but I just didn't feel it. Wait staffs all seemed a bit inexperienced or that this was just their part-time high school shift. The menu with photos helped but then you have to match it with the ordering form (in chinese) to mark down the quantity. Yes I can read Chinese but even then it was not a fun exercise for me. They failed to inform us that all skewers are prepared spicy unless indicated by us. Coming from NYC, I am very familiar with street carts with skewers. And the vendors there always asked me - do you want it spicy? And how was the seasoning overall? They were all very salty. I felt like it was done purposely to hide the quality of the meat. I had one beef skewer and it felt gamey. The only thing I'd recommend is the lamb skewer and chive. Also, this place is not kid friendly. We asked for a knife so we can cut the meat into small pieces but they told us they don't even have plastic knives. They did offer to cut them for us but we couldn't have asked them to cut everything! I feel like this is more of a hangout/pre-game or post game place as there is a nice bar area to hang out. I used DOOR DASH for delivery, and from the time I sent my large order through until I was forking down was 35 mins. That was within the 30-45 mins projected on the DD site, so I was impressed. The portions we're more than acceptable and all the to-go containers we're filled FULL! We served it family-style, so everybody got some of everything! I was also very picky and had lots of special requests for none of this, more of this, and a little bit of that and they didn't miss a beat! Everything was absolutely amazing! Upon arrival we noticed there were quite a few young 20-30 year olds wearing the latest athleisure trends, most from the motherland, so you know it's hip. Have no fear parents, this place is still very kid friendly. I came for a late lunch so I was starving & ordered with eyes very wide open aka a lot of food. In no particular order- spicy beef skewers, pork feet dry noodles, salty egg pancake with hotdog, spicy veg（A菜). Excuse the poor English translation of a completely Chinese menu... When I say spicy, I mean spicy! Also the beef skewers and the veg were doused in cumin. So if you don't like cumin, stay far away. These 2 dishes were the least favorite of mine. I thought they got a little bit too much after the first couple of bites. + 2 stars for the noodles and egg pancake. The pork feet noodles（豬腳麵）was my favorite. This can easily be split between 2-4 people if you're ordering other dishes. It comes with medium sized noodles, 2-3 nice cuts of fatty pig feet, green beans, and potatoes. The potatoes stick to the bottom of the bowl and become a little crispy which is so delicious. The egg pancake with hotdog was pretty good. It has a spicy sweet sauce in it. +1 star for polite service. Service is a bit slow. Food took awhile to come out and the waiters seemed a little frazzled. But they were still very polite when you asked for anything. Hopefully with time the service can be improved. +1 for price/value. Authentic Chinese BBQ skewers and a private karaoke room! My friends and I had a great time singing and eating in their large private room. I personally love the flavor of the spices in Chinese BBQ skewers, and most of their dishes tend to share a flavor profile. (You probably either love it or you don't. I enjoy it.) There's both a public karaoke area and a private one, depending on what your style is. I'm not sure if the karaoke system itself has an English menu or not (definitely ask the staff about it before booking it if you don't read Mandarin), but they have a good amount of Chinese, English, Korean, Japanese, etc. songs in the system. It's a great place for Chinese style skewers! Food: We ordered skewers (lamb, beef tendon, fish cake, and shrimp), spicy noodle soup, and a choy (vegetable). Our noodle was a bit over cooked but other than that the food was great. They use the same seasoning for majority of the food so if you are not into spices, it's not a go to place. Drinks: The beer was a little flat. Next time will order by the bottle. Price: The food is a little bit pricier than other skewers places but it's hard to find a skewer place with good seasoning. Finally a great Chinese restaurant: great food, clean trendy environment, and good service. Speaking as a Chinese, I can't tell you how rare this combination is. Kabobs are perfectly spiced for me. Usually I like to go to other places for Chinese BBQ but wanted to try something different this time and I am glad I decided to try a different place! This restaurant is more like a bar/karaoke with food being supplementary but everything we had here was delicious. The skewers were all tasty and balanced in flavor and nothing was overly salty or overly cumin forward. Only downside was there were many dishes we wanted to try (edamame, peanut, orange pork, grapefruit tea) but they did not have available. I want to prefaced this review by saying that I don't really post a lot of reviews that are negative in nature, but this has to be one of worst dining experiences in a long long time. Also note that I have restaurant management and BOH experience, so this is coming from someone who has worked in that profession, so I get it, but no excuses. The food was pretty good, a wide selection of full flavored dishes that are sure to please, however my biggest gripe is with their service! My friends and I were seated at around 6:30pm, placed our orders shortly after that with our male waiter, and we waited patiently. We soon noticed that the tables that came in after us got their food and started eating already. Our food wasn't even out by 7:07pm and no one came around after we finished putting in our orders. We gently asked a waitress about the status of our orders, she asked if we had given our orders to the guy, to which we responded with a solid yes, she then nodded and rushed off. No further explanation. Shortly after that awkward interaction, our male waiter came back with our order ticket, placed it on the table and quickly rushed off. He had just placed the order in at 7:12pm (as noted by the ticket's time stamp). We didn't get our food until 7:30-ish. (Took about an hour for our food to come out.) By this time the other tables had left already. Not once was there any interaction with the wait staff after that debacle. They continue to rush past us and all the other guests, scrambling to fulfill orders. We asked politely for our water cups to be refilled with little to no luck. I ended up getting our waters and arranged/setting aside our used plates in order to clear our table. They even missed an order and gave us the wrong ticket when we reordered, which would've given us the wrong items, which may have complicated the experience even more. Truly one of the worst food service experiences I've had. Overall the food was good, but they really need to work on their waitstaff. We left annoyed at how they all seemingly ignore us and a few of the other tables. They never apologize for their errors, nor did they explain what happened. In all honesty, they rarely spoke to us. All we saw were waitstaff rushing around, slamming dishes onto the table without explanation of what we/the customers had ordered, and being constantly ignoring. Please take your business elsewhere and dine somewhere with a solid FOH staff. This spoiled the whole experience even if the food was good. Not worth the time. read more

The only thing worth it was the squid, the pork, and the bread. The person who took the sheet you fill out forgot to put in our order until half an hour later when I saw tables that came in after us getting their food first. After waiting for 15 mins between each food, then we had to ask again how much longer will the food come?
