Walking in a couple of minutes before 9pm they will refuse to seat a party of one. Forty five minutes before closing. I'm having a hard time not taking that personally when I walk in and am told that the kitchen is clod closed, and they can't serve an order of lo mein. Incredible. read more

Partner loves dim sum, so we came here for date night. We got the green beans, chicken fried rice, the colorful dumplings, and some pork soup dumplings. I'd say the dumplings were creative and I don't regret getting them, I don't think I would again. There was also a musky taste to the soup dumplings that wasn't terrible but was unexpected based on previous ones I've had. The chicken fried rice was good, but a bit heavy on the soy and lacking distinct amounts of egg. The green beans were the star of the show for me, and I really liked them and would order again a thousand times over. The service was attentive and quick. We got all of our dishes within 10-15 minutes with the fried rice coming out in less than 5. I would return here and focus more around the regular dumplings and maybe try some other options! read more

Update! So went back and had the "Bang Bang" noodles with chicken and OMG! It was truly amazing. You have somewhat recovered but I still won't do the Generals Chicken or sesame chicken again. We've been here a couple times and it's been good majority of the times. We always get their string beans (m11) and I would say the first few times getting it, it's great. Lots of flavor, string beans were cooked really well, and overall, really tasty vegetable dish. However, the reason for 4 stars is cause of the consistency of the dish. The most recent time we ordered it, it had less flavor and less of the seasoning. The string beans weren't as soft either, which was disappointing. :/ Beef stir fry was very flavorful, on the other hand, and it wasn't spicy. It had a bit of that "ma-la" (numbing and spicy) flavor, but it was tolerable. Overall, I do recommend this place! Servers are great and attentive. I just hope the next time we come, the string beans are back to it's original way. We order it every time we come and it would be a shame if we had to choose another vegetable dish to try out. read more

I was advised of a 30 minute wait time and to my amazement,I was handed my Chefs Suns Noodle and Dumpling order Right on time. Noodles, dumplings,schezuan beef,all arrived piping hot and orderly. I was super happy with the way the food was packed. I didn't eat right away so the sack sat on the counter about an hour. To my amazement,opening the sack and removing the items,all were still warm. I was really excited to try Chef Sun's Dumplings since it's a halal restaurant because my parents eat halal, so we were looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it was a pretty disappointing experience. The service was rude and it honestly felt like they were too tired to serve us. We got the dan dan noodles which had no flavor at all, just cold noodles and beef on the side. The beef soup was bland, and the dumplings were just okay, nothing special. The Chinese beef burritos barely had any beef in them and the taste was meh. The only thing we actually liked was the Singapore noodle, which had a decent flavor. I could not find one item from their extensive menu that I didn't enjoy. The chicken soup dumplings were great. The wontons in red oil were fabulous. The older and objectively more attractive (but not handsome) older brother to their McKinney location, this is where it all began and where you'll find the best version of their house recipes. Staff are super friendly and although there is often a small language barrier it's not led to any mistakes and barely affects the meal. I've gotten worse service from my born & raised friends at Red Lobster. The menu is something worth exploring as it's not only a feature of the Northern Chinese cuisine, but I also believe some dishes are simply not worth getting in comparison to other. Biang Biang Noodles are a must try even without a protein added and if you want the spice, I'm going for the Double not the Triple. Found a hair in my food today at the bottom of my bowl and let the management know. My friend was embarrassed about it and was going to throw it on the ground. I ended up picking it up and letting the server know. They went over and were holding it up for like 10 min before she came back and told us there's nothing they can do because "there's no sauce on the hair and you didn't leave it in the food." They also added the manager said there was no proof that the hair was in the food. As if I would lie about that... Disgusting and terrible service.
