Naju Myeonok is one of our go to Korean restaurants especially in East Plano. We were originally sad when Doma closed but they have filled in very well. We've had the seollongtang, katsu, galbi, and sundubu and enjoyed everything. The seollongtang hits the spot on a cold day. The sundubu is more on the thicker consistency which is good because we usually take it home and make more of it. Katsu is very big and thin but fried well. The banchan are pretty good as well with a good variety to cleanse the palate. Always enjoy coming here and they have a lot of things on the menu they do well so they have something for everyone.

I really liked this place. It was super chill and had a calm vibe to it. The staff were so nice and helpful and the food was delicious. I really liked their banchan and how fast everything came out. Definitely a solid spot!

Great value and authentic tasting Korean stews perfect for a rainy or cold day! My typical go to is the yuk gae jang, but their gomtang is also great and tastes very clean. Portions are generous and comes with a good amount of meat at a very reasonable price point.

This place tastes sooo good, with big family-sized portions. Seafood Pancake: Perfectly crunchy, not soggy like other places. Even after reheating in the air fryer, it was just as good. 10/10 Bossam: HUGE portion with lots of flavorful sides. I got medium , and it could easily feed 4 people for about $40. 10/10 Dumplings: Massive, delicious, and packed with flavor. 10/10 We had tons of leftovers because everything is both huge and tasty. It feels like really good home-style family cooking. Definitely come with friends--especially if you want to share--because the portions are best enjoyed together (unless you're just here for soup). Spacious interior, good place for soups and traditional Korean food. Service is fast!! 10/10

Great Korean spot located in the same plaza as 99 Ranch Market, making it super convenient for us to visit! When my fiance and I decided to check out this newly open restaurant, we opted for the soy galbi jjim (medium) to share and even the medium was a LOT of food for the two of us (we did have some leftovers). The meat in the galbi jjim was pretty high quality and so tender that it basically just fell off the bones! The flavor was delicious with a good mix of savory / sweet / umami, and I loved the vegetables and rice cakes too. They also provide a good variety of banchan to start the meal, and the staff happily refilled our favorites throughout!

I loveeeee raw crab. Not a common dish I see at Korean restaurants around here so I'm glad there's a place serving it up. Some people said it's on the salty side but I didn't mind it at all. Nice flavor and well seasoned. Overall we all enjoyed this restaurant for good Korean food. It is a bit pricey though imo. Might be the rent because this is the "cursed corner" where no restaurant has survived yet. I hope Naju Myeonok makes it so I have a place to splurge on some raw crab. Won't be a regular spot but more of a special occasion for me.

The food was very tasty! I got the combo tofu soup and galbi and it had decent portions and was very filling. The banchan was a good variety, the kimchi and radish kimchi were my favorites. The service was very good; the staff is very friendly and helpful. The dining area is pretty intimate but great for groups also. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Service was okay, but their food was delicious! Their Kalbi tasted exceptionally good as it was tender and juicy. Seafood pancake was good as were their cold noodles. The ambiance is casual and very open without any private booths but still felt cozy. Just don't bring outside food for your picky kid because they would rather starve your child than serve you. Thankfully our son wasn't hungry.

I had seollongtang and tried the hew cold noodles. Before ordering, we asked if it was a bony fish and was told no; however, it was bony and chewy - not very enjoyable. Seollongtang was okay. I appreciated the side dishes. They were fresh. Besides given wrong information about the dishes, service was good; they were friendly.

this is my favorite place to go when i need a clean, light broth! the intestine soup is very light on my stomach. the service was amazing as well! the server was quite attentive. I had to add seasoning to my broth, but that's how it's supposed to be done here! i give the intestine soup a 12/10 and the side dishes a 12/10 as well!

The oxtail bone broth soup is great! Love the banchans that we got with it. Also had the spicy intestines soup ( it was super spicy however). Banchans came with it which is always appreciated!

Nice spot with calm and casual Korean family vibes. The food is solid and the staff is normal. Nothing particularly wrong with this restaurant, but I just think I prefer other Korean spots in the area.

I'm so happy they built a Cho Dang in Plano!…read more This place is one of my favorite go-tos for Korean tofu soup & short ribs (galbi). I love ordering the combos so I get a little bit of everything that I want. The portions are decent if you're hungry & want to finish everything OR if you're not too hungry, eat half, and take the other half to-go for lunch the next day. The service is aligned with what you'd expect from a Korean place. Some of the older ladies working there are so sweet and helpful, especially if you tell them it's your first time, and some of them seem more intimidating and aggressive. Typically there isn't a wait for tables. Only times I've waited for a table are peak weekend dinner hours. The most I waited was maybe 15 minutes, as their service is quite fast for a sit down restaurant. This location has seats where you can store your personal belongings in them!

They have a variety of tofu soup options, along with other traditional Korean dishes. My table of four ordered a seafood pancake, various tofu soups, and kalbi. The seafood pancake was disappointing-- there was very little seafood and the center was mushy, not crispy. I got the intestine tofu soup in medium spicy, which had large chunks of intestine and generous helpings of tofu. The soup portions are so large, I didn't even finish my rice. As for the side dishes/banchan, nothing really stood out. As for the service, we were seated and helped really quickly, but pretty much left alone for the remainder of the meal. The prices here are decent, especially if you share a combo meat and soup with a friend.

We got the baby octopus bibimbap with the steamed egg and bulgogi bibimbap with the tofu soup. The banchan was also really fresh and the kimchi really stood out. The portions were huge! I love that the bibimbap comes out on a flat sizzling pan to maximize the crunchy rice you get from it. The baby octopus was delicious and had great flavor. The steamed egg had a spongy texture which and was also really flavorful. The tofu soup was not as thick as some that you might get but it had a really good savory flavor that you can taste in the soup. It was overall a real great experience and a great value if you're going at lunch. Definitely adding to our regular rotation.

Even before the star of the meal appeared, kudos to the smattering of banchan that came out: sprouts, cucumber kimchi, sweet potato, mini meat patties, kimchi, steamed egg, tofu soup, salad greens seasoned, cheese + corn... I hope I didn't miss any! The mushroom bibimbap is flavorful! We've never had this particular bibimbap before and man it goes well with the meat. Beef rib was tender and nice. We wanted it a bit rare :) and it was delish! Dipping sauce was nice but honestly doesn't need it! Oh and the grilled mushroom is good with it. Pork belly was the star of the meal. Had it with 2 week aged grilled kimchi (so special!!) and we got samjang with it, yummm. We were stuffed to the rim and had to take a little box of leftovers home. We were so touched with a little desert rice drink at the end, really rounded out the meal and experience all together. A+ for the service. Amazing job and everything grilled to perfection.

The galbi tang is the best Korean soup that I've ever had. Yes, it's better than soondubu (tofu stew) or budae jjigae (army base stew). Our family makes both of these stews at home but once we discovered the galbi tang here, we order it at least once a month. Ok maybe at least twice a month lol The ajumma here is the sweetest person and I like to tell myself that everything from the soups to the banchan are her homemade recipes. I have no way of confirming if that's even true but even the banchan is delicious. My husband discovered this place when he ordered something here once last winter. I forget what it was but he was given a side of galbi tang in a small, stainless steel bowl and the rest is history. I love this place, I need it to be around forever so please come eat here and enjoy. You're welcome. My only suggestion is that I wish they would sell the banchan sets because I would buy them and eat them with rice. Delicious!
