    Grilled Pork belly

Wow this place is so good! I can't wait to go back. I will totally get their grilled pork belly for two again!! So fun to be able to eat it with the lettuce wraps and the cook on the pork belly is perfection! They explain how to eat it and cook it for you. The soondobu was decent though my medium spice was not that spicy and felt more like mild so I'm going for spicy next time! Altogether a wonderful experience!

Had a great dining experience here! Service was quick and warm. We really enjoyed the fishcake, spicy cucumbers, bean sprouts and kimchi from the banchans. There doesn't seem to be free refills just as a heads up. The seafood pancake really blew me away. I expected a high quality dish but the edges on this pancake were so crunchy and delicious, it was filled with a good amount of seafood too! We got the grilled pork belly to share between 2 ppl and it was more than enough food. The server helped to cook it and I flipped it a bit more to really render out the fat. The combo with onions, bean sprouts and kimchi worked amazingly well together. The dish comes with Samjang and salt and pepper dipping sauces. Would highly recommend this spot! Get the warm barley tea for a nice start to your meal.

Great food, great service, and great ambience. This place serves a variety of Korean food! They also have a good variety of side dishes which were all delicious. First, we got a combo which was the galbi and the assorted tofu soup. It comes with an egg and rice. We also got the beef soup which is really good as well. It has noodles and the beef was very tender. Then we got the grilled pork belly which was made right in front of us. It was very rich and savory with crispy edges. Overall this restaurant was very nice and I would come here again!

At Korean Tofu King you can expect authentic Korean ambiance, service and cuisine. Everything my mother and I had was soul good (yes I mean soul lol). I do have to ask though what is in the salad dressing??? It's seriously so addicting. If you're used to Korean BBQ, this is a different vibe. While you can order some grill top options, they're best known for their combo meal that comes with a protein, rice, assorted vegetables and a soft tofu soup of choice (kimchi, seafood, assorted etc). It's what I recommend you do if trying them for the first time so that way you get a bit of everything, and is even better if you're with multiple people that don't mind sharing. I also recommend their lemonade. It was super refreshing with just enough sweetness to it.

My friend and I stopped by Korea Tofu King for the first time and had a nice experience. We were seated quickly, and the menu had the usual Korean favorites. The seafood pancake was crisp and tasty, and the portions were great. Service and atmosphere were both good, nothing super unique, but a solid place overall.

The service was amazing and the food was good for the most part. My favorite dish was the Seafood Pancake. I didn't care for the Pork Belly as it was surprisingly dry. I really liked the soup I had but forgot what it's called. They bring you lots of side dishes and that's always a bonus.

Grilled Pork Belly was so good! Phone did not eat first... I did . Amazing service 10/10

This place is so good! Total hidden gem. My wife and kids had the kalbi jim and loved it, super flavorful and tender. I went with the spicy kimchi tofu soup and it was amazing. The spice level was perfect, any hotter would've been too much. The banchan was also really tasty, and the service was great too. Definitely recommend coming to check it out!

First time here, and it won't be the last! This easily became a top restaurant. Their banchan are fresh and delicious, and they were generous. I also like that they offer salad as one of them. The tofu soup comes with rice in a hot bowl (just like at Cho Dang). I got medium spicy but might go for spicy next time. I do slightly prefer this meal here over Cho Dang. They were so sweet and checked on us a couple of times. There were plenty of seatings/tables.

Freshest Banchan ever! Kimchi Beef Soup is delicious. Even hot tea service is excellent!

I was a customer of The Gogi for years at this location, but they retired! KOREAN TOFU KING is the new Korean diner at this address. "Tofu King" has a really big menu, not just TOFU. This place is very neat & clean. Staff is very courteous & helpful. The Kim Chee Beef soup with Tofu was tasty & filling. The Ban Chan was so fresh, maybe the best I ever ate! A small Caesar Salad was a bonus, with delicious dressing. Other diners around me were Korean and a table of Chinese ladies, enjoying conversation while dining. KPOP video was up on the giant big screen, but not loud at all. There is a "private section in the front, ask the staff if you can have quiet spot. This is right along Frontage Road of 75 Central XPWY southbound in Plano, Texas, in small parking lot next to Shipley Donuts & Jersey Mike. (Avoid frontage road by turning behind Shipley's from Chisholm Trail.)

The food was delicious ,fresh and probably the best I had in Texas . Service was quick and super nice, you sit your self too. The ambiance was clean traditional and very inviting. Can't wait to come back and bring my friends

The bibim naengmyeon or korean spicy cold noodles had a good amount of that spicy sauce mixture (not very spicy if you're worried about that), and it is refreshing with the kimchi and radish. You can even doctor it up with the vinegar and mustard they provide to compliment the dish. The banchan spread includes kimchi, cucumbers, fish cake, salad, and a korean sweet mashed potato. Great bites to pair with the entrees. Overall, the food came out at a reasonable speed, so service is good. We opted for the Beef and Pork Combo B (difference is bone-in prime rib and bigger quantity). The prime rib was fantastic (cooked medium) and pork jowl was juicy. We also tried the brisket but it was on the leaner side so it was a tad bit chewy. We had an array of banchans like kimchi, cucumber salad, steamed egg, tofu soup, corn, daikon, fish cakes, etc. We also tried the Seafood Pancake. Though it wasn't stuffed with seafood, it was perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Two servers rotated cooking our meats and were so skillful that the meats never burned. They gave us to-go boxes that had aluminum foil lining the bottom so the grease doesn't soak through. That was thoughtful! My only concern was the ventilation system. When we walked in, it was really smokey. I noticed the smoke from our grill not being sucked in by the vent directly over us. Maybe it wasn't on or maybe it wasn't strong enough. Either way, a lot of smoke was filling the restaurant.

The servers are really friendly and have gotten to know us, so they remember what we like and don't and proactively accommodate. While I don't expect this from restaurants in general, it goes a long way and makes for a way better experience. We used to be regulars at a different location which is now under new management, and service & reliability there changed. We switched to this location when we heard that Plano was still run the way we liked, and had some of the former staff. Both turned out to be true, so it made a few minutes' farther drive well worth it. Like many other Korean bbq, Ari has a selection of meats to choose from. While we have some favorites (like seasoned prime short rib) all the ones I've tried them have been very good. I love the soybean soup and the salad with its very tasty dressing. The egg and cheese corn which cook alongside the grill seem are always be kept full if you want. There are many sides provided like kimchi and my favorite pickled radish, and unlike other places where these can be hit or miss, Water is provided, but I like to get the buckwheat tea. One thing I really appreciate is that the quality has reliable every time - there has not been a "the soup just wasn't as flavorful today" or "those radishes weren't pickled so well today" or an overcooked meat yet. These are small things, but they show care and attention, and are things I value a lot.
