Food are very great, the boss is so nice and friendly. We felt so welcomed every time we went and will go back again for sure!!

I want to point out that it is frustrating to order food from here. There is a language barrier and they don't listen. They still have a profile on chowbus and uber eats, I placed an order on chowbus and it went through. 20 mins later, I get a text that it's not made yet so I called and they said they don't take orders from chowbus anymore. I told them to take off their profile so people don't orders anymore. They then repeated and told me to call chowbus. I said can I place an order then since my order didn't go through? What did they tell me? Please call chowbus. So let me get this straight, can't order on chowbus, can't order over the phone bc you don't listen. How do you make money? Ok not coming back anymore. I went to maht gak instead

This is my favorite chinese spot. I take my mom here all the time, prices are great, food is authentic, and service is great as well. Food is made quickly, I never have to wait too long.

Had seen this in my TikTok feed and was super excited to give it a try. We had a little bit of a lot. We tried the spicy chicken noodle stir fry, beef noodle, bread on skewer, beef skewer and chicken skewer. Felt the chicken skewers were well seasoned and came to the table hot right off the grill. The noodle was the best part of the two stir fry's. The food was good but I would not call it great. Don't get me wrong if I were I. The area I could stop in but I would not got out of my way for it. We also had the fried pita bread special stir fry. It was more like french fries than anything else.

Definitely come here for the skewers! The seasoning is different imo but I just loved it!! We tried so many types of skewers, and beef was my favorite! I was expecting a really flavorful beef noodle soup like Taiwan style, but it wasn't too bad! Their noodles are freshly made and hand pulled daily so the texture is amazing! Beers are super cheap and they are open late. Great spot for late night bites because of that!

This is my 5th or 6th time coming to this location. I was introduced to Fat Ni by my husband and his friends, but we were at the Carrollton location. I can't recommend their skewers enough. We typically get the lamb, beef, and bacon wrapped cilantro. I can't speak for any other skewers. You also must try their hibachi tofu and cabbage. Both are EXCELLENT. Also, make sure and hit up the sauce bar. Thank me later. The service is always quick and efficient. Always love coming here. Until next time

I'm so happy Fat ni opened a location in Plano because it's only 10 minutes away from me! I'm a huge, huge, huge fan of Chinese skewers. Cumin lamb is by far my favorite, and Fat Ni does them so well. I also LOVE hand pulled noodles, and Fat ni's are delicious (make sure to add some sauce or chili flakes to enhance the taste). My friend and I accidentally left the restaurant without paying, and the worker/manager was really nice and understanding. Service is great, food comes out fast, and it's also a clean establishment. I highly recommend Fat Ni. Their food is delicious and also reasonably priced. They're also open very late, and I bet the food would taste even better as an after drinking or after clubbing meal.

Fatni has been a staple for us since they've come to DFW. The food is delicious and have great flavors. Northern Chinese style skewers with other noodle and appetizers. Our go to orders are the liang pi, shredded potatoes, lamb skewers, grilled cabbage, lamb noodle soup, and cumin lamb noodles. They make the noodles fresh by hand, so they come out very chewy and fresh. Skewers are grilled to order and come out hot and the meat is juicy. Liangpi is among the best I've had in DFW. It's the thin and wide style but the noodles are very silky and have great texture. Highly recommend coming here for authentic northern Chinese food.

Skewers were so delicious, and the spices they use for seasoning is addictive. My personal favorite skewer was the pork belly, and my boyfriend's was the beef. They have a neat sauce and seasoning station at the back as well. Service wasn't bad, and it was nice and homely inside. Highly recommend this place for some yummy meat skewers!

We went here because my wife wanted to eat here and try this place out. We expected the place to be a little bit bigger as the mana buffet is next door and much bigger. We ordered 1. Lamb 2. Beef 3. Chicken Gizzard 4. Chicken Wing 5. Scallop 6. Bacon Enoki Mushroom 7. Scallop 8. Squid 9. Stir Fried Beef 10. Wheat Starch Noodle 11. Potato 12. Lamb Kidney We found these all to be good. What I loved the most is the beef, it was nice and tender. Service was alright we got our food on time. There is a sauce bar as well, but it is not too special, just the siracha, vinegar and soy sauce. The food might not look too big, but it does fill you up and it is good. You can spend quite a bit of money just to try this and that. I would come back here again.

It's an Asian bbq place. I had the shredded potatoes tasty and flavored the small Plates has big enough to share. The scallop sticker was good . You can also have some sauce to dips your meat. To have the full Expérience I suggested to come with friends that way you can share plates and taste different flavor.

Came in and it was my first time. My friends raved about it. It was just ok. Everything tasted the same but just ok. Our server and the host sat at the table next to us and hung out and ate. I didn't want to disturb them while they ate but I hate my soup. It was beef soup but it was only tendons. As you can tell I left the whole bowl waiting on them to finish but when we finally told them (after they ate their food) but they said they couldn't take it off the tab because we waited to long? Whatever that means. Also we got charged for pork buns that we never received and the server and us had to argue with the host about it. Never going again but enjoyed the beer tower I guess. 36. Beef Noodle Soup Would give it 0 if I could! Very disappointed & my friends raved about this place actually told them they didn't care if they came back do better as a restaurant.

But the reviews were suspiciously glowing, so curiosity (and hunger) won. We pulled up and I took one look at the building: older, unremarkable, zero curb appeal. Classic "meh." Inside, several large round tables with lazy Susans, red tablecloths, and Chinese lanterns. They first sat us in a booth but I requested later on to be moved to a large round table since we ordered A LOT. But back to when we first sat in the booth - As a Chinese woman, the second I spotted the older seats with ripped upholstery, it hit me like a culinary prophecy: this place was going to serve me some incredible, authentic Chinese food. I don't know what it is, but there's an inverse law of Chinese restaurants: the less fancy the exterior (and the more the booth looks like it's survived several natural disasters), the better the food. Apparently they skip Instagram-worthy renovations and put the budget where it belongs--on the plate! This is now hands down in my top 3 favorite Chinese restaurant in North Dallas - I can even say it's on the very top. I haven't forgotten about the staff. They deserve 10 stars. Super nice!

We arrived on a Wednesday evening around 7 p.m., and surprisingly, we were the only customers there, considering it was peak dinner time. We also discovered that we needed to pre-order the duck in advance. Luckily, the lady informed us that there was one available for us, but it would take about 30 minutes. We ordered the crispy cucumber salad, xiao long bao, and the dry-fried string beans. The dry-fried string beans were my favorite. The string beans had a delightful crisp texture and a flavorful taste. The cucumber salad was also good, but some parts were a bit soggy. The XLB skin was too thick and chewy, and it didn't taste like the usual soup dumplings, which was disappointing. I was excited for the duck, but I was honestly disappointed when it arrived. The portions were quite small, considering it was a whole duck. It wasn't carved tableside, which was a letdown. Some parts of the duck were dry, and the skin wasn't crispy enough. To add to the disappointment, they charge extra for almost everything. If you want more pancakes or their homemade duck sauce (which tasted like black bean sauce), you'll have to pay an additional $5. Another thing to note is that they are BYOB, so you can bring your own alcohol. However, the menu pictures on Yelp are outdated, and they only offer whole Peking duck, not half orders. Overall, the food was just okay, and I'll probably try a different spot when I'm in the mood for duck again.

One of the best preparations yet. The Singapore noodle combo and Xao Long Bao did not disappoint... More importantly, the service we received was attentive, courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt. Sadly, the eggplant with garlic sauce is the ONLY reason a star is withheld for this review...it detracted from traditional Chinese style; notes of garlic eviscerated by the chef's sweetening to satisfy an American palette...Why fix something that's unbroken?...I get it. The restaurant has to cater to its customers who populate this mix use (business/lease residential) area at the NW corner of Alma and Hwy 121, but doesn't that limit its draw?
