If you're in the mood for Chinese or Korean noodles and don't want to decide until you get there, head over to Legacy Food Court in Plano off Legacy near Jusgo and Mitsuwa Asian grocery stores. You will see a variety of Asian restaurants within a food hall atmosphere where you can sample Chinese dumplings, noodles, beef rolls from LJ Kitchen, lamb hand-pulled noodles next door, Hakka rice and noodle dishes, Korean seafood Jjamppong/ jjajjangmyeong a few doors down. I highly recommend LJ Kitchen for the amazing flavors and textures not common in traditional American Chinese cuisine like ma-la beef Offal noodle soup, shredded potato cold dish for starters. Owners are really nice and don't take my shortcuts with their food. Their green leek pie, pan fried buns, potstickers are really good. Ask for hot oil and black vinegar to add to their soups, noodles, dumpling dipping sauces. You might see me there.

Def recommended! The seasame cold noodles were much chewier than I'm used to but it was good! The bao were very homemade tasting, the dough was very good. Raisha got a potato sandwhich which was also surprisingly good! Would come back.

This food stall is located inside of the Food Court. The food court has various vendors serving at sorts of Asian cuisines. The dumplings are made to order. The filling is flavorful and juicy. No dipping sauce required! The service is quick. You order, they provide you with a buzzer, the buzzer goes off when your food is ready. This place gets pretty croton the evening, so upon arrival scout out a seat and park your stuff or persons in your group before ordering food. The ambiance is ultra casual- just come comfy.

We were waiting for a To Go order from another place inside this food court when we stumbled across LJ Kitchen. The rolled ice cream was interesting so we ordered the strawberry with oreo cookies & fresh strawberries! Oh yum! This is definitely a different delivery and approach to ice cream. It didn't disappoint, it was fun, tasty, refreshing and entertaining, lol. Lovely experience! We will be back.

Wow, what great Taiwanese food and wait.... wait... are you ready for this?! LJ Kitchen is at a food court, nothing wrong just that I am surprise to find great authentic food, at a food court . My first time visit to Legacy Food Court back in April of 2021, but I didn't stop at LJ Kitchen, My sister & mom got their food from here and after sharing with me, I was shocked at how tasty the food was. I got my food elsewhere wich I also enjoyed. She got the green leek pie, preserved egg and pork congee, and won ton soup with noodle's special. Since I enjoyed it so much I had to make a stop during my recent which was this past September. It was just my husband and I, We were in the mood for some comfort food so we just got an order of preserved egg and pork congee. Not only is this comfort food but also my favorite entree!! We never ate this for so long and it sure hits the spot! The price is so reasonable for all the items they have. Would you believe only $4.99! and the serving size is more than enough for 2. We really enjoyed this, I like that the preserved egg and pork is cut up tiny so its easier to chew. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is, I wish they could be more friendlier. I think its the language barrier when I asked for "shoyu" and chili sauce, they didn't understand me I have to learn to say soy sauce & also asked for extra utensil and bowl so I could share with my other half. Overall, I totally recommend LJ Kitchen, I would come back here again when I visit Dallas. You would be surprised too at how tasty the food is and how cheap also. I wonder if Mikey Chen would stop by and make a vid of LJ Kitchen?? hehe. Check them out at the Legacy Food Court they are located on the other end of the food court. Check out the pastry, moon cake right in front. I can't wait to be back again!!

Locate in Legacy food court, these buns from LJ kitchen are always good. Especially, the sauce with their special spicy chili is absolutely delicious. *Chili oil is very fresh, tasty and spicy. Guess what? They also sell the whole big cup of chili oil

Food is delicious and authentic, fresh homemade. Crepe was so good, wish they would have one piece of lettuce though. Kids love the buns. Will come back to try something else next time!

l can't believe this place isn't more popular! Their food is amazing! We called in to pickup and it was ready in 20mins. The owner gave us a free matcha frap because we spent over $30. The portions are huge! Lots of leftovers for us to enjoy tomorrow 1) Lamb Soup with Vermicelli Noodles: I've never had anything like this. The soup has a delicate taste, and somehow they got the lamb just right - no gamey taste! Served with a side of a type of bean paste and white pepper sauce. We just added the sauce in and the flavors got even better. Love the peppery aftertaste. Highly recommend! 2) Green Leek (Chives) Pie (I included a picture of how it looks like inside): don't let the simple name fool you, this pie's texture was in between a good crepe and tortilla. Idk how they get that slight chewy texture in but it's wonderful. The pie is stuffed with green chives, glass noodles, minced pork/chicken, even some scrambled egg! This was the star of the show for us! 3) Teriyaki Chicken Burrito (I included a picture of how it looks like inside): the burrito wrap had green onions infused in it and again, that slight chewy texture The teriyaki chicken was flavored really well. Highly recommend this as well! 4) Pork and Green Onion Buns: someone else in this group described the texture of these buns to be in-between a regular bao and a dumpling, I agree! Very well done and it comes with a side of some amazing soy vinaigrette sauce and a surprisingly spicy chili oil. The homemade soy milk is delicious too! Check them out y'all!

We ordered just one thing here, the steamed buns. They were so good! Definitely get them with the chili oil/sauce. They were pillowy soft, and tasted great. Definitely will be back to try more from the menu.

Restaurant is in this food court

This place was unclaimed by owner, but it looked like it was authentic Chinese street food. So, I tried it. My impression was ... Great. I love street food rather than expensive fancy food, so this one is genuine. My background ... I was born in Japan and used to live in Taiwan and Japan, have traveled the mainland of China for weeks. The place was not outstanding, so I could find the place since there was no sign of LJ Kitchen. It is located at the east side of the supermarket and it is inside of the food court. You can find this restaurant right after you entered the food court, also you will see several other restaurants such as Asian fusion (Japanese), Korean etc. There are so many options you can choose in the menu, so it made me think for a while, but my order was handmade roll and green leek pie. (I wanted to try sweets though) Green leek pie was awesome and best. It contains the leek/chiense chives (jie cai), egg and glass noodle as well and flavor was so rich and outside crepe part was really soft, but flexible and has good thickness. Price and amount is also great and not as oily as I expected, so healthier choice. For me, this is one of the best street food. Handmade roll was okay, since the crepe part was too thick. If crepe part wasn't this thick, it would be much better, but I don't want much fried breadcrumb in it. (I don't like oily food, so I don't like you tiao which is deep fried bread stick) Anyway, there are many other options I can try, but I would say they are all worth trying.

I really have to recommend this place.. the food is good and the customer service guy was sweet. He even gave us a free drink -- eating dinner

The food was decent but we don't plan to return as we have similar, if not tastier, options closer to home.

We waited for 30 minutes for just two fried rice/ noodle lunch boxes. They totally messed up the orders, and that caused the delay

I always see and smell this restaurant, and was finally able to make it in. Small and cozy, with…read morethe nicest servers! Food came out super fast, and was hot and delicious. We almost ordered noodles but the server steered us in a different direction (citing we may not like it as it is culturally different) and we appreciated that! Everything we ordered was very good... soup dumplings, moo shu pork, kung pao chicken, and Wok-Fried Beef Flat Noodle Definitely recommend!

We have dined at this location often over the last five years. Our recent visit (yesterday…read moreevening)was less than satisfying. We were seated ( party of four)next to a larger table in the corner of the restaurant. When we ordered, they only took our appetizer order and we had to wait a long period of time before they would take our entree order. During this time, a large table next to us filled up with 6 people who were making so much noise that our table could not even hear each other's conversation. The larger table occupants were loud, rude , and obnoxious. We asked our waitress to do something and the wait staff ignored our request to intervene on our behalf for calmer demeanor from them. Finally , someone from my table had to address this personally and confronted the loud group and asked if they could tone down their enthusiasm so we, and other patrons, could enjoy our evening at the restaurant. They only cut the noise for a few minutes and started again with the loud voices and over boisterous laughter . We were greatly disappointed with the staff and the overall establishment. We normally have a nice dinner with the attentive wait staff and enjoy our menu choices. Because our concerns were not addressed, we don't feel respected and wonder if we will dine again here.
