Replied quickly, within an hour. Dennis gave me all the information I needed and answered all my questions. He did not pressure me into renting a storage unit immediately, just told me to get back with him when I was ready. Great prices, I will definitely be renting a spot when I get my you-know-what together. I have pretty much everything I've ever purchased along with the box it came in read more

Absolutely predatory business. The advertised, non promotional rate was $142. Within three months they're raising the rate to $218. These guys will use the inconvenience of moving your stuff against you to hold you hostage to a new, higher rate with no justification. EXPECT TO PAY 50% MORE THAN WHAT YOU INITIALLY AGREED TO. read more

Very secure and clean facility. Great customer service and unbeatable prices. Staff were very helpful too.

I wanted to let you know about my experience with the west Seattle secure space location . It was a Sunday on August 2,2026 when I came to the office to access my new 10x30 storage unit space #GC04 on first floor Unfortunately, it was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. First, the store manager -Chonthicha Sumattra at the west Seattle secure space location took me in circles trying to find the unit. She should have known where GC04 was located. She took me around the building and down to the basement/first floor. Once we entered the basement entrance, she turned right instead of left. I even reminded her, "Aren't we supposed to go left to get to GC04?" She then replied, "Oh." I don't think that's an appropriate way to assist a customer. I had already completed the online ID verification and live photo, so my storage unit should have already been unlocked, but it wasn't. On top of that, she also messed up my gate access PIN. Another issue was that she kept my ID after verifying it. She never returned it to me before I left the office. I went back to my storage unit and started moving my belongings in, only to realize my ID was missing. I had to return to the office to ask for it. At first, she told me she had already given it back. When I asked again, she finally said, "Oh, I have it," and then returned it to me. That should never have happened. I ask her if Tony the store manager assistant was working that Sunday. She should've answered yes or no instead she jump to a different topic that has nothing to do about my new storage unit space Then She told me that Tony the store manager assistant was off work on Sunday and Monday. Then she said that if I wanted to find him, I could go to his church and find him there. I didn't understand why she brought that up because it had nothing to do with the issue I was asking about regarding my storage unit. The most concerning part happened the following day that I didn't expected. I was getting ready to head out of the house to go run some errands when I saw her driving down my street at first I thought it was some random stranger that was driving by but few moments later I realized and recognized her face and when I did she was staring at me in a way that made me feel very uncomfortable. I don't know what that was about, but it felt inappropriate and unsettling. I believe this behavior should be reported. I don't want anyone else to have the kind of experience I had. If she treated me this way, I'm concerned about how she may treat other customers as well. People be aware don't rent your storage at west Seattle secure space location . They are a scammer they will discount and advertise on there web site for half off 2 month Once you rent there storage unit already they will raise your rent up in a couple month. The area manager bark was slow and rude . I file my complaint about the store manager -Chonthicha Sumattra instead of listening to my side of the story he automatically took her side and he kept on pushing me and making assumption on the phone conversation we had where it got to a point where I had to call him out , then he hung up the phone. He was discriminating me and rude the whole time during our phone conversation . Bart was the area management that I've talk to. The past Monday August 31,2026 I just move out of secure space west Seattle location. I didn't voluntary left the storage unit #BG04 a 10x30 on first floor/basement , After the phone conversation with Bark the area manager that day few days later I got a note on my storage unit stating that I was terminated. But on the notification letter secure space mentioned they didn't have to give me a reason why they terminated me. I rented the 10x30 storage unit on August 1 ,2026 within a weeks I got the termination letter from bark the area manager. Bark has a rude attitude and poor customer service. People don't bother renting at west Seattle secure space. They can terminate your lease without giving you a reason. Be careful. Don't waste your time and money for this garbage junk read more

It's fine. A space to store your garbage. Be prepared for the bait-and-switch. Your rates will start low and immediately start increasing every few months. That's how these places operate. If you're aware of that, you'll be fine here. Nice space for the most part, new building and climate controlled. read more

BEWARE: QUARTERLY LEASE INCREASES. I moved my storage until from Ballard to this facility in June. The starting lease was very reasonable for a 7.5 x 10 unit - $110/month. My first month even received a 50% discount. By October my lease had increased by 35% to $148 without notice. I called their corporate office to see if this was a billing error, it was not. They reprice their spaces every 3 months. This was not disclosed when I signed the agreement. I would not have spent the time and money to move an existing unit to a new one knowing the price would change 4x a year. It's absurd. read more

Great value and easy to get set up with Marvin!! Close to Seattle U and just the right amount of space we needed. Month to month billing works great for college students! read more

Clean space and bathroom, staff is friendly. It's convenient that it stays open later than most places in Seattle although the office closes around 4. read more

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. The manager Vivian or Vivien, whatever, is incredibly rude to patrons here. Completely disrespectful and needs hospitality training urgently. I will never ever recommend coming here to anyone. I'm so disappointed with the way the management treats patrons and will be spreading the word to family, friends, neighbors to never bring business here. read more

DO NOT RENT HERE! Expect constant price increases every 3 months! In just one year, my rent has more than doubled, a 118% price increase from what I originally signed up for!! Current customers are charged nearly triple what new customers pay and what's advertised online. They provide no justification for these massive hikes in prices other than a generic "economic costs rising". Save yourself the frustration and rent elsewhere. read more

Really appreciated the staff helping me get ready to use my storage unit, and making sure I had access as soon as possible. Thank you!!

BEWARE! Securespace is Horrible. Unsafe. Predatory. Incompetent temporary staff supported by awful corporate money-hungry jerks. DO NOT SET UP AUTO-PAY when they screw up your lease (and they will) and then they will overcharge. Predatory. 28 page lease they will use against you when they screw up. Computer system is so bad the lease doesn't match the bill. Do not make appointments with Malone, no training and can't remember anything. The company will make you pay for his mistakes. No staff, they can't keep managers. The person responsible is Dana she has never even been to the store. She is AWFUL, RUDE AND THINKS CUSTOMERS ARE THE ENEMY. Report this company! read more

Predatory pricing, they will jack up your rent multiple times in the first year. They jacked mine up to twice what I was originally paying by the end of my first year. Stay away from these scammers read more

Excellent service by the office staff! Helpful, efficient, knowledgeable. Safe and secure.

After posting my challenges with Secure Space Storage West Seattle on Yelp, I finally received an email to contact management. I have been in phone conversations with several different facility managers over the past 2 months w/out resolution and have never been "allowed" to go higher even though I have asked repeatedly. I sent an email and a day later received this reply, "Thank you for reaching out to us. We have received your email and ......escalated it to upper management for their review. ...... We will be sure to follow up with you as soon as we have an update. If you have any additional information to share in the meantime, please don't hesitate to let us know. Best regards, Virtual Ops Team" nothing more today:(( We will all see what they do to resolve a multitude of issues before the Attorney general office and the Better Business Burea gets involved read more

Just started the move in but so far easy peasy. Saved me $240 the first month compared to the same size unit at Public Storage on Capitol Hill!! Should have moved here a year ago!!! DO NOT RENT HERE. We started renting a unit here and within less than year a 90% increase with no justification other than "market adjustments." This kind of predatory pricing is exploitative, especially when they lure you in with a reasonable rate only to drastically hike it once you're settled in. Look elsewhere unless you're willing to risk constant, unpredictable rate hikes. I will be reporting this business to the Washington State Attorney General's Office. For those who have had this happen as I can see there are a lot of other people, even in the absence of specific regulations on rent increases, if you believe that Secure Space Storage has engaged in unfair or deceptive practices, you have the option to file a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General's Office. The Consumer Protection Division offers an informal complaint resolution service to assist consumers To file a complaint: Online: Visit the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division's complaint page and follow the instructions to submit your complaint online. I would rate no stars if possible AWFUL, non-responsive, overcharges you and keeps your money, says the check is in the mail, but it may take 10 weeks, (it has been 6). After posting a terrible review on Yelp there was a response, I even got an email 6 weeks ago saying my case had been elevated to upper management...(only after I posted that horrible Yelp review) NOTHING. The poor people who run the facilities, they have no power and are forbidden to let you communicate directly with anyone higher up, even the area manager, no phone number, no email address. Live cockroaches, running thru the hallways, forbidden to liet you see any records of infestation control. They said they would write me a new lease at today's price, and quoted me $110. When I went online it said the price was, first month $37, thereafter $67. A company of scammers read more

Tony R is excellent. knowledgeable, helpful, solution oriented, and a really nice guy too!

I am absolutely tired of getting jacked around with inflated pricing when I'm a captive audience. Where have the days of fair practice and taking care of the customer gone? These business don't exist without our business. Now they don't have mine... and hopefully yours neither. SecureSpace management has terrible pricing practices. Be aware. Find a better storage company. That's what I'm now forced to do. I started renting in August. This morning I received notification they will increase my monthly rent by 45%! Forty Five Percent! That's 10 times average inflation! Their explanation: A market reassessment. My assessment of their reassessment: They're clearly doing this to make more money and feel like they can get away with it because now all my stuff is moved in. Here are the details. My first couple months rent were the agreed rate of $142/mo. Today, a couple months later I receive an email stating they will increase by 45% to $206. Nuts. There's no way the Seattle storage market is now valued 45% higher. They clearly have a lot of units unoccupied. They should be focused on finding more customers to increase occupancy... not gouging and angering the existing customers that help pay their bills. I've spoken with their call center rep and the local manager Michelle. As expected, they're no help. They can't do anything. This is a corporate adjustment. My only choice at this point is to move out, find a better company and let you know what a bunch of boneheads SecureSpace is. This will be expensive and time consuming. They know exactly what they're doing. They're expecting people to pay the highly inflated rate because it's harder to move. I have a 10x15 foot storage unit filled to the ceiling. My entire household. Several thousand pounds of boxes, furniture, piano, etc. It took about 4 hours to unload the truck. I'm angry. And, I'm a patient, generally happy and really reasonable person. I expect (if money and fair treatment is important to you) you will be angry too if you do business with SecureSpace. Shame on them. read more

DO NOT RENT HERE! I rented a unit for 2 months with a 50% deal, but I was billed and charged the full price for the second month. I inquired by email and in person numerous times, but they are unwilling to issue me a refund. Michelle, who claims to manage the West Seattle location, called me dumb and told me I am free to move out. There is no possibility to talk to anybody else and there is no corporate office. The one number listed on their website I called numerous times and when finally somebody from the Philippines answered. She couldn't provide me with any help. Other issues are the loading dock is not covered so when it rains your stuff gets wet. The front door elevator is not working for weeks now. The units are open at the top and thus not secure. There is no climate control, it is cold. The timers on the lights are very short and I get blacked out constantly. read more

My son is also a victim of the significant price increase (about 50% more than he is currently paying) after 4 months in the unit. He is in the military and is currently out of the country, so it is extremely difficult for him to try and reach out. This is very frustrating - I can understand adjusting the price after a year, but after 4 months just smacks of predatory actions. read more

Heads Up: After 90 days in my unit, I was notified that my rent was increasing starting in the 5th month of my rental period. The increase is 29% from $93, which I had planned on, to $120 which is not what was advertised. Allegedly, this is standard procedure - a competitive price to get you in (I'm not talking about the 1/2 off first few months), and then an exorbitant increase in the 5th month. What are you going to do - move again? CALCULATE 29% INCREASE ON THE STANDARD RATE, if you want to know what your rate will really be in 5 months. read more
