UPDATE: got somebody to call me back to tell me why the website price is lower than what I'm paying. She said the "website price is to lure new customers and they will get a rate increase to match what I'm paying in six months." We gave them a date of when we wanted to stop our service and since it was less than the full 2nd month, they gave us back a few bucks to compensate. The storage facility is very secured. Its a one code to use thats easy to memorize as its your own code to get into the facility, out of the facility, and use the elevator. Unfortunately when youre moving things out and into the elevator, its timed. So you have to rush to use the code, get yourself into the elevator, and click that floor button. Side note: there is limited parking inside so if youre having a lot of people help you, be mindful.

Service here has always been pretty kind the few times that I've needed help, and they've always been super responsive if I need help getting payment links reset or changed. Parking lot here is a little on the small side but I've never been here when it's been crazy busy. They also have dollies to use which is always helpful for getting things to and from my car! Will definitely continue to give them my storage business as a result of years of positive experiences! It's a little farther than I would like, but it's easily accessible when I'm on my way up to Seattle anyways, so I make it work.

For the first several years, things were fine -- mostly because of Nicole, the former manager who actually cared and knew what she was doing. I also had 24-hour access, which was essential for me because I store expensive tools I use for work. I got this unit specifically because of that 24/7 access. But once Nicole left, everything went downhill -- fast. Suddenly my on-time payments weren't being recognized, and I started getting flooded with emails and calls claiming I hadn't paid. Totally false. Then came the spotty access. Sometimes I'd get off work and be locked out of my unit for no reason (code wouldn't work). For someone who depends on secure, reliable access -- this was a nightmare. I had always paid at the end of the pay cycle -- and Nicole never had an issue with that. But after years of doing things the same way, I decided to adjust my payment date to avoid the drama. I even paid extra to cover the shift in date. What happened? I showed up, and my unit was locked. To top it off, the new guy working there had a major attitude problem. Didn't explain anything, didn't apologize -- just walked over, unlocked my unit in silence, and walked away like I was the problem. For the last 2.5 years, it's been pure chaos. Constant employee turnover, staff who don't know what they're doing, and a total lack of customer service. It's like they're running a revolving door operation over there. I've since moved to a much better storage facility -- indoors, cleaner, more professional, and half the price. I should have left years ago. Until Storage One at Benson gets its act together and starts hiring competent, respectful staff, do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere. If you value peace of mind, reliability, and decent customer service, this is NOT the place for you.

There were also live ants all over the floor. It was truly disgusting and with all the mouse feces it made most of the items in the unit unusable and basically trash. I don't know how long this unit has been sitting but almost every piece was covered in dozens of mouse feces and several items had been chewed through. There was no food in the unit whatsoever so nothing to draw the rodents and insects inside, I'm just guessing this is their standard conditions. If I were choosing a place to keep my items, I would not choose this storage unit location due to the infestations. I also will not be bidding on an auction at this location again.

Saturday afternoon, with less than 24 hours of notice till start of event, I called them very last minute with zero hope. We sold our house and needed a place to hold our belongings for 4-6 months until our new house was ready. My sister had recommended PODS because she have moved a few times but I spent quite a bit of time doing research online and getting quotes and we ended up choosing UNITS. We chose UNITS because the price was equally competitive but the reviews were better, the containers were clean and new looking. Plus we liked the 16' size and the more hard-sided construction of the containers. I must say, we definitely made the right choice. Dan and his team has just been fantastic. They are easy to work with and quick to respond to inquiries. Our move in date has continued to slip so we have needed to access the containers a few times but Dan made it super easy. In fact, just this morning we had an immediate need to access our container and even though Dan was not at the warehouse, within 4 hours he had found a way to get our container pulled and available for us. The customer service is just top notch. We also like that our containers are secure in an indoor warehouse and the equipment used to move them causes very little shift in contents. Oh, and we were also totally impressed how much we could cram in there - the weight limit is quite generous! Thank you Dan for the great service. read more

Based on the excellent service that we received during our recent move, I felt that un update to our previous rating was well-deserved. From our first encounter with Dan, to the deliveries and pick-ups by Jon and Steve, I felt we were always given the best customer service. Throughout our move, Dan was responsive and informative to every question or concern we posed. We used two UNITS containers for our move - one for furniture and the other for household goods and miscellaneous stuff accumulated. For our second UNIT, I determined that we would need furniture pads and extra straps to secure our load. I had not originally ordered these items and called Dan to see if I could swing by and pick these things up. Dan indicated that would not be necessary, and personally delivered these items to our doorstep! Telephone calls and email messages were promptly responded to, without fail. For anyone considering an option for storage and/or moving of their household goods and furniture, I would highly recommend using Dan and his company - you will not be disappointed. I can not be happier with UNITS Moving and Portable Storage than I am now. Dan Domingo handled a very tough situation for my family when an other company could not. There was a storage facility in Shoreline that had a fire in their building and unfortunately our 10' X 30' locker was directly under it. We had smoke damage and black water damage from the extinguishing of the fire that went throughout all of our personal belongings. We had to remove and sort through generations of family heirlooms. Dan was able to line up the UNITS starting ON THE DAY that I called him from out of the blue. We had three UNITS in three days picked up and stored then two weeks later had them delivered to our new home in Lynnwood. We worked out a time schedule that worked out for both parties. Their driver Ethan (I think) was so good that I could not believe how small of a spot he could place the trailers. Great job!!! I have already recommended UNITS to friends and will continue to do so! What a great company! We found out late in the day on a Friday that there was a hick up with the closing on our home and we would not close until after the weekend. This put us in a HUGE bind as we were set to move out of our old place over on Saturday. We had to quickly find a solution to put our belongings in storage while we stayed in a hotel. Dan Domingo went out of his way to accomodate our needs! He and his crew were professional and oozed with customer service. When we unloaded our pod, we expected to find something broken from the transport (due to us not properly packing the unit). We were overjoyed when we saw every single box in the same condition as when we put it in. This tells me our unit was handled with TLC. I cannot say enough good about them. I cold-called Dan during a frantic search on a Friday afternoon, after a botched delivery with a bigger, better-known mobile storage company. Huge move planned for the following day. But, my driveway was 6 inches shy of their 12' requirement and so all of a sudden, the whole plan was DOA right at the last minute. After striking out with every other conceivable alternative, and 5pm approaching quickly, I got a call back from Dan. As we talked I was a little wary - mostly because everything seemed perfect - what was the catch? Turns out, there wasn't one. I finally finished arranging the details around 7:30pm probably, and Dan showed up just as planned, first thing Saturday morning. It was amazing. Dan was great, the units are clean and new, and they can fit basically anywhere. I cannot recommend UNITS enough!!! I called several storage/POD companies and had decided to go with a different company. Dan e-mailed me directly (I had looked into a quote previously) and convinced me to use UNITS instead. The Yelp reviews were great and the company is local so I decided to cancel my other POD and go with UNITS. UNITS lived up to every single review and more. UNITS accommodated every request we made. Their POD was so clean, it even smelled good. Dan responded to e-mail promptly - even outside of normal business hours. We had our POD delivered and then had an issue with our new house closing. We were asked to remove the POD immediately and Dan made it happen. They already had a full schedule and he came himself to pick up the UNIT at 8:30 at night. We had to pack and store a LOT of boxes prior to selling our house, and we chose Units based on reputation, customer service, and price. Dan Domingo was wonderful and helped me plan it all out. They dropped off a container and let us load our boxes on our own time frame, then they stored them in that locked container until it was time to move, at which time they moved our container to our new house. We had all the time we needed to pack and unpack. The price is great, the scheduling was highly accommodating, the container was top of the line, our stored items were in pristine condition, and working with such great people is worth it all on its own. We love UNITS! This is the 2nd time we've used them - the first was cleaning out our house to put it on the market, and this time was for a major remodel. Dan is so responsive and their customer service is fabulous, I just knew who to call this time when I was ready. Both the movers we used and our contractors commented on the quality of the UNIT itself, saying it was much nicer than others they had seen. These guys are awesome! Excellent service and they solve problems. We recently moved from Fife to Pasco, their competitors would not even consider doing anything outside of their business model. These guys figured out how they could make it work. Even when the closing dates on our house slipped, they cheerfully made adjustments at no additional charge. The first thing that impressed me about Units is they actually answer the phone when you call. Their prices are reasonable and they delivered quickly. It was clean inside and out and didn't have a rusty old look. They got this Unit up a very steep, narrow driveway and into a small area next to the garage with remote control! A…read morefew days ago, the furniture store called to inform me that they had just received my items (a bit ahead of schedule) and that I needed to pick up my order within two weeks. I contacted their preferred third party delivery service (Boush) and was told the pieces could be picked up and delivered to me within the week. I was given a three hour window (between 10 - 1) for delivery. I was pleasantly surprised when Roy and Ernesto arrived exactly at 10:00 and called 20 minutes before their arrival. They were delivering to a top floor unit in the heart of downtown so there were a few more logistical issues than just delivering to a home on a quiet, neighborhood street. Roy and Ernesto were absolute professionals. They maneuvered the parking, hallways and elevator with precision and skill. There were multiple large, heavy pieces (along with an oversized mattress) and they (not only) had everything unpacked, set up and cleaned up...they also took away the old furniture. All within 40 minutes. They were friendly, professional, efficient and (most of all) careful with my delivery. When it comes to the value, I'm going to say this: Time is Money. $400 took care of delivery, set up and hauling away the old furniture...all within forty minutes. This was well worth the cost. My own time, muscle power, sanity and patience were not things I was willing to gamble on. Boush took care of it all for me. Highly recommended.

And FAST. The load and unload time was extremely impressive, and the men who worked on our move- Tom, Cale, and Tyler, were so respectful and considerate- totally went above and beyond. Not a single item was broken or damaged; which is to be expected with pretty much every move. My wife was also extremely impressed with their work ethic and manners. They are great with dogs too;) Huge thank you to the John Volken Academy Movers who did our 6+ hour drive (one way!) move, and the ones on the backend who got us scheduled within a weeks time, and for an unbeatable price.

Cascade Moving is the only moving company to use in Seattle…read more I've had 3 moves in 3 years. Cascade Moving was, hands-down, the best moving experience among the companies used for a local move within (or just outside) the City of Seattle. Pricing for labor and materials fell at the mid-point of the bids collected for a move needed in early September 2025; however, it was the customer service experience that influenced the choice to use Cascade Moving over its competitors. As I told the company in a quick email I sent at the end of the move, the move went so well for me to want to say, with the upmost sincerity, that I had had the best time ever. Aside from the fact of how well cared for my belongings were treated during the move, for me just being there with the crew (watching how well they worked together and the camaraderie that they had with one another) was amazing. In that moment, I had said (and as I had told the crew after the move was finished) that I had had a good time during my moving day and to offer a "thank you" to everyone at the company who were involved in making my move a success. Quality of service began with no request for me to complete an online form to inventory my own belongings: I had a 30-year professional mover show up at my house, physically walk with me through my home to asses my things and inventory my belongings by looking into (and at) every piece of furniture, and write-up a bid as the assessment progressed. An estimate was emailed after one business day. No pressure was given to book a moving date immediately (no multiple texts or emails reminders). No pressure was given to make a security deposit to reserve the truck (no multiple texts or email reminders demanding pre-payment). Space was given to allow time for me to collect other bids and make sure that Cascade Moving was a good fit for me and my inventory. Communication was clear and open and to-the-point. There was even an offer to supply a ream of packing paper and a couple rolls of tape (at no cost) to help me get my move started. Quality of service continued on the day before the move when an outside complication affected the load. The same representative came back out to the house to assess the issue, make slight adjustments to the bid, and offer assurances that the move would go smoothly because the crew would be able to handle the last-minute changes. Quality of service continued on the day of the move at the point of origination. The truck showed up at precisely the time scheduled on the bid sheet: not a minute earlier, not a minute later. The 3-member crew was calm yet upbeat, professional yet friendly, and a whole lotta fun to be around for the next 5¾ hours. It was clear that the crew not only enjoyed the job that they were doing, but they also clearly enjoyed working together at a team. The pre-move instructions during the walk-through by the crew to discuss what was to be moved, what items were to remain, and which items to flag for unusual disassembly and special handling were needed to only be repeated once. Care was shown for all my belongings, strategy was demonstrated during loading, and concern was felt to make sure a very stressful day went really, really well. As an added bonus, a smartphone app streamed a 70/80s AOR radio programming playlist from the crew chief's phone - a perfect pairing of classic rock to the vintage furniture and inventory being loaded on the truck. Quality of service continued on the day of the move at the point of destination. The truck was unloaded as efficiently as it was loaded. Instructions given as to where items were to be placed in the new house were repeated only once. Care was given for furniture arrangement and set-up, in additional to all boxes marked "OPEN FIRST" making their way either next to the counterpart piece of furniture or into the correct room. As an added bonus, though the instructions were for all boxes marked "BEDROOM" to be placed in the den, the crew placed 2 extra-large boxes marked "BEDDING" next to the bed in the master bedroom as a measure of practical discretion (which was a surprise much appreciated when the time came to make the bed to crash into after a long day). My only regret was not finding Cascade Moving before my prior two moves over the past two years crisscrossing Seattle. If I had, each of those moves would have gone much smoother, with significantly less minor damage to my furniture and belongings from a collection of nicks and dings, and proportionally less stress and anxiety for me to have to deal with the experience before, during, and after the move. It was the most expensive short distance move I've ever experienced, even 4 years later. I still don't understand how did they manage to spend so much time. Regardless of what was actually required to load and unload my stuff, even if everything was well packed and prepared and no stairs to fight, gents worked very slow and sat in the truck doing nothing. I had my belongings moved 4x the distance and it was 40% cheaper just a year prior to this move and a few times after this move years later. Perhaps booking a 1 bedroom move when you actually have 3 bedrooms would somewhat speed things up because they won't be allocating entire day to your move and doing their best to charge you for 8 hours in the end because there are no other moves to do in the same day. Finally, Google reviews have all disappeared who knows why and FYI, moving companies are consistently guilty of paying for positive reviews and removing negative ones, so do not trust those, especially 5* short reviews praising how everything was great in a few sentences with no substance. *** Funnily, business owner replies minutes after posting this: "3 yrs later ypu leave a review. Thats holding on to something way to long. Let it go you'll feel better. We wish you well". Perhaps you should be spending time improving your business, not posting disgusting replies to fair online reviews.
