I do not recommend using this storage facility. They' offer excellent introductory rates but will rapidly raise your rental rates by large percentages. The late charges are also exorbitant. The property manager was polite until the move out after raising rent over $150 since move in. Then she told us we couldn't hold the door open for the movers. Rent somewhere else if you don't want to have to move again within a year to an affordable unit. read more

Rented a unit in October 2024. One month later the elevator broke and was out of service for 4 months. Now in May 2025 it is broken again. They have no idea when it will be fixed. I can't get to any of my personal belongings. The manager won't return my emails. I wouldn't rent here unless you want to haul your belongings up and down the stairs. read more

Property is not in good condition and rent of storage unit goes up significantly without any notice. We signed up with a deal $230 and little over a year ago and now the rate is $450. Absolutely insane. There have been several sitings of rats as well as rat droppings in unit. Not to mention lots of homeless people waiting outside the gate. read more

First year things went pretty well, but then my rates started going up. They had me up a factor of x2 that second year, with new units leasing at a lower rate than mine. Before I left, they were leasing new small 5x5 units of $72 online but wouldn't give me a rate any less than $125. I asked them to help me understand why my unit, of the same size, was more valuable, but they could not. They said I could cancel my unit, get another one online, and then move into it, but I think a good customer should be treated better. I get the strategy though: some people would rather pay a higher rate than move their stuff, but that's not me. read more

The site is fine. The prices are the best I saw when searching around. I got the largest unit and it has plenty of room. The day I came to rent the unit was very, very strange though. I'd reserved it online, so everything was all set for me to sign and pay up. I walked in the door and immediately the guy at the counter stops what he's doing, glares at me so I wondered what he was going to do, and yells... literally YELLS at me "What do you want here?" Wow. I was a little taken aback. I'm not sure I've ever seen that behavior from anyone before. My impulse was to walk right back out the door and take my business elsewhere. But since it was late, and I'd already pre-registered, I decided to simply answer his question, and told him exactly what I wanted there. "Well, I'm helping someone else now!" He yelled again. I could see that, and informed him that I was in no hurry, and would be willing to wait. It was obvious that he was pretty tense. The lady he was helping made several jokes about it to try and lighten things up. By the time he helped me, he seemed to gain his composure. He gave me a tour of the place, and everything has gone fine since then. I see the many other reviews describing how friendly the manager is. I think his name is Tony. I won't draw any conclusions in this review why Tony acted that way on our first meeting... he's been fine ever since. Take it as you will. read more

We had to move our stuff out of this location due to weirdness on the part of the resident manager. She would call us frequently to accuse us of things like stealing the dollies or propping open the fire doors -- then call us again to apologize and let us know she found the dolly or figured out it was someone else who'd propped the doors open. She had to grill us every time we came to the facility about why we were there. There's a problem with parking, namely: There officially isn't any. All the decent parking spots are rental spots for RVs, boats, and the like. There's a thin strip of pavement in front of the downstairs units, which are large ones accessed by outside garage-type doors, that the manager allows you to park on. But (a) it's not that big and (b) if any of the renters of those units come through, you have to move your car to make way for theirs. It's pretty ridiculous, because of course you want to be able to park near the building if you're carrying up heavy boxes or furniture! We took to having me drop my husband off to sort items in our unit. One time, I pulled into the RV rental parking to let him out. My car was still running, and it didn't take him more than several seconds to exit the car. When I pulled up to the gate to leave, the manager leapt at my car and shouted at me that she saw me on the security cameras parking in The Forbidden Zone. I told her I had merely stopped to let my husband out. She reiterated, "I saw you! I SAW you parked there!" I repeated that I had merely pulled over to let my husband out. Her eyes bugged out as she finally stopped berating me long enough to take this in: "There's a MAN? In your unit?" I swear I felt like I was a 19th century boarding house resident being told I could have no gentleman callers after 8 p.m. I reminded her that my HUSBAND was on my lease agreement and had the right to enter our unit. (Gosh, this all sounds like bad double entendres.) The unit itself was fine by Public Storage standards -- not fancy, but all right. We had no problems with theft, rot, vermin, or the like, and the place was decently kept (well, obviously, since she's there ALL THE TIME). There were occasional difficulties with the gate code, but I suppose that could happen anywhere, and the gate hours are the same at every Public Storage we've used in Seattle (6a-9p). The prices at this one are lower than the location nearer us, but ultimately the hassle of dealing with the manager just got to be too much for us non-confrontational sorts. We will never go back to this location for storage. read more

Zero Stars...Go elsewhere. They decided to put in a new lock system to access the interior units but did a poor job of notifying tenants about getting an access code. They claim they put up flyers and that I was there 5 times during the times the flyers were up. I didn't see them any of the 5 times I was there so how good of a flyer could they have been? When I coordinated with some friends to borrow a truck and go there from where I live which is out of town to get some stuff, I was locked out. This was a huge waste of my and my friends time and energy. They sent nothing in the mail, no email, no phone calls to say hey we noticed you haven't gotten the code yet...nothing. When I asked about getting compensated for my NON access due to their lousy communication and business practice I was told they would do nothing. Their web site says they strive for 100% customer satisfaction. I'm not satisfied at all. I paid over $2K to keep my stuff there, never missed a payment and this is how they treat their customers. Don't reward these shysters with your business. Take it elsewhere. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND VERY SHADY MANAGEMENT I rarely write reviews, I think I've written one in the past. This situation has forced me to write. My girlfriend and I have been renting a storage at Public Storage off Delridge in West Seattle. Just recently we found that our storage had been broken into and all items of value were stolen. That in and of it's self is bad enough but what came after was worse. We spoke with the manager and she showed no concern what's so ever. She told us that she had been there for over 2 years and has not once had any kind of break in. With being said she showed no concern on how they, the burglar or buglers might have gotten in. She also told us that our unit was the only unit that had been broken into. Funny how she knows this information, for many people rarely check their units. She then insinuated to my girlfriend that I may have did it. She claimed that she has seen my car there on many occasions, which is very funny being that I had only been there twice during the first few days that we had the storage. So since talking to the manager who in our eyes is a possible suspect we have called the District manager numerous times without a return call. we then went a step further up the ladder without a return phone call. This company has not only been unsafe as far as storing belongings, the customer service has been horrendous. If this was my business I would have shown a bit of concern as to why or how this happened. The way this has been handled has been sickening. I wouldn't recommend this storage to anyone. Had some concern been showed by the corporate office I would have thought this Sandra was an anomaly, but the way corporate has responded or not responded tells me this may be company wide. read more

The worst experience ever!! Must read full review!! DO NOT RENT from these people. The unit was set up for a friend. We repeatedly ask them to change to her name. Which they confirmed they did!! When she moved her things out there was a small balance. We never ever got a bill. Instead they just send ME straight to collections. And when we tried to pay there was no record of any balance. Which was the same answer I got when I called and spoke to Ron. But somehow I'm on collections!! They have DONE NOTHING TO HELP ME WITH THIS!! Tony, one of the workers so was inappropriate .. telling me that people usually come in and think he is on drugs. Which, it seemed like it! And proceeded to say he thinks we got along smashingly and we should check out a movie. So unprofessional. Of this could be negative stars I would. TROUBLE FROM DAY ONE WITH THESE PEOPLE. I had out grown my double garage for my catering business and was shopping for a warehouse space, but it was way to expensive..My friend whom runs a plumbing company told me to go to public storage on delridge and talk to Tony...I did and he has solved all my woes..Now have three drive up storage units and three vehicle store spaces....for a 1/3 of the price I would have paid for a warehouse...The only down fall is I do not have 24 hr axcess but for the money I am saving I can live with it.....Thank you Tony.... read more

I've rented short term storage at a number of locations around the city. I know they can be varied and have to say - this location rocks. The staff are very nice and helpful. They had everything I needed from a supply standpoint to wrap up my packing. Plenty of dollies to get stuff from the car to the unit. And, as a woman, I felt incredibly safe there - even in the darkest of winter - because of the great lighting throughout. Looks like next time I need storage I'll stop shopping around for the great deal and go to the location I trust will keep me and my belonging safe. read more

After waiting 30 minutes for the new trainee to finish her lunch with the doors locked I came into to ask about the broken elevator. But when she didn't seem capable nor willing to help me I asked for a manager to speak to. She sent me to the door behind the main office, the manager Tony answered and claimed he was on vacation and wouldn't be willing to help either. After screaming in me and my fathers faces he slammed the door. Which led me back to the trainee. I had her call the district manager Alison, an hour later and Alison was finally able to help us, which she did a great job of. Leaving me with 2 storage units, one being free thanks to Alison and the other being my original locker. After they fixed the elevator I moved all my stuff into my original locker, then checked out with Tony, who told me to do nothing more than leave the unused storage units door open. A week later I am receiving emails about payment for the unused unit. I have tried contacting Alison twice, leaving voice mails both time. So i guess I have no choice but to wait for Alison to call me back. read more
