It seems like everytime we go to the storage the main elevator is out of service. They have another elevator by front entrance (see photos) but it's inconvenient if you're trying to store/remove bulky items (if you're lucky to get the items to fit through the elevator door) If it's not the AC that's broken it's the elevator. They're always raising their prices versus bringing them down. read more

My only complaint is that the main freight elevator is always broken. It makes it very difficult to plan to move large items into the unit. In the past, I've loaded up my truck with large items to store & was unable to bring my items up to my unit because of the broken freight elevator. I had to bring all my items back home & offload it & do it all again another day. Very inconvenient. The staffs great, my storage unit is great, the freight elevator's terrible. read more

The main elevator is broken again and stuck up on the second floor, and they raised my storage fee with this kind of terrible service.

Got a storage unit early in December 2024, so I've been a customer for 4 months. I just received an email with a rental rate increase -- my monthly rate is being increased from $138 to $198 in May. Taking into account the monthly $12 insurance fee, the rental rate is being increased by 45 percent. This is Standard Operating Procedure for mainland storage companies, from what I've seen -- but there's a statement on their Yelp listing that they are a local company -- found out, after I began my rental, that no, they are not local! Jayna was helpful and friendly when I began my rental, but no amount of good customer service makes up for ripping off customers. read more

Not only their prices are high, but the "Climate Controlled" level is a lie. Their a/c had been out since March of this year (as far asi know). I've complained to the office several times but NOTHING has been done and I'm still charged the extra price of having a climate controlled unit. Don't be fooled. read more

When we first opened the account with secure space it was great! Straight forward. And as the months went on idk if they changed companies but now my storage payment is constantly getting higher and higher. Constant letters advising us of storage fee raises etc etc. It's way too expensive especially with everything going on and prices keep raising I can't even afford it anymore. Customer service, I've only had to call the office 1 time. And that experience was horrible. Laurie? Laura? Lydia? No idea who you are but shame on you for the attitude today. read more

Last year they raised the prices again. Stating that it's for development and better experience for us customers. But what lie these guys are pulling off. Controlled Air? Thing been broken, no air in there. Suffocating. The elevator brakes all the time. Raising the prices 4-6 months to meet the set by Corperate Level. Thats what your customer service boy told me. From the time I reserved my unit online to securing it in person & moving in, my experience was awesome. The manager Laurie is so sweet & was amazing in assisting me, answering my questions and doing what she could to ensure this unit was right for me. Her customer service was definitely beyond average and very personable. Process was fast and she made me feel like I absolutely picked the right place to entrust my belongings being stored. My husband and I were stuck in the elevator on July 2nd, 2023 at approximately 6:45 pm with two other customers. We used the emergency phone, but the reception was bad and the person on the other line (female) kept cutting out. It was hard to understand her. She did not express any empathy for our situation and did not give an ETA on the person who was to help us. I called a second time @ approximately 7:15 pm and the phone was answered by a male. He notified us that someone was supposed to be on their way and we needed to wait another 20 minutes. We waited for 40 minutes and called again. Another male answered the phone and we had the most difficult time understanding him. We heard someone downstairs trying to access the elevator and thought it was our rescue, but it was a customer trying to call the elevator down so that they could use it. I had to shout down to them to tell them we were stuck in the elevator. After almost an hour, I called 911 and had the fire department come to get us out. I don't want anyone to go through this same ordeal. The emergency phone did not work and there was no local number identified to call in case of emergencies. I was told when I began my contract, that the elevator was old and would be replaced. I have heard that the elevator breaks down occasionally. They have failed to replace the elevator so I will no longer be a customer of this company. read more

Like all storage facilities, constantly raising their fees. Makes things much more difficult to focus on the need to pay the essential items of importance (i.e. rent, utilities, and bills). No empathy for customers. read more

There staff is certainly not perfessional . Telling other tenets others peoples personal business (Lorie) just so happened to be a former boss. Which he had made us aware of the situation. I thought it was supposed to be confidential. But anyway. Chris I was told was excellent. Very helpful. . Staff wanted my coworker to get out and leave there stuff there which was in the motion. Of getting loaded into th we vehicle. LORIE MENTIONED She had things to do and places to go.. My suggestion if ur goi g with this company go to thw mililani location. Not so disrespectful restrooms had no toilet paper and trash was overfill onto the floor . No trash can available anywhere on site . Waipahu needs to show less discrimination than maybe I woul d have gave them one more star read more
