    Tofu on garlic green beans
    Tammy E.

I probably wouldn't have thought to order from this Thai restaurant if not for UE. The reviews here are not stellar but I found the food to be excellent. There was a promo for free spring rolls (very tasty!) so naturally I ordered enough food to last a week. Anyone who offers fresh guava juice has my attention so that was a major win for a blustery cold winter evening. For mains I ordered the Penang curry - warning this is spicy even if you order the light spicy option, the basil tofu - smells so good from all that thai basil, shrimp goong Siam from their specialty list, and garlic green beans. My favorite dish was the shrimp goong Siam - savory and generous in size, I kept coming back to this one. It was a unique dish as far as thai dishes go and it was great even reheated days later. They don't skimp on carrots and onions in this dish. The garlic green bean dish was a little disappointing as they cut them in 1'' sections so they looked like they may have come from a can. They tasted good the first day but by day 2 may as well have been canned green beans. I was hoping for standard garlic green beans so I felt that this was the only dish that didn't live up to the rest of the dishes' standards. The order was ready in a short time and the packing of the items wasn't great - they could use a piece of cardboard in the bottom and tying off the tops of the bags will help prevent spillage and toppling over during transit and delivery.

delicious late night thai food. they open until 2am, very little seating & only one or two workers but food taste delicious. i got pad thai! great for to-go :)

The Pad Thai that I did not order

Well, I wasn't exactly looking around the room when I walked in to get my take-out, but if I had seen some of these reviews, I'm not sure that I would have gone here over another Thai place (it's a 4.5 on Grubhub out of almost 600 ratings, so highly rated). Frankly, I think people would be pretty disgusted if they saw the kitchen in a lot of other restaurants. Unless there's an actual health outbreak (remember, clean appearances didn't save Chipotle...), I don't know why it should be an issue if you're only getting takeout. Realistically, this is cheap Thai food for where it is...I don't know why you would eat-in expecting ambiance anyway... Now I gave this place 3 stars because they got my order wrong. I ordered chicken Pad See Iew and chicken Thai Fried Rice. They definitely got the order written down correctly unless "FIR" = Pad Thai not Fried Rice, but I definitely got Pad Thai not Fried Rice. Now the real problem with this is I got two very different dishes because it's all for me; I like to eat family style, so I often get two or three dishes and then have leftovers of all of them for the next few days. So getting two noodle dishes was less than ideal; a different mess-up (like a curry instead of one dish) would have been whatever honestly. I just ate the entire Pad See Iew and put the Pad Thai in the fridge. The Pad See Iew is a little on the wetter side, so if you like it because it has that little bit of char on the noodles, you may be disappointed; usually this is a sign that the wok wasn't hot enough and the sauce didn't caramelize onto the noodles or that there was just too much sauce. It wasn't swimming, but the noodles at the bottom were definitely just straight up wet. That being said, it was solid Pad See Iew; chicken not too dry and broccoli not too overcooked (maybe a little light on the broccoli though). I would get it again, I would just check my order before driving home.

"yeah I am pretty high so I'll eat it anyways" We asked Sea Thai to send noods and post mates seriously delivered. Here's a random tangent-- the best season of parks is season 3 and I'm in an ocean blue sandwich. All in all, I regret nothing but I just rubbed glitter into my eyeball. The order: pad see iew and pad Thai OKAY was good but what is up with the pad Thai noods? I was very surprised by what looked like spaghetti noodles and that's very strange. ****BONUS REVIEW**** "Jack in the box is pretty good but I'm so full." Says my friend eating jack in the box. Our cat would probably rate them all 10/10 because she was sniffing everything from sandwiches to Thai food to American fast food.

Peppers in pad kee mao 2 star

Ordered take out pad see eiw and pad kee mao from here last night. As other reviewers have said it looks like someone's living room when you come in, filthy. Flavor was ok but noodles were too dry and completely clumped together. I ordered 2 stars on the Kee Mao and there were giant chunks of extremely hot pepper thrown in, I would have had a REALLY bad day today if I ate it. Sketch all around.

Amazing ambiance and service love everything we had great place can't wait to come again

Saddest sauce container for EIGHT crab ragoons.

Got one entree and one appetizer to be delivered. It was supposed to take 30-45 minutes, it took an hour. Food wasn't warm, I didn't get any utensils, I'd requested extra napkins (I got one). Phad Thai doesn't come with any rice and there's nothing in it except noodles, chicken and a few sad bean sprouts. Additionally I got the crab ragoons. It comes with 8. The tiny sauce container was less than half full. Like, seriously? After two dips it was empty. Not impressed. Won't be going back.

Sea thai is a small whole in the wall with the nicest chefs I've ever had the opportunity of meeting. In response to deliveries this is a very small family owned shop generally consisting of only one driver. They deliver to countless areas including Aurora ,Ballard, Westlake , Fremont ,eastlake, Lake city, Queen Anne (anything in a 5 mile range ) and because of this sometime they are unable to make everyone in a timely matter. 4- 5 miles doesn't seem far but going through rush hour traffic on local streets can take up to 50 min to make one delivery round trip. This is why deliveries are made in according to time they were received, and then grouped if they are going into the same direction. Deli fee are to cover the distance they have to travel but you were going to tip anyways though right? :) No entrees come with rice! Everything you order can have a choice of meat (chicken ,pork, beef, tofu, veggies). They are accommodating to dietary needs just ask.The menu's website is outdated but they have current printed ones at the restaurant. They close at 10pm so be conscious when you place an order or at least call first. I'm talking to you grub hub people. If they say their busy they mean their busy. Especially during heavy rainy days. So instead opt to take it to go or ask them can you call me when it's 5-10 min till ready and I'll come pick up. Things you must TRY! Spice hotness rating is 0-5 they will go hotter if you like Stir fry noodles other then pad Thai or see ew Kee Mao noodles ( drunken noodles): mixed veggies with wide noodles and meat Dry noodles: It's a lighter tasting stir fry dish with peanuts ,spinach, choice of meat Lard Na : noodles cooked in a gravy like sauce with veggies and meat Curries: Red curry with Thai pumpkin(a must get) with pork! Yellow curry (more Indian then Thai but I do enjoy the flavors). Fried rices: Ka phao lard khao (it's on the back near chef specials) This is something I eat 2-3 times a week . Make it spicy, add any type of ground meat cooked with Thai basil, served with a perfectly fried egg, and ladled on a bed of steam rice. Its literally TO DIE FOR good. Chili Fried rice: I'm a egg slut so anything that comes with a fried egg I definitely would recommend. Entrees: Pla rard prik: deep fried snapped in a tangy sauce with sweet bell peppers Prik khing:; they deep fry the green beans for a second to give the veggies a nice bite and stir fry it in a curry like base with choice of meat. YUM SALAD: tangy fresh sliced cucumber onions and meat. It's more protein than veggie but its filling and healthy. Thai ice tea! Also Taste pretty good with coconut milk instead of half and half(just ask) Anyways stay hungry fellow yelpers

They have locations both in Downtown Seattle and Greenlake, but I have only been to their Downtown Seattle location which has a beautiful view of the Puget Sound. The atmosphere is dark, trendy, and modern- perfect for a date night or nice evening out. While they are a white table cloth, sit-down restaurant, you can dress casually or dress up a bit - both are completely acceptable. This most recent visit I ordered the COCONUT PANANG CURRY with chicken ($25.95) and my friend ordered her favorite dish, SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE ($28.95). On a past visit, I've had their CLAY POT SHRIMP & GLASS NOODLES (KOONG OB WOONSEN) ($27.95) which was absolutely fantastic and has had me hooked on Pad Woonsen ever since! I saw the COCONUT PANANG CURRY recently in my Instagram feed and knew I had to get it. It is served in a whole coconut (yes a real, fresh coconut!) and comes with a champagne flute of fresh coconut juice from the coconut they hollowed out and a side of Jasmine rice. The curry was rich, flavorful, and full of Thai basil and peppers. The coconut juice was light and refreshing and a great contrast to the thick curry. The SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE (which I've sampled before), is gigantic, aromatic, and served with a giant grilled garlic butter fillet of salmon on top. The salmon is extremely moist, oily, and bursting with flavor. The rice is fragrant and has garlic paste, red bell pepper, carrots, and green onion. If you're looking for a tasty and protein-packed meal, this is the dish! Parking is honestly tough in this area as it's located on 1st. They have limited street parking and a few paid parking garage options around. I recommend light railing or Ubering here if you're not already in the downtown Seattle area. Service is always great and we always get our food quickly, no matter how crowded they are. The staff also take the time to check up on your table during your meal. Overall: 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere

Even though I really wanted to love this place, this place was definitely overhyped; I'd say it's about the same level as A Ma's, which I also didn't enjoy. It might be because the place has gone super viral as we ended up waiting 80 minutes on a Saturday night, so quality control might be more difficult at this point. Tip: the iPad will say the wait is 30 minutes, do not trust the iPad. Hainan Chicken was tasteless and overcooked. The texture was way too chewy and was my least favorite preparation of the night. Gai Tod (fried) was better with a crispy outside, but still a tad overcooked. Gai Yang (grilled) was definitely the best version of chicken and is solid enough if you live nearby, but definitely not driving out of your way or waiting for. Rice wasn't super fluffy and I just prefer garlic rice over ginger. The chicken stock is probably the best part of the rice plates. Upside is the joint is definitely family owned and they do their best to provide good service in spite of the chaos. They'll take your order before you get seated, so the food comes out fast and are generally very sweet when checking in.

Vibe - When I walked in, it felt like I was in a nighttime district on the streets of Thailand, eating and drinking whatever they had available. Hospitality - The front-of-house staff was well-mannered and courteous, and they seated us quickly on a Monday night at 8:00 PM. It was a relatively busy night. However, we ordered fairly quickly, and the food came out within 10 to 15 minutes. Typically, four dishes can serve three people, but I felt like these could have served five. The fried papaya salad was lightly battered with a typical papaya salad dipping sauce featuring a base of fish sauce, green beans, tomatoes, and chilies. It was good. The crispy fried rice was served with lettuce wraps, and OMG, I kid you not when I tell you this is some of the crispiest rice I've ever had. It's hard to find, but when you do, you can't wait to take another bite. I thought the khao soi overall was not bad. I enjoyed that they put the fried noodles on top so that you can mix them into the curry when it's brought out.
