Thai iced coffee

Good coffee.... But I paid over $6 for essentially a big cup of ice. This was the amount of iced coffee left after 3 sips

Takeout! Fresh Rolls, Spring Rolls, Basil Lamb, Pad Pedi, Roti

Got grubhub delivery from here and was fully satisfied!! Ordered (keep in mind these are grubhub prices so probably inflated): Apps: -Spring Rolls ($7.95): Comes with 5 in a order, standard egg rolls with a sweet sticky fish sauce, not bad! -Fresh Rolls ($8.95): Mostly lettuce so these would be great for the carb conscious. Also the peanut sauce was super thick and creamy. Entrees/Sides: -Pad Pedi with Chicken ($14.95), add brown rice for ($3.50) -Basil Lamb ($19.95): Lean chunks of lamb meat in a flavorful sauce - the spice level was on point too! -Side of Roti ($2.50) : small circle of roti bread cut in 4 You can choose the spice level you'd like from 1 through 4. I love that they give out fluffy, toothsome purple rice as a side option. Everything was packaged carefully!

Pad Woonsen

I've lived nearby for 7+ years now and Thai Thani has come a long way. When I arrived in Ballard I always considered it pretty mediocre, and not one of the area's better Thai offerings. The reviews still reflect as much. I had written it off as not worth eating at, and hadn't for several years when I recently ordered on DoorDash. I was pleasantly surprised that somewhere along the way this place took a big step up in quality - everything was shockingly good. I got Pad Woon Sen, one of my favorite Thai dishes that I was thrilled to see on the menu. It was packed full of fresh veggies, the noodles were perfect, the sauce had depth but was still very light, and the chicken was moist and tender. Everything about the dish was spot on. We also ordered Cashew Chicken and the Crab Rangoons. Cashew chicken: also nailed it. Great meat, fresh veggies, excellent sauce, nice spice. And while rangoons aren't my most often-ordered app, we were so goddamn happy we picked these. They were everything you want in a rangoon - crispy crunchy flaky edges and a warm gooey cream cheesy center...sexy lil things, mm mm mm. Prices are Seattle prices, but the portions are generous and value is better than just about anywhere else in town. So if you're new to the area and you're looking for a Thai joint, don't let the lower reviews discourage you from giving them a try. And if you're a Ballard haunt who wrote off Thai Thani years ago like I did - I'd highly recommend you give them another shot. I'm very glad I did.

Spring Rolls

We are visiting in Miami. We try Thai restaurants everywhere we travel. We loved this place. We had the veggie spring rolls, which were cooked perfectly and crunchy. My wife had the veggie fried rice which was DELICIOUS. I ordered the golden cashew chicken with a side order of white rice. Spice level at 0 but it had a little hint of spice. (I think pepper is spicy) it was delicious. Our waitress was super attentive. Always had water. And when she was we needed more sauce for the veggie spring roll she asked if we wanted more. So... Don't walk to this place.run!

Pretty good Thai food restaurant in Ballard. Bought some take out after spending a day walking around the neighborhood. Orders were tasty, salads refreshing, and Spring rolls were hot and crispy. Woman who worked at the counter taking orders could be a little friendlier. Aside from this, the food really satisfied my Thai cravings.

We picked up dinner to go from here last night and enjoyed our meal a lot. We got a chicken fried rice, chicken pad thai, and crispy garlic chicken. The chicken fried rice and chicken pad thai were good, we loved the crispy garlic chicken.

Veggie delight (vegan)

Excellent Thai food that has plenty of vegan or veganizable options. We stopped in for a late-ish (8pm) dinner on a Saturday night and they had a few empty tables for us. They were quite busy with take-out orders, but still were fairly quick to serve us and bring our food. We ordered their pad see ew with tofu (omitting the egg to make it vegan; $14.95 plus tax), a pumpkin red curry with tofu ($15.95 plus tax), and a veggie delight ($12.95 plus tax). Everything came out in 10-15 minutes. Both the pad see ew and veggie delight were on the gentler side, but well-seasoned and balanced dished. The pumpkin red curry was excellent (spice level: 3 out of 4; totally manageable). All in all, the food was excellent and well-portioned. Good service and a pleasant environment for dining in. Another great Thai spot in Seattle.

This restaurant has a really nice job with atmosphere, customer service, and generally good flavor. I would not say it's my absolute favorite Thai restaurant that I have ever been to, but I did really enjoy it. And I think that for their price point, the portions are pretty good. The eggplant dish on the vegetarian options was delightful. The star rating between 1 to five spiciness is pretty good. I would say that it's a little on the hotter side for me. When I went there, I got the eggplant dish, and the red curry, I recommend you trying this place out at least once. I think they could expand on better parking options.

Noi Thai Cuisine is where my Thai best friend and I go whenever she is in town! It is one of the…read morebest Thai restaurants in Seattle and is certified as Thai Select which certifies its Thai authenticity. They have locations both in Downtown Seattle and Greenlake, but I have only been to their Downtown Seattle location which has a beautiful view of the Puget Sound. The atmosphere is dark, trendy, and modern- perfect for a date night or nice evening out. While they are a white table cloth, sit-down restaurant, you can dress casually or dress up a bit - both are completely acceptable. This most recent visit I ordered the COCONUT PANANG CURRY with chicken ($25.95) and my friend ordered her favorite dish, SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE ($28.95). On a past visit, I've had their CLAY POT SHRIMP & GLASS NOODLES (KOONG OB WOONSEN) ($27.95) which was absolutely fantastic and has had me hooked on Pad Woonsen ever since! I saw the COCONUT PANANG CURRY recently in my Instagram feed and knew I had to get it. It is served in a whole coconut (yes a real, fresh coconut!) and comes with a champagne flute of fresh coconut juice from the coconut they hollowed out and a side of Jasmine rice. The curry was rich, flavorful, and full of Thai basil and peppers. The coconut juice was light and refreshing and a great contrast to the thick curry. The SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE (which I've sampled before), is gigantic, aromatic, and served with a giant grilled garlic butter fillet of salmon on top. The salmon is extremely moist, oily, and bursting with flavor. The rice is fragrant and has garlic paste, red bell pepper, carrots, and green onion. If you're looking for a tasty and protein-packed meal, this is the dish! Parking is honestly tough in this area as it's located on 1st. They have limited street parking and a few paid parking garage options around. I recommend light railing or Ubering here if you're not already in the downtown Seattle area. Service is always great and we always get our food quickly, no matter how crowded they are. The staff also take the time to check up on your table during your meal. Overall: 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere

Even though I really wanted to love this place, this place was definitely overhyped; I'd say it's about the same level as A Ma's, which I also didn't enjoy. It might be because the place has gone super viral as we ended up waiting 80 minutes on a Saturday night, so quality control might be more difficult at this point. Tip: the iPad will say the wait is 30 minutes, do not trust the iPad. Hainan Chicken was tasteless and overcooked. The texture was way too chewy and was my least favorite preparation of the night. Gai Tod (fried) was better with a crispy outside, but still a tad overcooked. Gai Yang (grilled) was definitely the best version of chicken and is solid enough if you live nearby, but definitely not driving out of your way or waiting for. Rice wasn't super fluffy and I just prefer garlic rice over ginger. The chicken stock is probably the best part of the rice plates. Upside is the joint is definitely family owned and they do their best to provide good service in spite of the chaos. They'll take your order before you get seated, so the food comes out fast and are generally very sweet when checking in.

My boyfriend thought the sauce that came with the calamari was too spicy for his liking but for me it was super sweet and paired perfectly with the calamari. We enjoyed the appetizer thoroughly and I would say it was my favorite part of the meal. My man ordered his favorite Thai dish Panang chicken Curry spice level 1. He said his meal was delicious but big portion so we both took to go our leftovers. I tried the curry and it was super tasty. I ordered my go to prawns Pad Thai and chose spice level 3. The Pad Thai was delicious and large portion but level 3 was not spicy at all so if you love spicy like me choose above level 3. Not the best Pad Thai I've ever had being honest but still yummy especially for late night. Definitely a great late night choice with large portions!

Vibe - When I walked in, it felt like I was in a nighttime district on the streets of Thailand, eating and drinking whatever they had available. The vibe was that of a dark ambiance, with neon lights shining throughout the restaurant. Hospitality - The front-of-house staff was well-mannered and courteous, and they seated us quickly on a Monday night at 8:00 PM. It was a relatively busy night. However, we ordered fairly quickly, and the food came out within 10 to 15 minutes. Food - Food-wise, we ordered the Fried Papaya, Crispy Fried Rice, Khao Soi, Tom Yum, and Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice. Gosh, I have to say, I was blown away by the flavors and the portion sizes! Typically, four dishes can serve three people, but I felt like these could have served five. The fried papaya salad was lightly battered with a typical papaya salad dipping sauce featuring a base of fish sauce, green beans, tomatoes, and chilies. It was good. The crispy fried rice was served with lettuce wraps, and OMG, I kid you not when I tell you this is some of the crispiest rice I've ever had. It's hard to find, but when you do, you can't wait to take another bite. I thought the khao soi overall was not bad. I enjoyed that they put the fried noodles on top so that you can mix them into the curry when it's brought out. Lastly, the pork belly was well-cooked with a crispy, crunchy exterior, and served with delicious Thai-flavored fried rice! Drinks - We ordered the Thai lemon iced tea and the Thai tea cremosa. Both tasted good. Overall, I was very satisfied with this place, and if I lived here, I could see myself grabbing some late-night bites with the homies.
