Hmm what to say about Se7en Bites. I was so excited to go here as it was hyped up by many people and also featured on a Food Network show. We went on a Thursday afternoon so it was not busy at all and we parked and walked right it. There were 3 members in our party and one of us had coffee while the rest asked for cups of water (which they keep the water and soda guarded by employees so you have to get up and ask them for more). The coffee was cold so I went up and asked for a fresh pour and they said that the creamer and cold syrup was cooling it, which was not the case they just weren't keeping the coffee fresh. So we sat down at a table and put our provided number stand on the table. The scenery is very farmhouse and open. After being seated for quite a while (30+ minutes) we noticed our food still had not come out even though people had walked in and got their food after 10-15 minutes. We ended up waiting about an hour for our food which there was no excuse for as they chose to serve others faster who had more involved dishes while ours was basic (pulled pork sandwich, biscuits and gravy and the one pictured). Maybe they were mad cause I said the coffee was cold or they preferred serving others rather than the patient waiters. Now when the food arrived it was decent, but nothing special for the wait we underwent and the price. I can go to Waffle House and get bacon with biscuits and gravy just as good for half the cost. Maybe it was a bad day for them, even when they had like 20 employees standing around not doing anything in and out of the kitchen, but I don't think we will be back. read more

I came here with family after landing at the airport. I was told that people come here for the biscuits...so a biscuit is what I got! It consisted of a buttermilk garlic biscuit, over medium egg, crispy green tomato, applewood smoked bacon, topped with peppercorn hollandaise. It was very good! It could have used a slash of some hot sauce- I didn't ask for it but I definitely will next time as I would absolutely return and try something else. It also came with a side of grits that was also yummy. Service was great. You wait outside first, and then you go in. We didn't wait long at all...about 5 minutes. If you head to 7bites on a weekend get there early. It gets very busy. We had to wait in line for a bit outside before we were let inside to wait in a line to order. I think the woman that took my order was new because she was unable to answer my questions. The seating is picnic tables. Some of them are placed to get her for community dining. Be warned it is very loud. I got the savory bread pudding and my husband got the biscuits and gravy. They were both just okay. Where this place shine is its deserts. We got a few to go. The coconut cream pie was the best I have ever had. If I were eating it just on that it would have been 5 stars but with the hot food it goes down to 3 stars. Se7en Bites is a gem of a find! Arriving around 9:30 am, there was a small line outside, but were allowed inside within 15 minutes. Once inside, you order at the counter and choose a seat. There is also a separate area to order their coffee or pastries. Ordering was a breeze, and our food didn't take long at all. I had the chicken biscuit with gravy and grits special--unreal! My friend ordered the 7th trimester, which was equally delightful and incredibly filling. We also shared the hashbrown potato cakes, delicious and very thick potato cakes! The food here definitely lives up to the hype, and I'm already planning my next visit. I recommend arriving early, as the line was quite lengthy when we left. I can't say I would return and that's unfortunate. As soon as you walk in, you're right at the ordering stand. There are menus on the wall to review, but they're not detailed like the menus at the register, so you'll need to go to the register to see a menu. If you need time, you'll have to step aside, then get back in line, if you don't want to hold up the line. It's not an intuitive process at all. My order: 3 Little Pigs & Fried Green Tomatoes I didn't realize everything on the 3 Little Pigs would be in a pile on top of the biscuit. I thought the grits would be on the side. I received my order and it was cold. I absolutely hate sending back food, but cold grits is an absolute no. So I send it back and they give me a fresh one that's hot, without issue. The flavors were pretty overwhelming and had a lot going on, which says a lot coming from me. The friend green tomatoes needed salt AND they didn't come with any sauce. I was one of those people who had their airline flight cancelled due to the massive outage. Thankfully, Se7en Bites saved the day and significantly brightened my mood!! My friend took me here years ago and ever since then, I always try to come whenever I'm in town. I ordered the signature chicken biscuit and the combo of biscuit, crispy chicken, and sweet jam was perfect! Definitely a fork and knife type meal with the jam oozing out in each bite. I think I should start with the positives here and say that the service was pretty darn great! I was not expecting to see a host outside the restaurant to see me inside but he was very friendly, as well as the cashier taking my order at the front desk. Nothing against the employees but I've always had a slight issue with having to pay for my food (along with the tip) before I actually dine. I'd like to be able to tip better if I had great service. Service: 5/5 The ambiance inside was pretty cool. It was all very much LGBTQ+ welcoming as well. My only issue is that they don't have anything at all in the outside dining area. Went on Sunday with friends who live in the area. We waited on a line outside for around 20 min (we were told this is typical for the weekends). Once inside, we were told to order at the counter and find a table. Our friends each got a 7th Trimester biscuit sandwich, my partner got the Farmers Breakfast Sandwich, and I got the Chicken Pot Pie. We got a side biscuit and cinnamon roll to share with the table. Myself and my partner paid separately from our friends, but we were all given a table number to share. The ambiance was homie and it was pretty easy to find a table. Upon seating, we were quickly greeted with waters and the cinnamon roll, which was delicious. About 10 min later, the 2 7th Trimesters came out (also delicious). Our friends tried to wait for us to begin eating, but it was at least another 10-15 min before our food arrived which we thought was weird considering we had all ordered at the same time. I was so excited for the chicken pot pie as it is their top rated item and they sell our every day. It was maybe 5 inches across, teeny tiny for a chicken pot pie. While it was tasty, I was sure glad we had ordered the sides for the table because I almost left hungry. It was $48 for the pot pie, breakfast sandwich, biscuit, and standard tip, which was pricy for what we received. As we were eating, servers came by multiple times to refill waters, which was nice, but as we were finishing, also came by multiple times to try to take our un-finished meals from us. I understand this is a busy place that draws a crowd, but I definitely don't want to feel rushed through my meal. There is a line outside to be seated but they work really fast and also very nice of them to have water for those waiting in line. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Just go here! If you like a good southern breakfast, or just breakfast food in general, you need to go here. Well actually just any food. I have been here twice now and just writing this review is making my mouth water! This is an order at the counter, grab a seat and they bring your order out kind of place. It does get busy, but they are super organized and make it a stress free experience. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and the restaurant has a lovely cozy and eclectic vibe. The Signature Chicken Biscuit is my favorite! That red pepper jelly cream cheese is perfect with the fried chicken. And add a cup of Orange Blossom Iced Tea, and you have a perfect morning. However, their whole menu sounds so tasty and maybe one day I will go back and venture out from the chicken biscuit, but it is so good that is it hard to get anything else. I found Se7en Bites listed as one of the top places for lunch in the area when leaving Elevation Church Orlando. It's in a really busy area with lots of places nearby to eat and shop. Se7en Bites has its own parking lot with plenty of parking. They stay open until 3pm, and are only open Thursday to Sunday, so it was busy. You wait outside in line until seating becomes available inside or on their outside patio. It was rather warm out and the sun was beaming, so I decided to sit on the inside. The staff outside gave us menus while we waited to go inside. I asked for his top 3 menu items and decided on one of the specials. Right after I made my decision, another staff member from inside came out and announced the menu item I decided on was out! I finally get inside, the wait wasn't too long though, and I was exited to get to Dorian to take my order. He was awesome. I finally decided on the Minnie Pearl, which was two pearl sugar waffles hugging their "almost famous" buttermilk fried chicken with a splash of HOT (not so spicy, kickin, buffalo- for all you temp-spice-level wonderers) honey & over medium egg (I asked for my egg souffléd), topped with vanilla bean butter syrup & served with a side of cheddar chive grits. I also ordered a bacon cinnamon roll and a yummy cup of their special coffee (they also sell it to brew at home). You order at the register and then seat yourself. My bacon cinnamon roll had me dancing at first bite, so yummy and fresh. My food came out and wow, I was excited. The flavor profile of the sweet waffles, with the spicy-ish chicken, with the syrup and egg...Wowsers. I loved every single bite. I mean, so good. The grits were just ok for me. I love grits, but not a big fan of the flavor of these. I decided to check the bakery part, which has a separate counter than where you order your food. Why did I do that. I literally wanted one of everything, but decided to narrow it down to the special pie of the day, Grammie's Coconut Cream Pie and a Signature Bar Cookie. The baked goods were amazing too. The Crack Pie tasted like someone spilled beef stew on it. My question is why? Why make me think about beef stew when I could have been in dessert heaven? The Moon Pie had an old bacon fat taste that I couldn't get out of my mouth. (not great) The pecan pie was ok. Buttermilk bakery still wins for best Pecan Pie. The shortbread tasted like herbs. Specifically rosemary. Why? Why? My husband's shortbread is way better. The oatmeal cream pie reminded me of how good Little Cream pies are lol. We had a very concerning experience at Seen Bites. During our visit, my friend bit into a piece of plastic that was inside the food, which hurt her mouth. We immediately informed the staff, but the response was very rude and there was no apology at all. When we asked to speak with the manager, we were told that the manager did not want to talk to us, and we were asked to leave the restaurant immediately. They only refunded the dish that contained the plastic, even though all of the food was prepared in the same kitchen and we shared our concern. After the incident we stopped eating immediately and had barely touched the rest of the dishes, but they did not accept to refund the rest of the meal. This was honestly the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. read more

The atmosphere was fun, a bit noisy but it was fine. Keep in mind they close at 3 pm so this is a great spot to kick you day off. The Drunk Hot Chicks might have been a temporary menu item but it was lovely and be around all year if it isnt. The waffle was perfectly soft, as was the chicken fried to perfection while maintaining its juiciness. Se7en bites is a great place to check out if visiting orlando. It's one of my favorite brunch spots around! There's usually a line outside but it moves quickly. Most of the time an employee is also outside letting people in and providing menus or recommendations. Upon entering you order at the front and there's some daily specials. I have tried the Minnie Pearl and the Seventh Trimester. Both are great but very different. The Minnie pearl will satisfy a sweet tooth while the seventh trimester is more savory. Personally, I'm not a big grits fan but I will eat the grits here. The Mac and cheese is my absolute favorite though! They offer indoor and patio dining. The menu plus the blackboard specials were a bit overwhelming to me. I chose a simple meat loaf sammie with a schmear of mashed potatoes. Delicious and my buddy loved his pot pie. Craving accomplished! Thirst quenching sweet orange blossom iced tea delivered with a smile. I like the community feeling here and the aesthetics are fun. I also asked about other seats open in the back and their answer was that the section was closed. If you were a real business owner, you'd show some empathy and not just cover for your lowsy team & lie in a public forum. Almost steered away from this place because it was nearly impossible to park, but thank goodness I didn't. The long line in the front is to help monitor the flow as once you're inside you order at the counter and then seat yourself at any open table. I really enjoyed the concept and honestly the 20 min line to get in didn't feel that long (also s/o for the water station outside in this FL heat). So I ordered the super southern, minus the grits, and it was out of this world; whoever thought of a cornbread waffle I love you. The only part of my meal I didn't enjoy was the over med eggs, I'm not a fan of runny yolk, but alas it didn't stop me from eating this. I obviously couldn't leave this place without getting a pastry so I got the rainbow cookie, which was actually a cute take on a snickerdoodle cookie. They had some options that are there weekly and others which they rotate. Wouldn't hesitate to come back again. read more
