We ordered the corned beef hash, pancakes, and country fried steak, and everything was hot, flavorful, and satisfying. The coffee was strong and fresh, which was exactly what we needed to start the day. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and quick to take care of anything we needed. This family owned restaurant has been around for 40 years, so there is a lot of history represented here. When we walked in, we were the only people in the place, so service was quick. We spent a fair amount of time talking to the owner, who was very friendly and willing to share his family's story with us. I loved that the cook (also family I'm sure, but I didn't ask) was at the grill, which was in full view of our table. It was like watching my mother cook when I was a kid, and it tasted the same way. It was a busy day when we went in but we were still taken care of efficiently and not forgotten which has happened in other food establishments. I highly recommend their seasonal offerings (pumpkin in this case). The donut holes were so great and my friend writes in to First Watch every year asking if they can please extend their pumpkin pancake offering through November ;) It was great catching up with my bestie here, in her neck of the woods. I wonder what other locations I'll make it to in the future :D
