Love First Watch..Forget those overpriced pretentious places or those old dingy diners. First watch puts out quality well presented food without the inflated prices and all in a clean modern environment..The Farmers Hash is a favorite.

Not wanting to risk a bad breakfast experience this morning, I went with FIRST WATCH. I've been to many FIRST WATCH locations in the United States and have always been satisfied. A bad breakfast experience is no way to start a Monday morning. This is the first time I visited this location in Upper Arlington. It is located in a shopping mall area so it has convenient and plentiful parking. Greeted by the hostess and promptly seated, I was staring at a "Watermelon Wake-Up" ($5.79) within five minutes of being seated. Pricey but the watermelon flavor came through including enough sweetness. I could have had the Kale Tonic but that is not this guy. They serve mostly American Breakfast Classics on their large menu. I ordered the Ham & Gruyere ($13.99). This strikes me more like a French Classic. Well, they did say mostly. It was tasty, well seasoned with toast and a small cup of fruit on the side. Coffee was $3.99 with refills. Service was efficient with check-backs and lots of conversation. I thought that I could talk.

Inside has lots of seating. If you are looking for a quiet breakfast go on Sunday. It's less busy. Went in got my basic ala carte breakfast due to food allergies. Got two orders of bacon, two eggs over easy, and breakfast potatoes. Everything was cooked right, and tasted great. All that I have come to expect of First Watch. Enjoyed a coffee as well. Service was excellent. There is parking here, not like the downtown one. Much better here. I will keep coming back.

Coffee refills are easy and plentiful. Selection of vegetarian options. Ask Brady about vegan options. He is knowledgeable and personable.

Top Notch Service with plenty of great options making it difficult to make a choice. We were all very pleased, like the pancakes were incredible. The ambiance was relax while busy.

Thank you to First Watch for the delicious iced coffee, which has me caffeinated and ready to write my first review of 2024! I could spend the whole review just writing a love letter to the iced coffee. It has it all going on. Always plenty of ice, perfectly sweetened, slight hint of vanilla flavor. I typically order for takeout at First Watch and I always pick something off the seasonal "specials" list. Generally, the food has always tasted delicious. My only caveat is that they are very light handed on the meat and the toppings. You will be playing Where's Waldo looking for the brisket or the barbacoa. They are also very stingy with sour cream for some reason. Anyways. The food tastes so good, that I don't get hung up on that. Staff at this location is always great and orders have always been ready for pickup on time.

Citrus Hibiscus Punch Hibiscus tea, cranberry, orange, pineapple, lemon, and ginger with a cinnamon-spiced sugar rim GINGERBREAD SPICE DONUTS Warm cake donut holes tossed with gingerbread spice and lightly dusted with powdered cinnamon sugar. Served with salted caramel toffee sauce and creme anglaise. 4-star ONLY because the kitchen was behind on orders and it delayed our order party of 8. Our server was sweet made sure we were aware of the delay and was accommodating at checkout.

Note: review may be influenced by how hangry I was High quality ingredients and delicious dishes. I was just very irritated by how minuscule the portions were :feelsReal: Additionally, the potatoes were 2 salty. The things we ordered were kinda basic so I would like to try some of their seasonal stuff sometime! The service was occasionally forgetful but was otherwise prompt. Interior design was p cozy too!

First Watch is my favorite breakfast restaurant in Upper Arlington. Their menu is pretty straightforward-- they just do all the American breakfast classics really well! Their coffee is great, their service is great, and the price is reasonable given the quality. My kids are still too young for us to enjoy dining out for breakfast too often, but we'll definitely be back again for breakfast!

Had brunch here recently and it was good. We had to wait about 45 min to get seated, but we also showed up on a Sunday at 11:30am. Not a lot of seating for waiting. When we did get seated, our table was clean and our server was fast. The reason I didn't give higher stars was because the floor was so slippery. It wasn't just me, I saw others slipping and sliding on the dining room floor too. I don't know it was just recently waxed, or if a bunch of oil was spilled in it without being properly cleaned, but it was really hard to walk and not slip and fall! Clean, well stocked bathrooms as well. Nice staff. Overall I liked my experience here, but I'd recommend the new First Watch, at 6505 Dublin Center Drive Dublin, OH 43017, over this one hands down!

This is a chain, but if you're looking for an affordable, healthy breakfast or lunch option, First Watch is an excellence choice. They have a bit of everything, but my favorites are their juices, "power bowls", and seasonal selections. The service has a bit of a Bob Evans feel to it (but the food is much better, in my opinion). You wait to be seated, service is pretty quick, you get your receipt at your table, and you pay at the register when you leave. There is only indoor seating at First Watch.

It's what you'd expect from a First Watch. Good service, food was decent. The Ginger Spice Donuts were very delicious.

Firstly, the quality of the food was exceptional, which is fundamentally what a diner should deliver. We ordered a DK glazed donut, which met expectations, and I chose the Meat & Cheese omelet, which was comparable to other diner offerings. My husband ordered a skillet dish, which he reported as satisfactory. Although visually unremarkable, the taste was commendable. However, the service was disappointing and almost non-existent. During a busy period, there was no hostess apparent, forcing us to inquire at the cashier area about seating. They took our contact information, and shortly afterward, our table was ready. We were seated and provided menus, but the wait for a server to take our order was excessively long. It was indicated that coffee was self-serve and that customers should select their own mug. Subsequently, we observed no further service at our table, and the food was delivered by staff members elsewhere. I had to locate condiments independently. After finishing our meal, we returned to the cashier to settle our bill, which was not presented to us. The seating area within the diner is small, which is expected given the establishment's size. One additional concern is parking: the lot accommodates approximately seven vehicles, and street parking in Grandview Heights is limited. This constrains accessibility and could diminish visitors' overall experience in the area. It is hoped that in the future, the service at this establishment will align with the high quality of its cuisine.
