One of my favorite features is the Walk of Presidents upstairs. The lifelike presidential statues are fascinating, and you can listen to each president's story as you stroll through history. Kids (and adults!) will also love the indoor Ferris wheel (only $1 a ride), the classic shooting gallery, arcade-style attractions, bowling, the candy shop, and the impressive aquarium. You could easily spend a couple of hours here even if you're not shopping. Don't miss the cafeteria if you get hungry. It's a great place to grab a bite, and while you're there, be sure to stop by the fudge counter. They offer free samples of their delicious homemade fudge, making it hard to leave without buying a piece or two! When it comes to shopping, they truly have something for everyone. Whether you're looking for clothing, shoes, sporting goods, camping gear, coolers, golf equipment, water toys, or just about anything for the outdoors, chances are you'll find it here. The selection is incredible. What really stands out is the customer service. Every employee I've encountered has been cheerful, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. Located at Legends in Sparks, Scheels is one of my favorite places to browse, shop, and spend an afternoon. Whether you're shopping, exploring, or just looking for a fun family outing, this place has something for everyone!

They're overpriced, especially on non-sale items on almost everything. I stumbled here in the very rare circumstance I needed something before Amazon could deliver it -- a snorkel set before leaving for Hawaii the next day. I was blown away what was inside. A full size Ferris wheel? Shooting Gallery? Cafe? Candy Store? On and On. While not nearly as impressive as the Bass Pros headquarters store in Springfield MO, for those in Reno locals/visitors, it's worth a visit just to see the place, especially when super cold or hot out. Liberal's (REI folk) might find some of the stuff amusing (the premium gun collection and the huge safe assortment come to mind.) I'd give about 30 minutes to wander around. We are very loyal customers. Quality/Quantity - Here for the Wax and Watch event DIG. My first time and what an amazing event. Fundraising for so many nonprofits, see pictures. Also sponsored by Fifty Fifty Brewing Co; I had a few too many beers, too good of a time. I also found out about Fifty's Grand opening at RPM, which we also supported and attended the next day, see other Yelp Review. Non alcoholic drinks were also available. Too lazy to have brought our equipment for the wax. Plus Mt Rose gives us each 4 free waxes that I rarely use up. Raffle - We did NOT win. Atmosphere - Clean and organized location. Love the NV art on the side of the building/in the parking lot. Cool! See pictures. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm and on Sundays from 10am to 6pm. Small parking lot, but because we came in off peak (weird) hours, it is rarely an issue for us. And today we got lucky as the lot was full but a car gave us his space. Service - The team is so welcoming and friendly. This is the #1 reason we are loyal customers. Events available - See website. Again, my first but NOT last time that I will attend an event. We will probably come back Sunday for the Mt Rose Passholder Spring Sale. Price - Expensive, but worth the quality, service, and culture. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1973. And thank you for also giving 1% to not-for-profit workers "to defend the earth." And having programs that raise awareness of environmental and social issues. My favorite program is Worn Wear. These socks come with a lifetime warranty and she tried to tell me that without the membership they had no way of tracking purchases right after she asked me for my phone number.
