We always come here as a tradition for photos with Santa and the Easter bunny. They are always so kind to offer a toy and a free photo and the option to purchase more. We also like to shop around when we come and often find ourselves in the camping section. They have a wide selection from home goods to outdoor camping gear, fishing, hunting, etc. We love seeing their animals on display and their large fish tanks.

Brought our son here for Santa pictures and some shopping. It was such a wonderful experience! My son is 5 months old and didn't cry at all! Santa was authentic and the set up was beautiful! Making an appointment for the pictures was quick and easy! The store was clean! The deals they had for flannels and other things were very nice! My son loved loved loved the fish tank and watching all of the fish swim around! Super fun experience and everyone was so nice!

This is a massive sporting goods store with a lot to look at. Prices are a bit high, but they have lots of sales and clearance items that are 25 to 50% off. Unfortunately for me, even the sale prices are too high for me. Everything seems to be good quality and lots of name brands. Great for anyone needing sports gear or clothing who can afford it. The displays are fun to look at, so even if you're not buying, there's something to see.

Grandpa brought me here to do a bit of shopping for my birthday for a good pair of cargo pants. It was very easy to find them and one of the employees was very quick in opening the dressing room for us so that I could try them on! They were very friendly and helpful! The inside of the store was very well organized so it was easy to find anything we need! The atmosphere was very clean and friendly with employees always happy to answer questions and more than a few of them asking to make sure we were finding everything we needed! By the end of our trip I had a very nice new pair of pants at a great price! The material feels great and it fits me perfectly! Grandpa also got himself some nice new shorts as well! A very nice trip with nice prices too! Will definitely be coming by again if I'm in the area!

I a love coming here. They have so much good stuff. The inside is massive. My son loves looking at all the animals and toys. My only suggestion is for them to get a better selection of carhart women's pants. they need to add more cashiers. The line is always long and only one person rining up.

Everything went wrong and they fixed it up better than ever. Can't be happier, and have a generator now, my first! A new dad well not the equivalent but still happy it's still in the box , I'll unbox it later when Carol is ready! The Value of the Champion is the best part and duel fuel perfectly balanced. Again, thanks !

Complimentary photo in Santa's Wonderland sleeve plus tournaments to color, antler headbands and a plate to create for Santa's cookies!

I just wanted to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT and say THANK YOU to the wonderful Verdi Cabela's associates and the Jolly 'Ol Elf himself for creating special holiday magic for kids! Not only is Santa's corner of the store beautiful, like you've stepped into Santa's Village at the Nort Pole, AND not only do guests who visit Santa receive a beautiful complimentary photo (advance reservation required on Cabela's website) AND an adorable craft as a keepsake...but Santa's helpers are friendly, kind, and helpful. There was a little issue with the photo printer while we were there, but they resolved it quickly and got those photos back on track! I'd especially like to thank Santa, who took the time to chat with and listen to my kids for the several minutes it took to get the printer back online! It really made their day! Thank you all for giving guests that extra special magical experience!!!

One of the largest outdoors stores I have ever visited. The retail environment is impressive with their animal and waterfall displays, and the large hero's clan hall style roof / ceiling. Employees were nice to us when we came in to shop for winter recreation gear. They have some fun snacks, such as Cabela's pure fudge. Delicious and fun dessert to pack before you head out on your adventure.

Part of the Bass Pro family of stores, this location does not disappoint in size. We walked around but bought just a hat and candy. It's fun to browse but there wasn't many sales on items we would want. The fish tank and stuffed animal displays were impressive.

We are very loyal customers. Quality/Quantity - Here for the Wax and Watch event DIG. My first time and what an amazing event. Fundraising for so many nonprofits, see pictures. Also sponsored by Fifty Fifty Brewing Co; I had a few too many beers, too good of a time. I also found out about Fifty's Grand opening at RPM, which we also supported and attended the next day, see other Yelp Review. Non alcoholic drinks were also available. Too lazy to have brought our equipment for the wax. Plus Mt Rose gives us each 4 free waxes that I rarely use up. Raffle - We did NOT win. Atmosphere - Clean and organized location. Love the NV art on the side of the building/in the parking lot. Cool! See pictures. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm and on Sundays from 10am to 6pm. Small parking lot, but because we came in off peak (weird) hours, it is rarely an issue for us. And today we got lucky as the lot was full but a car gave us his space. Service - The team is so welcoming and friendly. This is the #1 reason we are loyal customers. Events available - See website. Again, my first but NOT last time that I will attend an event. We will probably come back Sunday for the Mt Rose Passholder Spring Sale. Price - Expensive, but worth the quality, service, and culture. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1973. And thank you for also giving 1% to not-for-profit workers "to defend the earth." And having programs that raise awareness of environmental and social issues. My favorite program is Worn Wear. You can either sell Patagonia your used clothes or trade them in so they can fix it. I believe that reusing is better than recycling. Furthermore, they give you credit ranging from $15 to $150.

I rolled into Tahoe with two brand new pairs of Burton Step On boots... two different sizes. I bought them online sight unseen. Kind of a last minute trip. So, I went to Tahoe Sports Ltd. and asked the guy in the snowboard section if he could help me get them sorted even though I hadn't purchased them - he said no problem! I spent about an hour with Vega trying them on, tweaking them with inserts, talking through how they felt, using a toe box during the heating process, etc. It was a great experience! They charged me for the inserts and a nominal fee for the fitting help. I rode them all that afternoon and all day the following day - they were perfect! And, I hope he sees this review so he knows that :-) Just as he said, when I was riding them, the toe box was fine, and everything was comfortable. Because the bindings are essentially built into the boot (I had the Pro Shot X's), they are super snug and so when I wasn't riding on breaks, I would loosen the BOAs and take a break. But anyway, the experience with Vegas was perfect. If you have trouble with your snowboard boots, or want new ones, you should definitely go see Vega in the board shop... even if you bought your boots somewhere else... they literally do not care at all about that part at all... they just want to make people comfortable in their boots! Thanks Vega and your colleague (I didn't catch his name) - you guys were awesome Trevor

This was hard to give a one star but they absolutely deserved it…read more I have purchased gear here a while ago when I was a ski patroller. The service during that interaction was excellent and I still love my fitted boots. I came in today because I am due for a new pair of boots and know this store has an excellent selection. I was unable to really take a look at any new boots because the management was conducting a job interview in the boot fitting area. Not sure that is the place for an interview bit that was not even the bad part if you can believe that. While looking at some boots on sale a worker identifying himself as a boot professional and fitter walked up. I told him I had purchased boots here before and loved them. I started to talk about the boots when he interrupted me and stated he will not talk to me about boots (yep I was thinking the same thing you are right now WTF!). He then said he had to look at my foot first or he had no recommendation. Ok I understand that but you can still let me know what the new boots are different pricing etc. He absolutely refused to discuss any boots and then said he has to charge me to look at my foot. There is no way I would let him do anything for me if he was the ski boot foot guru of the world. I had $1000 ready to spend on a boot. Instead I walked out never to return to Sports LTD. In case you are wondering it was an older gentleman in his 60's with a grey beard and no name tag. I will find another boot fitter.
