Absolutely love this coffee shop! My friend and I were on the hunt for a regular coffee shop to work at together relatively close to Arcadia, and I think we have found the one! The ambience at Savvvy's is extremely focused and relaxing. Its a great place to work with super fast wifi, a plethera of outlets, and super comfortable seating. We found that this was one of our deal breakers with other coffee shops but Savvvys really takes it away! On the weekdays, seating is easy to come by, and they often have outdoor seating, but on weekends it can be a bit more packed. We the baristas here, they are always so patient and skilled in their coffee making. I highly recommend getting the oat milk foam that they offer, especially on their iced chai latte, its one of my go to drinks. As for the price, I will say its to be expected being right at the heart of old town Pasadena, but it is quite the treat to give yourself after a long days work. My only "complaint" about the shop is to please extend the hours! My friend and I love going here but wish it would stay open longer (they close at 4 PM). read more

Service was super fast, I ordered pickup on Doordash to use up some credits and it was ready in 5min on a Sunday morning. I loved coming here for a few hours to work! I greatly enjoyed the latte and croissant that I got. I was really torn between options as the specialty lattes spoke to me just as much as the smoothie and protein shake options. I'd gladly come here again to enjoy the patio, a coffee, and the productivity that came with the whole experience! The seating is kind of tricky as I think part of the outdoor patio is for seating at the restaurant across the way. Nice pastry selection, many from Delight Pastry which is a big plus in my book. My Americano with a splash of oat milk was also good. I ordered a basic drink, so not much to write about there. I didn't interact with the barista much but she was pleasant. Parking can be difficult because it is Old Town but plenty of parking garages. I think there were outlets inside but it was full, so I couldn't verify. Wi-Fi is free so this is the perfect place to hunker down with your laptop. Deciding on what to order wasn't easy. There were so many yummy options. I finally selected the Maple Latte, which is comprised of espresso, maple syrup, cinnamon & milk (alt options available) topped with brûléed brown sugar and sprinkled with gold dust. (Their syrups are made in house, which adds to the quality.) As I watched her prepare my latte it dawned on me that Savvy is a nickname for Savannah, and I was most certain that this darling gal was the owner. What a lovely spot for yummy pastries and unique caffeinated beverages! I stopped into Savvy's after a few other places in the area were a little too crowded for my liking. Savvy's was almost full but they have this lovely outdoor seating area that makes it feel a little less stuffy. I got the blueberry matcha and the pistachio matcha croissant and they were both delicious. I love that the blueberry syrup didn't taste overly sweet, it was a light natural-tasting sweetness that paired perfectly with the matcha. It had to be done with hemp milk, no substitutions-- I don't know why. I didn't like it because it was too watery but the flavor was solid and hit the spot. It was also a little weird with the grittiness of something in the coffee. I tried the Lychee Raspberry Croissant and was disappointed that it was served in a wax bag instead of a plate. Was I supposed to tell them it was a dine-in order? I wasn't asked; I guess I just assumed it would be plated. It wasn't the best croissant. It was filled with raspberry jam and that's all I tasted. If it wasn't in the name, I wouldn't have known it was supposed to be lychee. The second time around, I got a Peach Cobbler with oat milk. I would've gotten breve instead but they didn't offer it. Again, there was that odd gritty texture and I figured that it probably came from the cookie crumble since it was an ingredient in both drinks that I had ordered. I've decided I'm not a fan of their lattes. They just taste too thin and watery. If they offered breve or a coconut creme/oat milk blend, it would be absolutely perfect. My litmus test of coffee shops is their rose flavored offerings lol - so I ordered their Rosey Cheeks Iced Coffee and it was PERFECT!! A very strong essence of the rose flavor shines through without being too sweet - and it's delightfully creamy as well and beautiful! It comes topped with edible rose petals and GOLD flakes!! Wow!! I'm told they make all their syrups in house and it shows. They have a large menu of drinks that all sound fantastic- as well as seasonal specials and quite a large pastry case full of deliciousness!! They even support other local nearby businesses - getting their croissants from Delight Pastry down the street. I definitely plan on trying the Creme coco croissant on my next visit - and probably with the Maple Latte everyone raves about haha! The space is roomy, elegantly modern with lovely art hanging by the windows and various types of seating - from small cafe tables to couches to wall benches and outdoor patio seating that is well shaded. The colors are all very calming and chill - they play lovely cafe style music. It's located in a great part of Old town Pasadena too. Their prices are good for the area. Staff were just wonderful. Parking is all street parking or in one of the many public garages. I parked in De Lacey Street garage very nearby for very reasonable prices. Been craving some coffee so I found this place on Yelp. What caught my eye was the maple latte on the menu - the cinnamon toasted brown sugar! So I decided to drop by. It's a very boutiquey coffee place perfect for an intimate drink and perfect place to do some work! They have a lot of coffee choices as well as pastries. The server greeted us with a warm welcome and and explained the menu and popular items and one of them was the maple latte so I ordered that without any hesitation. Next time I want to try the lavender latte with honey which also sounds amazing The maple latte was perfect. Very photogenic coffee shop in the alleyway across from Edwin Mills. We got the classic shaken iced latte and Savvvy's special latte. They were similar with the dusting of cinnamon but the special was slightly sweetened. My favorite was the pistachio croissant which has what tasted like marzipan.
