So I work in the Pleasanton area and locked my keys in my car, but within less than 30 minutes AAA was able to respond to me quick when the original estimated wait time was 60 minutes. Then the driver Bryon showed up and was so chill, friendly, fast and efficient! I told him this type of service is really appreciated and it's rare to find good attitude people who enjoy helping others and I said of course I'm going to give you an outstanding review! I gave AAA a phone call to use their Roadside Assistance due to my younger sister being stranded on the freeway. The morning was already hectic due to her running late and a multitude of things not going in our favor, so as you could imagine stress levels were already running pretty high. I was able to get her off to school and returned to the stranded vehicle that was facing heavy traffic in its directions. This was not a great feeling whatsoever. However, Save Tow came to the rescue and one of their charismatic drivers named Glen came to save the day. I am so thankful that Save Tow sent him to help! His enthusiasm and graceful charm really turned my gloomy morning around. Glen was all smiles, and his demeanor rubbed of on me in such a positive way. Glen assured me that everything was fine and he could help my situation in no time. I call them to get my van towed to a repair shop since the starter was not working. Glen came and instead of just towing the car asked me what was wrong, we ran a test, he brought his hand held battery charger and connected it to my battery. The car started as he had predicted. I really appreciate him going above and beyond to get my situation resolved and not just tow my car. Makes his company look very good. Mid-way through a hectic day of work related appointments, I walked back to my car while fishing through my purse for the familiar jangle of my keys. I wasn't having any luck finding them when I spied them taunting me on the seat of my locked car. Being a AAA member I made a call and was reassured that help would be there soon. I thought, "yeah, right." Luckily there was a coffee shop nearby where I thought I could manage to get some work done. While waiting in line to order a coffee, I received a call from the driver asking me where I was parked. I rushed over to meet him. By the time I got there, he had begun filling out the paperwork and was ready for my signature. Within another 5 minutes my car was unlocked and I was on my way! Left the lights on and the car was completely dead. SaveTow should up 30 minutes faster than AAA said he would. Usually, it is stick the wires on, charge the car, and leave. Byron asked a number of questions about the car and then walked me through the the results of the charge on this meter. But seriously, the car is 10 months old with 8k miles on it. I called AAA the other day because my battery was dead. I expected to wait for a few hours, and I was soon pleasantly surprised. In about 30 minutes, a gentleman by the name of Byron pulls up from Save Tow. Not only was he quite friendly and polite, he was extremely knowledgeable. He tested my vehicle to see if there was a cause for my battery dying. He spoke to me and explained each step of the way. He was so thorough in his explanations that I didn't have any questions on what he was doing. He ran a complete diagnostics on my vehicle and it turned out that everything was fine with my SUV, and that the battery was just old. On Saturday, my husband and I were unable to start our car after dining at the McDonald's on the corner of Dublin Blvd and Village Parkway. We called AAA for service and Byron from Save Tow arrived shortly thereafter. The test he performed on our vehicle showed that the battery was bad. To make a long story short further testing showed our vehicle also had an alternator problem. Byron not satisfied with the results further cleaned the positive cable which had become corroded beyond the battery terminal. Upon retesting both the alternator and battery passed. If Byron had not taken the time to figure out what was wrong with our car we could have faced an expensive and frustrating repair. Thank you Byron! read more

Worst tow truck company EVER!!!! Last time I called AAA and was dispatched to them, the driver took an extra 2.5 hours to show, making me wait close to 5 hours late at night in the cold with 2 kids on a dark hillside. Driver showed up DRUNK!!! Then ran over the fence where we had it towed. Tonight, been sitting in the cold with my two young kids for close to 2 hours. So, Happy Monday to me! I woke up to find the battery in my SUV had completely drained over the weekend and I needed a jump. I called AAA and they said the driver would be there within 90 minutes! I was resigned to waiting given the state of the weather, but Byron from Save Tow came within 10 minutes of my call! I took Byron my vehicle and he got to work right away. He got the vehicle up and running. He also gave me a diagnostic of my battery's state -- it was so discharged that I could potentially do damage to the battery, alternator and one other connected part of the system (Byron told me the name of it, but I currently can't remember it).
