Had Noah from Marquez Mobile Mechanic out for my Kia Soul today, and he was great. Clear on pricing before touching anything, the diagnostic fee. Easy to deal with -- I'd call them again without thinking twice. read more

Provided the best quote for a new battery and oil change. Arrived on time, finished on time and was professional. Great experience without ever leaving my house. I highly recommend. read more

Car trouble on New Year's Eve is not a nice way to start the year. However, finding Marquez DEFINITELY helped take the stress and financial sting away! My 2012 Kia So was left 45 miles away after ubering home. I didn't even need to be with my car for them to diagnose and fix on the spot. They first came to me to get the car keys, drove 40 miles to my car, ran a diagnostic and was in great communication via text and phone calls regarding the situation. I also appreciated the fact that they were willing to try cleaning things first before jumping to the money grab. They also did a great job explaining what was going on, options and potential costs without being. Service really is guaranteed, they were willing to come out, no charge and run a diagnostic a couple days later to ease my mind about a light that came on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND read more

Noah did a good job on my brakes and very knowledgeable. it timely matter I would recommend them for any

I've now used Marquez Mobile Mechanic several times and can't speak highly enough of the service, honesty and fair pricing. I had a camshaft position sensor problem on an RV - a ford dealer charged me a fortune to repair it. A month later the same problem occurred on my SUV - Marquez came to the rescue with no need to go through the trouble and inconvenience of having my vehicle towed to a shop. He has since solved a check engine light due to a vacuum leak and now just had them fix a coolant leak on another vehicle. I wish I had found them a long time ago! read more

My 2016 VW Beetle had a terrible oil leak for after a Pep Boys visit. After dealing with this issue back and forth with Pep Boys since October 2023 (yes, I've been dealing with this for 7 months at this point because I kept having to deal with Pep Boys' terrible customer service BS). Long story short, I gave up on them and decided to go shop around for a reliable mechanic that won't rip me off. To Pep Boys' credit, they did diagnose the problem correctly-- it was a broken oil pressure sensor-- because I got a second opinion from a VW dealership. After being sick and tired of topping up my oil for months until I could afford to fix it, I finally found Marquez Mobile Mechanic. Noah was pretty straightforward about his pricing quote. After booking an appointment, he came out and fixed the initial issue of the oil pressure sensor, however, he found something else that was the root cause! The sensor was actually broken cause it was soaked in oil, and the oil leak was caused by an over tightened oil drain plug. I ended up calling Noah to come fix my car for the second time for the drain plug the same week! Overall, I did save $200 from the VW dealership's quote to fix the oil pressure sensor, but remember, they didn't know about that drain plug being messed up. So I'm confident I saved more money than this. Anyways, this guy is reliable, trustworthy, and prompt! read more

2010 Ford Focus wouldn't start. Why? The anti-theft needed to be reset. I had never heard of mobile mechanics but I am so glad I called Marquez Mobile Mechanic. I got an appointment from 7:30 to 8:30 PM. Noah arrived at 7:30 and set to work diagnosing what might be the trouble and within 90 minutes success! I highly recommend Marquez Mobile Mechanic and Noah. Sandy Van Deventer Manteca CA 95336 read more

Spoke with someone there, explained what I needed. Said he was busy, asked me to send photos and he'd get back with me. It was early afternoon so I expected a reply that day. Didn't get one. Following morning I texted "Are you still interested in the Job?". No response. That was last week so I found someone reliable. From my experience, don't do business with this outfit. If they don't have enough class to say they aren't interested and just ghost people, then find someone reliable because it sure isn't this business. BTW, will wait for the "I was busy, lost ur # " crap which is typical. It's not okay to waste people's time. read more

Everything went well. On-time, responsive , fair pricing and honest. I couldn't have asked for more. They will work crazy hours to accommodate your needs. read more

Noah arrived on time, and did the brakes on my truck quickly and efficiently. When he was finished , he mentioned additional repairs that should probably be taken care of in the coming year, but wasn't pushy about it, more like he was just letting me know, not trying to upsell me. The price was reasonable, especially since he came to me and I didn't have to drop my vehicle off anywhere. Will definitely be calling for anything else I need repaired. read more

Be careful when you decide to get a diagnosis work from these guys. They are knowledgeable but won't roll the diagnostic fee towards the repair. Which means if they got the diagnosis wrong and you decide to go with another mechanic then you end up hiring another mechanic for the wrong job or you end up paying again for the right diagnosis. Always do your research. I had cylinders misfiring and i asked for a diagnosis. Mechanic looked into the engine bay and found some coolant so diagnosed it as a leaking head gasket after I told him that the previous owner poured sealant into the coolant tank. He didn't check the engine codes, didn't test the compression, didn't check for overheating, didn't check spark plugs, coils or fuel injectors. I had another mechanic open the heads up and it wasn't the gasket. There was no leak around the head from what we could tell. There was no mixing of coolant and oil. The engine didn't overheat either. read more

The service and technician were great. Had a battery problem and they correctly diagnosed it, and provided me with all the details. The cost is comparable to what you would pay for bringing it in to a shop. Very happy with the service. read more

I don't like to leave a review but this one was super frustrating. Honestly I do not know where to begin. This company (Marquez Mobile Mechanic) is really too good to be true. I had an emergency and I needed someone to diagnose my car and fix it between Saturday and Sunday due to my Mechanic being closed during the weekend and needing my car for work on Monday. After looking up for available Mechanic around my area, I came across Marquez Mobile Mechanic. A person name Noah came out and looked into the hood and looked at the tires and deducted that my car issues are Alignment issue or ABS. I ask Noah if his able to fix the alignment since that was the "main" issue per Noah. Noah said he can but I have to reached out to the office and he seems to be in hurry. For about a 15 minute "diagnostic" I was charge $165 + $8 tax. I took the receipt to my trusted Mechanic on Monday thinking Noah's diagnostic was sufficient. My Mechanics first question was why was I charged tax? In state of CA Mechanics do not charge tax for labor, per my Mechanic tax is only applied if tangible parts were used in the car. Also the diagnostic was completely incorrect. They asked me if the car was inspected by jacking it up and I said no because Noah never did that. When they plug it to their computer it has nothing to do with alignment nor ABS. I try to be gentle and ask for my refund but no one responded yet and that was Monday 11/04. I also again on 11/6 I have requested for refund but still no response. If you are in an emergency, please wait for your trusted Mechanic and do not go for what seems to be too good to be true. If I could give negative start I would give that but unfortunately to write this comment I have to give one. read more

I was looking for a mechanic for my mini cooper when I came across Noah. He was very responsive and gave me a full diagnostic on my vehicle, he then determined the main issue along with little others very fast and scheduled another appointment to fix (also with very fair pricing) it's rare to find someone with the skillset along with the pure intentions of morals and character at least in these times to get a job done, and get it done precisely and accurately. Definitely recommend you won't be disappointed read more

Horrible communication and wasted my time. Said he was going to show up but never did.

Noah was fantastic! They showed up within an hour of requesting and were very kind and helpful. definitely recommend!

Cool mechanic but the service wasn't something I expected!! Poor work quality. Take your car to the actual repair shop unless it's something simple and easy!! read more

Can't speak to to the quality of the work or to what they are like as people but what I can say I was quoted a price for a repair that was 600 plus dollars that I was able to do myself in 90 mins with YouTube read more

I live in the Berkeley Hills and had a Mini that would not start after AAA replaced the battery. Rather than have it towed in to a shop, I decided to use Mobile Mechanic, who came the day after I contacted them. Even though I was told to do a compression check, Noah suggested a diagnostic check at $162. The problem was discovered to be a loose fuse. Noah explanations were thorough and NOah. was very patient in answering all my questions and trying to come up with affordable fixes. I was very glad that I used Noah's services. The diagnosis was made quickly and, since the car is still at home, I have the luxury of trying to come up with a work around for my loose fuse instead of having the car at a repair shop with the only alternative being an expensive repair. read more

He came out and registered my ECM in my car within a few minutes. He was on time, friendly, reasonable price. Will absolutely be back

Requested a brake repair for my front & back brakes. Requested rotors, sensors, and brake pads and asked if they were original twice and was told they are. Parts were ordered on the 13th and Scheduled the repair for the 20th morning and was told during the scheduled time that they can no longer come that day due to a technician calling out. Rescheduled to the 23rd and after arrival said they can't repair it as they are not equipped to lift my car. They offered a complete refund or keeping the parts & being charged for just that. I decided to keep the parts just to realize the parts aren't original and there were no rotors hence they were not gonna be changed if the repair had happened (without being told) and weren't even part of the order to being with. I returned the parts and got back my deposit. Wasted 10 days where I could have gotten it fixed elsewhere, and integrity is questionable. read more
