Great experience at Bush Motor Works! Steve, the owner, was incredibly kind and took the time to check out my car for free. He didn't find anything wrong and was honest instead of trying to sell me something I didn't need. Really appreciate the honesty and great service. Highly recommend! read more

I feel extremely blessed to have found Bush Motor Works. I used to take my wife's Mercedes-Benz GLE and my BMW 535i to the dealership for service, but after a terrible experience at Mercedes-Benz of Walnut Creek--where they damaged my windshield during service and initially refused to take responsibility--I decided to look elsewhere. Finding Bush Motor Works was the best decision I could have made. Steve is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely cares about his customers. The service was outstanding, and the entire team was professional and friendly. I'm excited to build a long-term relationship with Steve and Bush Motor Works and will be trusting them with all of my vehicles moving forward. Thank you, Steve, and thank you to your entire team for providing such exceptional service. I highly recommend Bush Motor Works to anyone looking for an honest and reliable automotive shop. read more

Steve is great! Worked on both of my cars and I highly recommend him. Great work, communication and overall service. I will definitely use him moving forward read more

My son has been going here for his BMW maintenance and highly recommended them. I took my 530E PHEV BMW to them found their mechanic to be extremely knowledgeable. He quickly figured out why our car was not charging at home. Somebody had put a tractor battery in place of the battery that should have been used. The mechanic swapped it out for a reasonable price and now I'm able to charge my car at home. Since the car was in the shop for a little longer than they had promised, Steve offered a small discount without being asked. He also informed us of recalls and directed us to the Fairfiekd dealership instead of the local one, which does not have the best reputation. Steve checked the tires for issues as well. I would trust them in the future and we'll take my car back to them. read more

I took my 2014 BMW in to get the rear brakes repaired and had a great experience. I dropped the car off Friday morning, and the job was completed by Saturday afternoon. I'm extremely happy with the efficient work Steve and his team provided. I was initially concerned about getting the same repair done at the dealership because of the high pricing, but Steve quickly put those concerns to rest. He was honest, straightforward, and got me back on the road within a day. If you own a BMW, I highly recommend bringing your car to Steve. He clearly knows BMWs inside and out, offers fair pricing, and tells it like it is. Thanks again, Steve! read more

After constantly being overcharged by dealerships and not having good experiences with them, I finally decided to look for an independent shop near by and came across Bush Motor Works. Working with Matt and Steve has been an amazing experience as they provide the best quality in their work, with honest and fair pricing. They are dedicated to their customers to ensure they provide the best service and I'm grateful for all the work they put in to make sure my car is in the best shape. This will be my go-to shop for all my future services! 10/10 highly recommend! read more

Such an amazing experience working with Steve and Matt. I rarely trust people working on my cars. I usually do it myself. And for the first time I felt extremely comfortable trusting Bush Motor Works after realizing how knowledgeable and the experience they carry on German cars. And sure enough, I was not disappointed. Highly recommended. Not to mention their professionalism, experience, and extremely reasonable charge for such an amazing work!!! Thank you guys! read more

I would give Steve & Matt 10 stars if I could! I have been bringing my cars to them for almost 18 years. They are always professional, honest, and very caring about my safety driving my car. I am a senior citizen and I believe with all my heart, he takes extra care, making sure everything is working properly. My car was in bad condition when I bought it in this time, but he kept it extra time to make sure everything was working properly. And he always tries to save me as much money as he can! I appreciate him and his staff and trust them. I will never use any other mechanic! Thank you Steve & Matt for being decent & honest people.10 read more

Bush Motors saved the day. BMW dealer in Concord missed a broken coolant container, would not help out. I looked up a locally owned BMW shop and found Bush Motors. They were incredibly nice, understanding and helpful. My car is running fine, they also found good pricing for the replacement piece my car needed. Other plus, my BMW X1 was not passing smog check, at one point and Bush Motors found a dealer repair that should be covered. Long story not a recall but unless you are car savvy you won't know the automaker covers a replacement. Went to BMW in Concord with a sheep explaining the free replacement that is warranted (printed by Bush motors) as always the dealer wanted to charge and would not take the diagnosis I got from Bush, thankfully they were on point in the free replacement so BMW fixed the part. Do support local, my experience with Bush Motors is a reminder that there are still good people in this world who care for you, for your safety in my case and is not like corporate who just want money. read more

Our X3 was overheating on Friday afternoon of Labor Day weekend, and Steve was not just responsive, but very helpful with a quick preliminary diagnosis (we got there about closing time of a holiday weekend). He followed up over the holiday weekend, and finished the needed repairs (water pump and thermostat) quickly. The price was fair and actually even quite a bit less than we had expected. The repairs were efficient and well done. I can't speak highly enough of their quality, fairness, communication, and speed. Very highly recommended!! read more

I very much appreciate the thorough work done in this shop. Fair prices and appropriate time frame for turn around.

My husband gave me an older model 528i which needed some work. I researched Bush Motor Works and saw fantastic reviews from clients. So I took my BMW in. I cannot tell you how happy I am! Steve and his crew (Matt and Christina) were absolutely awesome. They did everything they said they would do and checked things over well. I expected to spend an arm and a leg but they were so reasonably priced I was actually shocked. I would recommended this place to any one! I told my husband I wanted to keep taking my BMW in but that would mean it's not operating well! lol! Thank you Steve and your team for your expertise and excellent work! read more

I have an almost new Mercedes C300 and somehow my battery went out. It happened to go out as I was due for an oil change B1 service. The dealership quoting me $799 for the B1 service because my prepaid services expired my last service. They also quoted me close to $700 for the battery replacement and installation. I typically only go to the dealership but my dad assured me that it was safe to go to a dealership who specializes in European cars. I am so grateful I searched Yelp and found Bush Motors Works. They truly have earned their 5 Star Status. I worked with Steven who made the entire process comfortable They are honest and don't try to up charge nor over charge their customers. They have earned a loyal customer. Highly recommended. read more

I brought my 2014 e350 to Steve for oil change, transmission service, change spark plug, and radiator flush.. all done in cheap quote. After few days, leak from transmission pan was dripping due to own fault as parts I provided for them was defective. Without hesitation, Steve and Matt redo and replace original parts without additional charge. They are awesome. Lesson learned is just bring your car for check up and repair and don't provide them of any cheap parts.. they use all oem parts and all quote are cheap amd fair. read more

I've always said, sometimes the best businesses don't even sell you anything. I brought my E46 M3 in here to diagnose a loud sound coming from the engine. (Vanos, timing chain, solenoids, who knows) Steve he would get to it as soon as he could (and man, he had a lot of BMW's in his garage). Steve called me back within a day, and said said he had checked the engine codes, and "x" was the issue. However, because he backs all his work up with his own money, he said he wasn't confident that he could address the issues I had with absolute certainty, and stated he didn't want to put me or him in an even worse situation. He then gave me a few recommendations of some shops that specialize in M's. RESPECT. Because in a world where some mechanics are eager to take in everything, and try and fix everything, regardless of their experience or confidence level, it's refreshing to know that someone actually cares that everything is copacetic with their customers. So Steve didn't sell my anything, except confidence in him, that If my BMW (or any future BMWs) had any issues, he is the first mechanic I whole heatedly trust in taking a look at my car to let me know what to do. So please, Bring your BMW here with full confidence assurance that Steve and his team will take care of you. read more

Had to tow our car to Bush because we were experiencing a suspension issue with the car not rising anymore. I sent in an inquiry on saturday (not expecting a response til Monday since theyre closed on weekends) before towing it there & the owner Steve responded the next day via email. with the holidays that week, they were closed for 2 days so we didnt expect to get an answer on the issue right away, steve made sure to call or email us to keep us updated on the process & even went out of his way to help find solutions. We truly appreciate the time & work spent on our car. once the parts arrived they made sure to get everything done ASAP even coming in on the weekend. Thank you, Steve & Matt for being honest & helpful through the process! we will definitely be using Bush again & referring people to them! not many honest mechanic shops around that wont make u feel like you need to sell your soul for a repair! read more

My wife and I have been coming to Bush Motor Works now for over 6 Years. We are a BMW family, having a 645ci Convertible, X-5 and X-1. Whenever the engine light comes on, we head down to Bush Motor Works for a evaluation of the vehicle. My 645ci had been sitting for a while, I knew I needed front struts but wasn't ready to spend all that $$$, but it was time. I took my 645ci in for evaluation. Not only did it need struts, it needed Control arms, and a water pump. Matt was very comprehensive in explaining to me what he found, and made adequate recommendations to resolve not only these issues, but replacement of hoses, weather stripping around my windshield, and re-installation of my rear view mirror that bracket had stripped out. Come to find out Matt and I have a lot in common, as relationships in business is #1. As a business owner myself, I can appreciate his attention to detail, and immediately resolving any issues and/or misunderstanding that may arise during the course of a repair. Shout out to Steve for Bringing on such an awesome Mechanic/Manager. Matt is an awesome addition to the Bush Motor Works Family. Shout out to Brandee for getting me in ASAP. I think I've found my Forever Mechanic! First experience at Bush Motor Works was awesome. As a woman I am always weary of mechanic's but Bush Motor Works had me at "Hello". Top notch customer service, reliable, trustworthy & exceptional service team. My front struts went out on my 2007 Mercedes-Benz GL 450 and the mechanic I used previously quoted me over $4K for repairs including things I did not need. My inner voice told me to get a second opinion. I found Bush Motor Works on Yelp, when searching for "European Auto Repair Shops" read a couple of their 5 star reviews and decided to give them a try. They were thorough in their diagnostic, honest, patient in explaining the issue, and completed my repair in record time! I highly recommend Bush Motor Works! read more

If you look at my history, you'll see I don't post much, but I have to give props to the crew at BMW. They've been straight shooters with me from day 1, almost 3 years ago, which is more than I can say about the people I purchased my car from. Shout out to Matt, who has been primarily servicing my car for the last year or so, and every time I get it back it drives like new, and it has 214k on on the odometer. Maybe I got a good one, but these guys help me keep it so it's running like new. After getting screwed by the dealership, and being new to the area, I didn't know who to turn to, but I'm glad I found BMW, Steve has been pretty cool and Brandy is awesome too. I would most definitely recommend. read more

I've had a couple repairs done here and I'll tell you the owner Steve is a very fair, ethical, works with a sense of integrity, honest, and really understands what the lifetime investment in a customer means versus a one-time transaction. The shop has great repair prices, especially compared to the dealership. They do good work but I've never had such a positive experience anywhere else like I've had with Bush Motor Works. This is a shop you do not have to worry about getting ripped-off or taken advantage of based on my dealings with them and Steve the owner. They take their time to explain issues and solutions. The are more worried about a good repair than making a quick buck. I highly recommend this shop based on my history with them. I was wowed and that isn't something that happens often. read more

Been going to bush motor works for the last 14 years to repair both of our BMWs.... And we will continue coming back as long as we own a BMW vehicle... they are always honest and very fair in pricing....a much better value than the dealership. Our 2011 328i just ran into mechanical problems. Had the car towed into bush motor works. Steve found the issue. It was a very quick fix. He gave us a great price.... We thought from what the tow truck driver said we would be looking at thousands of dollars on the repair..... nope great price and we are already back on the road and very happy with our service. Btw in our current issues with the pandemic, they care about your health and theirs..... thank you Bush motor works.... You rock!!! read more

I'm definitely more than a fan now. I won't be going anywhere else for my car needs. UPDATE: Brought my car back for a second time. Spoke to Steve, but worked mainly with Anthony. First time working with him and he's super nice. He knows we're all looking to cut costs, but he also believes in using good parts. Needless to say, I am very sure I saved a ton getting work done here, than at a dealership. This time, I had my front brakes done, which Steve and I discussed before when he replaced my rear brakes and changed my oil. I also got my right front passenger window fixed. It seemed like the motor was dying. It began moving slow and making noises. It actually got stuck just days before, and attempting to force it up by hand and pressing the button, did not work. And it made no noise when pushing on the button. Both Anthony and Steve were able to force it up so I didn't have to drive around with an open window all day. I brought my car in the next morning. Anthony saw me and called me by name. With all the customers they have, I know it's hard to remember everyone's name and face, but he did and that was pretty cool. To be honest, Concord BMW is literally walking distance from my work. They were quick to quote me a price for the part (which was insanely expensive), but would never get back to me on how long it would take, or how much labor would be. They stated that their labor rates varied on the type of work being done on a vehicle. And of course, they were quick to wanting me to set an appointment, but NEVER got back to me on a total price. Once again, my experience at Bush Motor Works has been awesome. I was treated like a person, and not just some customer they're getting money from. For someone who normally has her husband work on her vehicles, I feel very comfortable having this crew work on my car. I'll be back in a couple of months for a tune-up. read more

It is very hard to find a good BMW mechanic much less a great one and Bush Motor Works is among the great! My wife and I both have had BMWs for years. Since moving to the area a couple of years ago we found so okay shops, but always seems pricey and many didn't use OEM parts, which we always request. When I first brought my BMW to Steve he was a no nonsense guy. I wasn't sure but decided to trust him and his team. Sure enough he was able to get our vehicles repaired and at a great price. We've had a lot of work done since then and in fact my convertible has been in there recently with an electrical issue that was draining the battery. They identified the issue and put me back into my fun to drive 330ci convertible again! And my wife just started a new job this past Monday. I called Steve and they got her car in for an oil change and fluids check same day. All is good and we wouldn't take our BMWs anywhere else. Thanks Steve and the Team at Bush Motor Works!!! read more

Matt did an amazing job at communicating issues regarding my vehicle and how kept me in the loop for possible solutions he recommended to undergo.
