Mike fixed the suspension on my 2005 Toyota Corolla. This was a serious issue with control arm bushings where the wheel can come off. Mike does not charge for diagnostics. I spent $200 just on diagnostics at a very prominent Toyota mechanic in Concord before coming here. Besides diagnostics, his repair price for control arms and bushings is about $200 less than the mechanic I went to in Concord. But more than just prices, Mike really cares about helping you and fixing your problem. I told him this vague issue of hearing a metal scraping noise coming from my front wheel area. Mike got in my car and went on a drive with me just so he could personally hear it and understand. The problem did not show up on our drive, so the next day he drove it himself and heard the issue and diagnosed the problem. The other mechanic in Concord simply did not care about doing any of that. It's not that the other mechanic was bad; the other mechanic was skilled as well. The other mechanic just did not care to the same degree. The other mechanic in Concord had already told me about the suspension issue. They did good work but I was unhappy with their lack of transparency about what they were doing. They did not provide images of what the problems were and I ended up approving repair items over the phone, which led to me approving things that were unnecessary and that I would not have paid for had I seen a work order. That was not a problem with Mike, his shop takes photos of everything for your review and uploads them into Tekmetric. Items are graded green, yellow, or red and you approve what you see as necessary after talking with Mike. You sign with your signature. So it's just everything that makes going here better. Mike is a seasoned technician who was able to fix several issues with my Honda CR-V, including the valve cover gasket replacement, oil leak repair, filter replacement, oil change, and battery replacement, all within a few hours. Thanks to his work, I'm hopeful that my CR-V will now pass the smog test. One thing I noticed is that they seem a bit understaffed, so there may be some waiting time. I came in about 2 months ago for an A/C issue, I spoke with Mike and he was very friendly and professional. Dropped my car off had the diagnosis and repair complete. The A/C is working great again with no issues! But what also made it so great about Mike and his shop was not only the service and prices but the way he took care of my car, went above and beyond, I had a small clip that was missing from the hood latch making a little harder to open but not impossible. Mike noticed this and went ahead and replaced the clip at no charge, didn't even really mention it. I noticed it when I left the shop and stopped by the gas station to check my oil level and pump gas. Mike takes a lot of pride in his work and shop, I would recommend him 10 out of 10 read more

I am impressed! I brought my 2012 Mazda 6 here for a transmission fluid service. Javier has a lot of experience with Mazdas so he quoted me a premium German transmission fluid that works with my car (most generic fluids do not!). The result is my 14 year old car with 250,000 miles on it shifts the best it has in years. The shifts are fast and smooth. On top of the fluid service, these guys did the best inspection that I have had a shop do on my car in years. They had some accurate recommendations and provided tranparent pricing for the additional services. No hard sells or anything like that. They have snacks and water in the waiting area Needs improvement: 1. The shop charged me $193 for a $145 sensor part from the dealer. 2. The shop charges extra 2.5% for use of credit cards 3. Diagnostic fees was not credited to the repair fee. Javier, service advisor, did tell me this before hand. 4. The shop charged me 1.5 hrs labor for about 30 minute job.
