had an excellent experience at All Star Smog! The staff was professional, friendly, and made the entire smog check process quick and stress-free. They explained everything clearly, provided great customer service, and had me in and out in no time. It's hard to find a business that's both efficient and genuinely cares about its customers, but All Star Smog definitely does. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a smog check. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending them to my family and friends. Thank you for the outstanding service! read more

Terrible experience from start to finish. I was the only customer there, yet the smog test took nearly 20 minutes to complete. The technician (bald-headed guy) initially told me, "You passed." I paid, and he proceeded to prepare the paperwork. Then, almost immediately after I paid, he suddenly told me, "Actually, you didn't pass." I was completely confused and asked what happened. Instead of explaining the situation professionally, he had a smirky attitude and said, "Did you get it out of your system?" It came across as extremely dismissive and almost like he was trying to gaslight me. Whether my vehicle passed or failed is one thing, but the way this was handled was unprofessional and left a very bad impression. I expected a straightforward, professional experience not confusion and attitude after I had already paid!! I understand mistakes happen. But when you can't even get the most basic analysis of a smog check right, it tells me a lot about how accurate the rest of your service may be. If you can't correctly determine whether a vehicle passed or failed, that's a serious problem. And seriously, the tech needs to fix his condescending attitude. Being wrong is one thing, but being condescending while giving out incorrect information makes the experience even worse. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION!! Not even a mention of how long process can take. Not my first smog! I moved to the east bay from SF! Put some respect on it!! read more

This is the Best Smog shop I've ever been too in California! They are Fast, friendly, and have the best price in town! read more

If this place is close to you, it's a great deal. Ask for the Yelp pricing. It was $30 less than other competitors. I only found out by doing one of those Yelp quote requests (from various competitors, did it sheerly by accident trying to make an appointment at a prior place I went to). It's a no frills place. No appointments. Walk-ins only. We were lucky in that the person before us was just finishing up when we arrived so we didn't have to wait too long. The waiting area is a few fold-up chairs in a square concrete area that is quite sloped. read more

My first experience at this location was uncomfortable and unprofessional. During my initial smog check, a technician's told me that his friend from the shop (Eduardo) next door said I was "bonita" (pretty). I also noticed him repeatedly staring at me throughout my visit. As a woman, this made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I came in for a smog check, not comments about my appearance. However, I returned today for a recheck, and the technician who helped me was very kind, respectful, and professional. He made the experience comfortable and was extremely helpful. I appreciate today's technician, but my first experience was inappropriate and disappointing. No woman should feel uncomfortable while simply trying to get her car serviced. read more

Fast service and great communication. Best pricing for the area. Would definitely recommend!

Getting a smog was super easy over here! I was promptly greeted by the service technician Merlin. He answered all of my questions, quoted me a great price, and once I gave him the GO, he started the work and I was in and out of there in maybe less than a 1/2 hour! The shop is very clean and there's plenty of seats so waiting is easy. The PLUS is Jack in the Box is right next to it! So if you're an early bird like me- drop the car off, walk over there, and grab a quick breakfast with coffee so by the time you're done, you can go about your day. read more

I called a few smog places around Antioch after searching on Yelp when I decided on this shop. What stood out to me, was how friendly the woman on the phone was! Then when she told me the price I was impressed. On Yelp, there is a coupon for $30 off, but she mentioned there's a $40 off phone special, which is even better! I'm a baller on a budget right now so that got me real happy! It is first come first serve so I decided to go after 3 PM to check it out. When I got there, they just finished a car and I was next. How amazing was that? I walked into Chevrons and grabbed a water because it was pretty hot outside. There were two chairs, but no "waiting room". The gentleman who was doing the smogging, was very nice and said it wouldn't take too long and apologized for no "waiting room". I didn't mind at all. It was a small little shop, but looked pretty clean. I'm just impressed with the price, the customer service and the quickness! Y'all did a great job! I had to write this review once I got home. Thank you! read more

I inquired about a smog value quote ahead of time through Yelp and confirmed that walk-ins were ok! The attendant was friendly and confirmed that they were a STAR certified Smog Testing sight and by mere chance I had no one ahead of me and was seen right away. I saw that their waiting area is outside ahead of time thanks to other yelp photos, so be sure to bring a jacket! Honestly though the test was so fast that I didn't mind being outside. My go-to for future smog testing recommendations to others :) read more

I called ahead and received a call in special that made them about the same price as everyone else. There was no wait, which was nice since there's almost no parking and no indoor waiting area. Technician answered promptly and was very helpful. I definitely would recommend calling ahead to get the discount otherwise it's much more expensive. read more

Found this place on Yelp and gave them a call--was told I could come in right away. When I arrived, Merlin was just wrapping up with another customer, and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. Super quick and painless! The location is also really easy to find, right off Highway 4. I'll definitely be back next time I need a smog check. read more

I requested a price quote on Yelp. Cheryl the owner was the first to respond to me with a $48 flat rate. On a rainy Saturday morning, I took my vehicle which they open at 9am. I arrived a few minutes early and the place was already open. I was glad because most shops I've been to never open on time. Damien assisted with the smog check. I'm glad they had a few chairs to sit inside the shop instead of waiting outside. The process only took about 10 mins. Damien was very nice and professional with the smog check. I'm looking forward to come here again! read more

I was skeptical considering the location but the station was nice and the service at the smog station (separate business from the gas station) was great! Also the owner is Guamanian too so cool! It's first come first serve so I got there early. read more

Fast and easy smog check. Staff was friendly, professional, and got me in and out quickly. Highly recommend

Super quick and easy. Fast and reliable. I pulled up, got seated, paid, and left with my smog test certificate in 10-15 minutes.

I came here last week to get a smog, I called and spoke to Michelle. It was about 20 mins before they closed and I asked her if it was ok to still come in that I would be there in about 20 mins. She was super nice and said yes there was still time. I saw they also had a coupon online, used that when I got there and Sandy did the smog, she was super quick! Thankfully car is in still good condition and passed smog. I would definitely recommend All Star to get your car smogged! read more

I got my car smogged here twice. Last time it didn't pass and they noticed a hose was loose and cracked. I don't know a dang thing about cars so I was so grateful. It was a $4 part that I was able to switch out myself. They saved me probably hundreds of dollars by just caring enough to tell me. Thank you !! read more

I went in for a smog and walked about a customer that will return. The techs were up front and explained what needed to be done, did their job, and my truck failed! The techs explained that the computer codes had recently been cleared so the state won't even run the test. He explained I needed to drive at least 100 miles at both city and highway speeds while also not using the AC. (What?). I drove 200 miles, brought it back in, and it passed with no issues and there was even a different tech. Friendly folks, efficient, honest, and I will bring my other vehicles in for certification. Only when necessary. read more

I would recommended this place for fast and reliable service. Very responsive on yelp as well, easy to get and accurate quote.

Everything went great. I was greeted by a friendly smog tech (Merlin) who was able to take my truck right in and performed the inspection. Needed a smog done on my SUV. The value here is superior as I was able to use their current discount to get my smog done at $59 out the door. I found that most places charge a little extra with SUVs but that is pretty much standard for most places. The customer service here is amazing. Small place but not a big deal because the Merlin is an awesome guy that kept me entertained with his humorous but realistic conversation. He's a good guy that knows what he's doing and treats his customers right. This is my new go-to for smog. Was going to another guy for about a decade but will now go here for all future smog. read more
