Went here to get a smog for my car. The staff were super friendly and pointed out some minor things that I should check on. I was in and out within 20 minutes. They offer onsite dmv services too so if you need your tags asap they charge a fee but beats going to dmv or another place to get them. I had a great experience here. My truck is due this year for a smog inspection, and I have been to this location before, in previous years. They were very responsive, efficient and friendly. I dropped in at about 4pm, and there was no wait. The test and inspection was completed and the vehicle passed. The shop is clean, and there wasn't grease, trash, tools or loose paper on the floor. A good sign of a well run garage is a clean and organized work area, which this met that criteria. I did use the Yelp check in feature, and was able to use a discount coupon they're currently offering for check ins. If you need a vehicle smog inspection and certificate for registration, these guys can help you! Give them a try, I will definitely go back in the future for smog inspections. read more

Went in to get my car smog completed. I did call to confirm if there was a wait and the price and the you man assured me it would be about 15 minutes if no one was ahead of me. When I got there it was just as he said no one was there so they took me right away. They had a nice waiting room to keep clients out if the sun. DMV required smog for registration, came here because A1 required print out to use coupon. Pulled up and was greeted and quoted before parking. I was told to park right in front and within seconds my OBD II was hooked up and smog was going (mind you this is while they were working on 2 other cars already). 10 minutes later I paid $68 and I was on my way. 100% would come here again. Boy I sure hate having to deal with getting a smog for my car, until today!! I checked Yelp, then called several places around town, to check prices. I had spoken to Zayed earlier in the day and I had already received their coupon in the mail for $31.75 + $8.25 for the certificate, so my husband and I headed down around 4pm. Aaron was currently working on another smog when we arrived, which took about 10 minutes, then he came over and told us to pull into the shop. I was able to stay in the passenger seat while he worked on the smog, which was nice. Aaron was a very nice gentleman, which is so refreshing for a smog place. Called the shop around 5pm to see if there was a wait time. Employee who picked up was very friendly and kind and he let me know there was no wait time. As soon as we pulled up the same employee who answered the phone had us pull right up to the shop and started doing two cars at once! I would give this place negative reviews if possible. I'm convinced this guy fails cars on purpose so he can refuse the "free" retest. Took my vehicle here for smog, it fails, guy gives me a print out of the error code along with a list of hoses to replace. Took it back to my RELIABLE mechanic, states that was complete bull and that it could have passed. Moving forward, replaced all the hoses. Go back for a retest, this guy gets under the car with a flash light and inspects under the hood as if he's the top flight smog detective. Bro just smog the car, I didn't ask for your opinion on what else that needs to be replaced. He claims another hose was cracking. Gave him a piece of my mind, went somewhere else and passed smog with flying colors. Do yourself a favor and avoid this shop. I don't care if you got a coupon for a free smog. Don't go. read more

I spent a lot of time getting it working and getting it California legal but I was constantly worried about getting it smogged. I went to Smog Guys and they were very professional and understanding. I failed part of the visual and the functional test, but they provided good feedback and instruction on how to easily fix the problems.
