I was hoping to have utilized services from this location "based" on reviews that I read. But upon my arrival, I did not notice much activity at the location. So I proceeded to walk up to the door to only find out that the doors were locked., I viewed the business hours on the door, which reflected open. I then reached out to their "text" line nicely asking about their hours and was informed shortly after (with no greeting) that their machine was down for the day. And expected to be back up and running the following afternoon. So I had to take my business elsewhere. read more

If you have a class C RV this is the place to go to get your smog check. I spent a good chunk of my morning trying to find a place and when I called Shawn was very helpful and knowledgeable about RVs. It is recommended to call so you know what is the best time to come in since they get busy with walk ins. Shawn is very friendly and knows how to make sure each client is taken care of, will be bringing all my vehicles here. read more

I went there today and was SO impressed with this Smog biz. Only paid $55, Shawn (I think the owner) was professional, informational and kind. My smog was done within 20 minutes. I passed, YAY! I will definitely go back and tell everyone about this place. Especially since one smog biz in Oakley (which I stopped by twice) had zero customer service, borderline rude (I felt the guy didn't even want my business) and another smog company in Brentwood was charging $89 for a smog. Affordable! This was the first year my plugin hybrid needed a smog. I didn't even realize it until I went to pay my registration ‍ The owner is really nice & it's first come first serve. I did call ahead to ask busy times. If you go to their website PRINT the $5 coupon - he only gives the coupon if it's printed. The day I went his pos system was down so cash only. So I'd suggest making sure ahead of time. $45 - that's after my coupon. If you're going to Costco & are coming from Sommersville (Auto Center Dr) instead of turning left - pull straight into the parking lot. read more

I'm a little conflicted about the service I received from here. The actual process was quick and fine. But the first time I came here, they denied the coupon I found online because I didn't print it out. They even had a sign that said we needed to have a printed coupon. A few months later, the second time I came here, I printed out the coupon and presented it. He accepted and I just sat in the waiting area. There was another customer that was there before me and when it came to payment. The guy just provided a coupon code from his phone for the discount. Mind you, the guy is standing in front of the sign that states that coupons needed to be printed. The worker took that code from him but didn't want to accept it from me the first time I went there. I don't know, I'm a female and I just feel taken advantage of. Although the guy was nice, I don't think I'll come back here next time. When I first patronized this business the man doing my smog check said my car wasn't going to pass smog because there was a "crack" (scratch intentionally made with a tool) on my engine block. I explained to him that it wasn't a crack but a fresh scratch and he told me he was going to fail my test for this and other reasons. He suggested I call his friend who could get me a discount on service and help me with a rebate of some sort. I called his bluff refused the additional service and told him to fail me so I could go somewhere else. I returned to the waiting area and was told my car passed after all and the amount I needed to pay. Fast forward 2 years, I just got a smog check on the same car and passed without a single issue brought up by the technician. Only work done on the car in 2 years was 1 oil change. I recommend Express Smog Check on Railroad in Pittsburg. No wait, area dedicated to smog checks only in back of business and test took about 10 mins. read more
