Really great experience with Atanas. Needed my rear brake pads and rotors replaced, and he was able to knock it out at a competitive price. He even cleaned the calipers and gave me a few tips to break in the brakes to keep the rotors from warping, plus, this was all done without me having to leave the house, which is incredibly convenient. Next time I need something fixed or replaced, I'll be calling Atanas first! read more

Never responded at all to my question about a quote for work that he supposedly does.

Atanas was early, professional and paid great attention to detail. He didn't rush and made sure to do the job right! I really appreciate his service and recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable mechanic. He changed the brakes on both my cars (European) and pointed out some things I had no idea needed fixing. Price was very reasonable as well, Highly recommend! read more

After contact and no luck with several mobile mechanics in the Bay Area, 100/10 would recommend Atanas. He was very quick with his responses, provided consistent communication, more than fair pricing, honest, has over 30years of experience and very personable and knowledgeable. I needed an alternator replaced in a Ford Escape with over 190k miles, truly a pain in the butt to get any work done on this thing and always very expensive for the labor. Atanas reassured me that he was confident he could do the work, despite the hassle of the car. He gave me a more than fair price to do the work and did it fairly quickly. Hours less than I was quoted by several other mobile mechanics and shops. He gave me tips on finding a good part, was early on the day of service, took his time with the repair, explained any issues he was running into and let me know the plan the whole way through. Even let me know that one of the parts he was initially going to replace was still in great condition. There was a crazy car accident that happened next to us while he was working and he even stopped to help those people out. I can't say enough good things about him, and would trust him with this car until the end of it's life. read more

Atanas did a great job on my car! I supplied the parts and he installed them flawlessly. Came to my home at a set time. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He explains everything in detail. Will definitely be needing his services again. read more

Atanas replaced my rear brake pads. He communicated clearly, arrived on time for the appointment, and completed the work in less than an hour. I will definitely contact him again the next time I need a mechanic! read more

He came to my home and was early which was good. He explained things and was good. Reminded me a bit of my former mechanic who would come to my house to grab my dad's car and fix it. He was nice and seemed honest. He suggested a follow up and had pictures of my car, however, when I got back to him, I think he forgot who I was. I wanted him to work on my car, but didn't get a quote for the service. I think that he provided good value. He had to buy some stuff for my car and came back with the receipts. He also put some new lights, I've had them forever, in my car which was good as well. I'd use him again if he was available. read more

Had an issue where Honda accord cylinder was misfiring, Mr Bubbles diagnosed it as an ECM issue but turned out to be a mechanical issue with some parts that came loose and leaks in the cylinder. The mechanic who ended up fixing it said Mr Bubbles seemed to just guess what the issue was instead of fully confirming it. I give Mr Bubbles credit for coming on time and trying but it still cost me $250 for an inaccurate diagnosis. Can't say I recommend or not, I support local businesses but I didn't get what I paid for using this service. read more

It's my first review in over 5 years. Good opportunity to come out of hibernation. My brakes started squeaking and that's annoying. No way I was changing my own brakes. I can't even change a light bulb. Bringing it in to the shop was on my to do list. Mobile mechanic? Sold. Atanas was quick to respond, communicated expectations and delivered. Price was fair and I'm excited to have a guy that is reliable and I can trust. I already have other projects lined up for him. read more

Mr Bubbles is an amazing and honest mechanic. We needed our serpentine belt replaced and he made time for us even on such short notice. Not to mention it was outdoors and partially raining where my car was parked right next to another car in a tight spot and couldn't be moved. Despite all those obstacles, he managed to replace it quickly. After the work was done, he made sure to stay while he had me test drive the car just to be sure it is good to go. Honest and highly experienced mechanics are hard to find these days, but thank God for Mr Bubbles! We trust him and will be going to him when we need work done on our vehicles. Thank you again Mr Bubbles!! read more

Atanas is hands down my new guy. He was quick to respond with a quote and to set-up a time to come over and work on my car, which was only a couple days after our initial contact. I was really worried on the day we scheduled because it was driving rain, basically out of nowhere. He showed up on time with a rain jacket and an easy-up. I was also worried about him being able to get to everything in one day because I had a laundry list of things I was asking of him. Not only did he, but while he was under the hood he noticed a broken part (something I had definitely felt while driving) and gave me a quote to fix it right there. I drove my roommates car to auto zone to get the new part and he had the old part out by the time I got back. I can't say enough good words about him. He gave me the lowest quote by far, he came to me, and he finished the job very quickly. Definitely contact him for service. Thanks again for all your help! read more

Atanas has come to my home for two different cars. both times he's come with all the new parts and ready to do the job. his pricing is much better than A Dealer. or an independent shop. he does not mark up the prices on parts. I totally trust him with my MERCEDES S560 and other expensive cars. Great service! Great prices, Great guy. read more

Adonis was amazing. Met me at the last minute and fixed the old ripped center console in my car quickly. I thought for sure a mobile service would be expensive, but it was very reasonable. The best part was just knowing I could get that fixed in my car so quickly on a Saturday. And Adonis is a great guy... super helpful and friendly! Will definitely call him up for any other repairs. read more

On Sunday morning, my car wouldn't start and I needed to be at work on Monday. I called numerous shops and mobile mechanics and either they were closed, their estimate was very high, they didn't have the parts available, or they didn't have any appointments available. Then I found Mr. Bubbles Mobile mechanic and thankfully Atanas was able to squeeze me into his schedule especially on such short notice and he had access to the parts needed. His estimate provided to replace the starter was very competitive as well. Atanas is highly experienced, arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the starter in my car. Did I mention that it was also pouring rain while he was working? I would highly recommend Atanas for any Mobile car repairs needed! read more

I contacted Mr. Bubles to diagnose a problem with my wife's 2009 Dodge Journey. We had a clear understanding of the issue and the estimated repair costs. Mr. Bubles accurately identified the problem and thoughtfully informed us that the transmission plug under the transmission might not be the only issue. He also mentioned that my starter was beginning to fail. He fixed the transmission problem , and within a day, the starter failed. His service and cost came in below my initial estimate for both issues, and I even tipped him. I don't know anyone who tips their mechanic ‍‍ lol. This was last week when he repaired my wife's car. He has also repaired my daughter's Mazda (water pump & pins) and is now working on my sister-in-law's vehicle, where the head gaskets were leaking. Great Service and fair prices. I recently had a car battery issue that AAA could not handle. The negative terminal was extremely corroded on a vehicle that is tough to access. Because AAA could not get the battery removed to replace it, I was left with a vehicle dead in front of my house. I have never used a mobile mechanic before, but I took some time and found Mr. Bubbles Mobile Mechanic. I placed a service request/quote on-line via Yelp, and the owner, Atanas, replied within a couple of hours. He was able to come out the next day, and of course, was able to fix the problem (full disclosure, he did say he'd never seen a battery more corroded!). I was impressed with Atanas' communication, timeliness, and personality. His prices are very reasonable too! I have already referred him to a friend for a used car inspection and she was extremely pleased! I will not hesitate to use Mr. Bubbles Mobile Mechanic in the future, and refer to anyone needing an excellent mechanic. read more
