Been using them for years! Another great service from start to finish as always. Ivette is always prompt with replying and getting me scheduled. Working with me even though I should I probably call instead of messaging through yelp lol. She makes it all seemless for me. Casey is still the man! Brakes and rotors replaced in no time. Communication, professionalism, always on point. Never any issues. Always appreciate you guys, thank you again! Definitely recommend!!!! read more

Casey is an honest, hardworking pro thoroughly versed in remote power door locks as well as brakes. This gentleman deserves your business. Tell your friends, coworkers, neighbors. Either we support painstaking, experienced specialists like Casey, or we're left with indifferent chains and pricey dealership service departments who offer less savvy at higher price for glad-handing and a luxe waiting room. Be smart. Casey is. read more

Star Mobile Brakes - Thanks to Casey, remote door locks work. - Auto Repair Near Me

Took a look at my car and found the brakes could wait. I appreciate the honesty and not upselling services not required.

Great shop! Excellent workmanship and fair prices! If you have a VW/Audi out of warranty, I recommend coming here.

Once again the team at Star Mobile did a great job, clearly walked me through the work of the repair and saved me money. Thanks Casey and team! read more

KC responded within an hour of calling. Super friendly and professional. He was able to cut the key blade and program the fob I bought on Amazon. read more

We used Star Mobile Brakes again. We got great service and great pricing again. The repairs were made right in our driveway and they gave us honest feedback on our rear brakes, not trying to sell us on something. You will not be disappointed with Star Mobile Brakes! read more

Every time I have a problem, this guy is my go to, never disappoints and has the best pricing out of all the other mechanics. Excellent service and great communication nevertheless. read more

Was stranded in SF around 8 pm on Sunday, June 25. Car no crank no start no windows operation AAA towed the car to Walnut Creek home garage. Went to WC MBZ dealer and said need to replace ESL...(a ton of paperwork) and got a quote with parts labor key programming (time frame around a week or so)$2400/$2900???!!! Hmm..decided to check out another place that can handle that type of work- "NICK"S Mercedes" is pretty much close to that estimate. I was lucky talking to some car shops who pointed me out to Starmobile Brakes because they have a shop close to my residence....you can't believe it... Ivette sent a tech guy to my garage(saved my time and $$$ for tow) with appropriate electronic tools/equipment and the car was fixed the next day It was quite a time-consuming process but saved me around $1500.00 I am still in disbelief. Thank you Ivette and KC read more

From response time to schedule my appointment to the maintenance, I can't say enough good things. Both Ivette & Casey are amazing! Casey explained everything very thoroughly and it's very well priced. I needed all brakes and rotors replaced and it was done in 1 1/2 hours. So glad I found Star Mobile- will be coming back :) read more

Ask for KC. You will talk to Ivette who seems to be the boss. She is an excellent communicator and KC is as well. Star is lucky to have a team like that as that industry is known for screw ups. Probably the most important point is that you avoiding outrageous dealer pricing for this work with never leaving your house. Is that even possible? Yes. Besides the cost benefit, the time saved is unreal. It takes about the same time to have the rotors replaced at home than it does just to check in at the dealer, not to mention drive time and the time to complete the work there. Last time I needed brakes I used Brake Busters which was also a five star experience but they ditched their mobile service. Seems like a no brainer to offer mobile service or cut the overhead and be entirely mobile service based but what do I know? read more

Star Mobile Brakes - Fresh rotors. Car now stops again. - Auto Repair Near Me

If I could give more than 5 star service I would. Ivette was quick to respond on my quote online and set up mobile service the same day. She was exceptional! The Mechanic KC arrived on time with the parts; he changed my front rotors and brake pads in less than 1 hr. He was friendly, asked if he can check any concern I have with my car such as brake oil etc. He tightened even my rear wheels as a courtesy. He provided top notch customer service. I highly recommended their mobile service. read more

My first and second experiences with Star Mobile Brakes were so good I'm returning again tomorrow for a third time! It's not easy to find a shop you can trust, but Ivette and KC made it easy to trust Star Mobile Brakes. My favs: 1: Ivette is a patient, responsive professional who keeps it all together 2: KC is quick, knowledgeable, and friendly 3: They treat me like a valued customer, even when I have to reschedule a bunch of times 4: THE WORK IS TOP NOTCH Thank you, Star Mobile! read more

Save your money and do not use this business. I just had the worst experience. The lady on the phone was professional and explained everything in detail. I needed new back brakes and resurfacing of rotors. She explained they do not resurface rotors and I'd have to buy new ones if the mechanic thought I needed new ones. So she gave me a price of about $570 for back brakes and new rotors. I opted for the mobile service and this is where it got ugly. The mechanic came to the house and as he was walking to my car he immediately said I needed new rotors (without touching them first). So then he brought out one new set of brakes and rotors out to show me. He placed them on the ground. He asked for the locking lug nut for my tires and he and I couldn't find them anywhere. He said for him to use his own tool and break them off would be an additional $100. Now I'm at $670! I thought it was too much. I told him I was going to wait or see if I could find the part. He then became outraged and told me how it cost him $40 in gas to get from concord to pleasanton. He also said that I owed him some sort of monetary compensation for his trouble. I told him I didn't sign an agreement of any sort and I would not be paying him. He asked me for money again and I said no. He then got in his car and stormed out of my neighborhood...leaving the brand new rotor and brakes in my driveway! I then put it in my garage in case he came back. Sure enough he comes back 10min later and nicely asks for it. I gladly gave it back to him. Today, I went to Big O in pleasanton and experienced exceptional customer service. They also said I did not need new rotors and my price out the door for my new brakes was $289! This mechanic working for this company is a total crook!!! read more

Fast service and quality work. I took my car to the dealership for an oil change, general inspection and tire rotation. The dealership tried to upsell saying that I needed new brakes and rotors on all four tires to the tune of over $1300 for the work. Star Mobile came to my house the next day and let me know ow it was only the front brakes and rotors that needed repair and the back brakes and rotors still had another 15-20K miles left before needing replacement. Needless to say, I will always trust Star Mobile brakes as they didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. Honesty goes a long way. read more

Great service! Outstanding work and highly recommend you that if you need any brake work to get your work done here! I wish I could give 10 stars! read more

Wow. I can't believe how fast, cost efficient, honest and friendly this auto service is. They responded to my online query so promptly and politely, and actually told me what I needed to know (re: cost estimates, etc.) I needed new pads and rotors and was blown away by how much the mechanic went above and beyond what I was expecting or even hoping for. Definitely going back for any automotive repairs - highly recommended! read more

This is the best service ever! Casey was in time, efficient, trustworthy and my sweet car is rolling as quiet as a mouse. I sent Ivette a message over yelp asking if my vehicle could be serviced in Antioch. She got back to me immediately and over the course of multiple messages, both on Yelp and by cell. Ivette let me know how much it would be for brakes alone and for brakes and otters; parts and service included. We communicated over a holiday weekend and scheduled my service for the actual holiday, Labor Day at 3pm. KC would meet me at my home for an inspection and repair. KC arrived a little early and immediately got to work. He was done much sooner that I expected and was much more informative than any tech at a shop has ever been. It was nice doing business with you both. read more

Star Mobile is AWESOME, Ivette doing the estimating and scheduling was so responsive and helpful. Cheaper than taking to a shop I got several quotes. Casey, all I can say he's an Incredible mechanic and has a great personality. Im a nosey guy and he was happy to answer all my questions while he's working! Great car service. KC did both my front and rear brakes and even changed the rotors. From the time I contacted them Star Mobile was professional and asked for my car information and were able to give me a quote immediately. I was super impressed with their level of expertise as most places couldn't give me the price without me dropping off the car. My car was done in less than an hour each time and they met me right after work so I never had to take time off work . I highly recommend them for all your car needs. I have a German luxury car so this is my go to place for now. read more

I went through several mechanics including some real rip-off artists before I found Star. I have used them multiple times in the past 3 years for my work vans. Ivette is very responsive & always ready to help. KC, our mechanic, is PHENOMENAL. He is always 100% honest, efficient & on time which is so important for a small business owner like myself. He has done brake jobs, regular maintenance & other repairs, including diagnosing any error codes, on my work vans. Prices are more than fair. I highly recommend them. Ask for KC! read more

Awesome! I can't say enough about how impressed I am with Star Mobile. Casey arrived on the dot, as scheduled. He was very nice and courteous. I can't believe how quickly and efficiently he finished my front brakes. I've always gone to auto repair shops, which are fine, but it generally takes longer, and it's a hassle. Having them come to you is just so convenient. Thank you so much!! read more

This was an excellent experience. KC was quick and efficient. He came thinking he would be doing just one set of pads, and ended up doing 2 rotors and 4 pads on one car and another set of pads and rotors on another. I found them on yelp and contacted them around 11, they responded immediately, and they were able to fit me into their schedule around 2, (someone cancelled and KC called). He was outside on a Sunday afternoon in the heat and didn't complain or let that affect the quality of his work. Thank you for helping me out, I am greatly appreciative, we will definitely be using your service again! read more

This place is amazing I had the best customer service from the quote I requested to go the phone call and how I got treated by the technician KC. Usually technicians are jerks and A Holes. But not here. They make you feel as if you're at home. As I mentioned when I arrived I was greeted by KC and he got the car in immediately to work on it. The work they did here is amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I don't live in the concord area, I'm 45 min away but it's way worth the drive. I have definitely found my next go to shop. read more
