Been coming to Justin's for over 10 years now, love this little shop as they offer quick oil changes and really good service. It's inside a small gas station but they offer the best service. Recommend this place to anybody in Walnut Creek/ concord area.

Today I came in without an appointment to have one tire replaced on my car under warranty. It's a work day and I drove in from Oakland so I didn't have loads of time to lose. They were clear when I dropped the car off that, because I'm a walk-in, I'd have to wait 2.5-hrs. More than I wanted to wait but I get it and I agreed to come back in that time. They also have a link that tells you when the car should be done which is also cool. I used that while I was out to sort out when I should head back to grab my car. The app at that link confirmed my car was going to be ready at the same time they told me earlier so I came back to pick it up. Once I arrived, I could tell the car hadn't been touched. They then explained they'd need the car for another 1.5-hrs. Completely ridiculous and a big downer for someone who had always been a loyal customer. I might change this rating someday but hoping this acts as a warning for others who attempt to walk-in to get their car serviced here. You can't rely on their estimated time nor can you rely on the technology they use to keep customers updated on when cars will be finished. Here's hoping they fix their workflow and fancy systems they use to "help" loyal customers.

Big O Tires, Walnut Creek…read more 5/5 Stars A BREAKDOWN, A $900 ESTIMATE, AND A TEAM THAT RESTORED MORE THAN OUR CAR! You know what's worse than an unexpected car breakdown? AN UNEXPECTED CAR BREAKDOWN ON A SUNDAY! SIGH... Well, we now know exactly what it looks, sounds, and feels like when a starter decides to retire without giving two weeks' notice! And let me tell you, you'd be surprised how one little part can affect so many other things. We even had a charger that hadn't worked since we purchased the car, and wouldn't you know it, after the starter was replaced, that charger started working too! But let me tell you how we got there. Our car completely shut off, and despite multiple attempts, we couldn't get it jumped. Thankfully, some wonderful human beings stopped to help two damsels in distress. After exhausting our options, and with some guidance from the amazing folks at our neighborhood O'Reilly Auto Parts (they'll be getting their own review!), we learned that Big O Tires in Walnut Creek was open on Sundays. OPEN ON SUNDAYS! Already a point in their favor! We walked over and met Getty. WHAT A WONDERFUL HUMAN BEING! We explained everything that had happened, including the symptoms we'd experienced and what the people who stopped to help had suggested. Getty listened, was straightforward with us, and explained that it sounded like the starter might be the culprit. Then came the estimate. $900! INSERT SHOCKED FACE RIGHT HERE! Now, nobody wants to hear that number when their car has unexpectedly decided to stop participating in life. But what I appreciated was Getty's honesty. He didn't sugarcoat the potential cost or make promises he couldn't keep. He told us that if we could get the car towed to the shop, his team could take care of it that same day. So we did! The car arrived around 11 a.m. AND BY 2 P.M., WE WERE DRIVING AWAY! But wait, there's more! THE FINAL BILL WAS $100 LESS THAN THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE! Not a hundred dollars MORE. A HUNDRED DOLLARS LESS! No price gouging. No unexpected charges. No attempts to sell us services we hadn't requested. Just honest communication, efficient repairs, and excellent customer service. AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE FACT THAT A WOMAN COMPLETED OUR REPAIR?! YES, MA'AM! I absolutely loved seeing a woman working in the shop and getting our car back on the road. She deserves recognition right alongside Getty and the rest of the team! HERE'S WHAT REALLY MATTERS TO ME. When your vehicle breaks down unexpectedly, especially on a Sunday, you're already stressed. You're trying to figure out what's wrong, how much it's going to cost, how you're going to get the vehicle to a shop, and whether someone can even fix it that day. The last thing you need is to feel taken advantage of. Getty and his team gave us the exact opposite experience. They treated us with honesty, compassion, professionalism, and respect. And THAT is how you earn customer loyalty. I've used Big O Tires in the past, but after this experience, the Walnut Creek location has officially earned its place as my first stop whenever we need automotive repairs. LET'S TALK ABOUT WHAT THEY GOT RIGHT! Customer Service: 5/5 Honesty and Transparency: 5/5 Compassion: 5/5 Repair Turnaround: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Sunday Availability: PRICELESS! OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 5/5 The combination of honest pricing, compassionate service, quick repairs, and Sunday availability is a recipe for creating a lifelong customer. So, if those are qualities you value when choosing where to take your vehicle, look no further than Big O Tires in Walnut Creek. AND TELL THEM WE SENT YA! Here's hoping you won't need automotive repairs anytime soon. But if you do, stop in and speak with Getty. HE'LL GET YA STRAIGHT! To Getty, the woman who completed our repair, and the entire team: THANK YOU FOR TURNING A STRESSFUL SUNDAY INTO A REMINDER THAT GOOD, HONEST PEOPLE STILL EXIST AND TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WORK! You didn't just get our car running again. You earned our trust. And that is worth far more than a five-star review!

This time I talked with Cody who said that I actually needed the tire balanced. (I didn't really understand if I needed all tires balanced or fewer than all four, but I didn't really care because I knew I wanted them all balanced.) I came back a few days later to get the tires balanced. Cody helped me again. The lobby was very busy and he was the only person working but he did a good job helping everyone as quickly as possible. I chose to have all 4 tires balanced at a cost of $25 each. I left the car and it was ready within a few hours as promised. No additional costs or issues. My car now drives super smooth! Although I see that there are a lot of negative reviews, my experience has been very different. After two experiences with this Big O Tire store I'm very happy with the customer service and the work performed. I would definitely recommend them.

I have been doing "car stuff" for most of my life and usually do all my own work, even down to timing belts and chains. But I don't own a tire machine so I usually end up at Wheel Works, America's Tire, or Big-O. All leave me dissapointed most of the time. I care about the quality of work and the value recieved, hugely. Getting the little things right really, really matters to me. I wanted to get away from bigbox USA and try a local shop out, so off to A1 I went for a tire rebalance. A1 had to give me bad news that three of my wheels were bent but they balanced them the best they could. I was very disappointed in the news but so it goes, it's not their fault. Funny enough, every other shop said the wheels were fine and I didn't hit anything new. I digress. . . So, I gave them a shot on balancing my racetrack wheels (with track oriented rubber). The three times prior, balanced at big box stores, things vibrated. I was told that it was because they were performance tiers. A1 balanced these things, said they were straight, and sent me on my way. Imagine my surprise when my car rolled along smooth as silk. Felt like an entirely different vehicle. Things were exactly as they said and work was done right the first time. On such as simple and common thing, where three other shops faltered, after multiple attempts... A1 GOT IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! I'm stingy and particular. Yet, they earned my business.

I spoke with a person less than 5 mins walking in. He checked out my vehicle and told me that it would be taken care of within 45 mins. I had 3 ppl on front of me. I would suggest you go very early when they open at 8 am if you do not have an appt. They took care of my tire.

I'm updating my previous 5-star review based on my most recent experience…read more I purchased four new tires for my truck, and what should have been a simple installation turned into eight trips back to the Concord store. During the original installation, two of my TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) sensors were damaged. On my second visit, they replaced the sensors, but they still didn't report tire pressure. On my third visit, I was told everything was working and that I just needed to drive the truck until the sensors synchronized with the vehicle. After driving all weekend with no change, I returned for a fourth visit, where the sensors were reset, but I was told there was nothing more they could do. On my fifth visit, I explained that I was ready to take my truck to Toyota to have the issue fixed and wanted to know if they would cover the cost. Instead, they asked me to give them one more chance. I came back the next day for my sixth visit, and after calling their technical support line, the technician finally discovered the real problem--they had installed the wrong TPMS sensors. Because they were too busy to fix it that day, I had to return yet again. On my seventh visit, after waiting over an hour before my truck was even taken into the shop, the correct sensors were finally installed and everything worked as it should have from the beginning. When I got home, I realized one of my hubcaps was missing. Fortunately, they had it, but that meant an eighth trip back to the store. The biggest disappointment wasn't that mistakes were made--mistakes happen. It was that no one in management took ownership of the problem. By the third visit, the store manager should have stepped in to ensure the issue was resolved instead of having me make repeated trips. To make matters worse, I overheard the manager referring to me as "the guy who keeps complaining about his tire sensors." After eight trips to correct problems that began during their installation, I don't think my frustration was unreasonable. The one employee who deserves recognition is Rene. He took the time to investigate the issue instead of making another guess, and he ultimately discovered that the wrong sensors had been installed. Thank you, Rene, for doing what should have been done much earlier. Unfortunately, this experience erased the confidence I had from my previous visit. I can no longer recommend the Concord store and will be taking my business elsewhere. I am giving 2 stars because of Rene without his help this was a zero start experience.
