I had a flat tired on the way to work. They were prompt, had my tire in stock and had availability. I showed up and they were super attentive and seemed to be waiting for me. They were courteous and fast! FAST! It made a difference with me still having to go into work. So it was really appreciated. They have a decent stock of new tires for a super reasonable price! Mind you this is Lafayette but I paid $95 for a new tire in my size. I hopefully won't need to be back but will def remember and recommend even. read more

I had 3 pretty significant issues with these guys which I will also list below that have to do with pricing mistakes, lying about damaging my brand new wheels, and poor work quality. I want to preface this review by saying they are some hard working guys at this shop and don't seem like bad people, they just seem too overwhelmed to do quality work. Although my experience was negative you might have a better one than mine. 1. Pricing Mistake I called Ali THREE SEPARATE TIMES to confirm the price of my tires which was he said was 1250. I drove an hour and 30 minutes for these and the guy is trying to tell me 1600 while they already got 2 wheels mounted, so naturally I feel like he's trying to play me. After some back and forth we met at 1450 and I can tell he just made a mistake and wasn't just trying to take my money which is fine because he compensated me with some other services. But still, it was extremely frustrating having to debate this. 2. Chipped my brand new wheel, then tried to lie about it They called me over into the shop to show me my chipped wheel, claiming it came like that. This is completely untrue because method wheels come plastic wrapped with extra protection over them and have a major reputation for quality. I can tell they were lying cause both plastic protectors were removed at the time they called me into the shop to see. I didn't feel like arguing because for one I just didn't have the energy and two it was on the bead-lock which will most likely see worse chips with off roading. It was also a pretty minor chip, you really need to look for it to see it. My biggest issue is that they clearly were lying about it instead of just taking accountability. I will admit I don't have any definitive proof of them chipping the wheel so this could be there could be a 1% chance they're telling the truth, but I highly doubt it given the circumstances. 3. The weights used to balance my tires FELL OFF.... Don't need to go much further here, that's ridiculous man come on. I wish the best for these hard working guys and when you get cheap work done you can't expect 5 star quality, but these are some pretty major issues that they tried to just play off like nothing was wrong. Last this one is pretty minor but still frustrating, first thing when one of the shop guys pulls out my wheels from the box he drops my center cap on the floor, scratching it and chipping the paint. read more

I spoke with them twice on the phone to make sure they had the brand and size I wanted but when I drove 35 miles to the shop they tried to sell me another brand since they did not carry the brand I asked about after all. I had purchased a set of wheels and tires for my truck. They quoted me one thing but a couple days later when I had them install it, the final price was a couple hundred more. Even though I asked "is that the out the door price?" I was also told that wheel locks were going to be included by one person and the other person said they didn't have any. I was already annoyed by the price, but to be told different information, it gets overwhelming. Fast forward to some months after. I needed to get my wheels rebalanced and rotated because of a weird shake in my steering wheel. They wanted to charge me $100 for them to do that. They only offer "free rotations". FINE. I ended up taking my truck somewhere else. Still paid for it, but at that point I really didn't want to support this business anymore. Fast forward again to current day. I pulled up, and there was only one car there. I mentioned that I needed my tires rotated. Just rotation. The guy behind the counter said they only offer free rotations from Monday through Thursday because it's too busy on the weekends. But they'll do it this time. (Like they're doing me a favor) There was only one car there that had left soon after I got there! Not everyone has the luxury to take their cars to places to get maintenance done during the week. 1 star for the package deal as it still came out cheaper than other places I've been to. Came when I got flat driving nearby. They were fantastic! They were able to take me immediately and replaced the tire in maybe 30 min total. Price was well below what anyone else quoted me. Found out later I had a leak in the another tire and they were again able to take my car and find the leak super fast. DO NOT go to Tires Direct in Lafayette. Got a simple 4 tire change. Same day i realized there was a loud squeaking coming from my front rims and a rattling. Thanks to my brother who's a mechanic we diagnosed that Tires Direct left out 2 out of my 5 lug nuts on the front left rim AND didn't even fully tighten/torque one of those 3 lug nuts. Also the back rims are missing 1 lug nut on the drivers side. That's a total of 3 missing lug nuts they DIDN'T put back on my car. This is how people end up dying in car accidents. How do you run a business that solely deals with tires and can't even successfully replace 4 tires. read more

I recently purchased tires a set of 4 new tires. On October 4th 2025. And the problem I'm having now is the truck. Pulls to the right or drifts to the right as soon as you take your hand off the steering wheel. I brought it back. They rotated the front tires from left to right. The truck then started to pull left. So I brought it back again and they put the front tires in the back. Now, it's back drifting, right? They're telling me to bring it in today. Which is Monday and their alignment guy will make the necessary adjustments to correct this issue. But the technicians they had there on, took it back, said the alignment was fine. When I read online, it says this is a classic symptom of bad tire. Or tires, this is not an alignment problem.So I will update this post after today.Going back. Ali told me today his alignment specialist will be there. I was also told this was happening because I have new parts on my front suspension, which I do.And this work was done before they installed their tires.I even told ali not to do the alignment.I was trying to get an eighty dollar discount off the tires.Because I told him I didn't want or need an alignment.My truck never pulled before.They changed the tires. Our tire pressure started dropping quickly when we were on the freeway right by Lafayette. I yelped tire repair and found this place. I called and they said they were closing soon but if we could get there in the next 15 min, they would stay open!! They quickly accessed the problem and patched the tire for approx $30. We were far from home and let us get to our destination and back, approx 120 miles. The patch held until the next day. We are so thankful they stayed open for us and we're so efficient and courteous. I'm not often in the East bay, but would highly recommend them to locals . Their prices were very good. read more

First experience there this morning. Had to replace 4 tires on a 2007 Prius. Just need to keep it rolling a year or two till will get over these crazy Covid Car prices. Got a generic brand for $330 including alignment otd. Says they are rated for 40,000 miles and if I can reach that will be more than happy. Went in on a Saturday morning and Spoke to Ali who actually remembered speaking with me on the phone during the week. I got there like 5 minutes before opening and they were about ten minutes late waiting for the one guy who had the key. After they open there's probably another 10-15 minutes wasted because they have to empty the garage bays because they are filled with tires. All in all it's about 1.5 hours wait which isn't horrible. I'm praying that I get "more" than what I paid for out of these tires because they are a steal. They are somewhat cash only. I'll update this review accordingly but I'm a happy camper for now. read more

Another 5 star experience!!! The owners helped me out again. I ordered the wrong tires by mistake for our Honda pilot and they helped me out getting a new set of shoes that were the right ones at a very reasonable price. I will be returning with all my vehicles (we run a handyman company so have a fleet with multiple trucks and vans running) by far the most affordable tires in the Bay Area. I'd recommend the dcenti brand for any trucks, vans or SUV. They're quiet, comfortable and have good traction & tread wear ratings. With tire prices from other shops pushing $1600-2000 these guys were a huge relief coming in at about 1/3 the price of all the other companies even after the mount and balance. I called because I found a nail in my tire. They told me to come straight in. I arrived and was directed to a open space by an attending employee. He went to straight to the tire with the trouble, removed the nail, patched the hole and got me to the cashier all in under 10 minutes time. Great service, accuracy and speed.
