The tire they sold me for a midsize sedan blew and left me on the side of the road about 20 days after purchase. When I went back to get a new tire under the 30 day guarantee, the staff were unfriendly. They said the only tire available was a very low quality tire that was about $80 retail new, and it has about 60% tread. Really inferior to the tire I bought originally, which was defective. Now the cheap replacement warranty tire is out of round after only another 1000 miles. Both times the staff filled the tires they worked on to 20psi instead of the factory required 29psi. This could kind of carelessness could kill people. You should find another place for tires. read more

I went in to purchase two front tires. The guy that assisted showed me two new Pirelli tires. He told me these were the only Pirelli tires he had in stock. I agreed to purchase the tires and paid for them. He stated they would install them and I could wait in the back. I decided to walk to the store while the tires were being installed. When I returned two different very worn Pirelli tires had been installed on my vehicle. I immediately went in and spoke with the guy that originally sold me the Pirelli tires (the newer ones) about this apparent bait and switch. He shocked, that I actually looked at the tires before leaving said the two tires I purchased both had something wrong with them (not likely) therefore he had to find some other tires to put on my vehicle. Lies!! The tires were obviously taken off of someone else's vehicle and placed on mine. He assured me that he would find two new tires for my vehicle and asked me to come back the next week. Long story short he NEVER honored his promise. Every time I called or went into the store he gave me the run around. SHM. Who would do this to one of their customers???? RT Tires that's who! Not sure what's going on at RT but we buy all our tires for our fleet there - 3 work vans, 4 trucks and 1 car. Driving to Roseville Tuesday and tire light came on. Checked tires in Cordelia and put air in all 4 tires and light turned off. Wednesday driving to office and light came on. Pulled into work parking lot and tire was flat. Had a nail in the left rear. Husband took car in they said they could not patch it even though nail was in the dead center of the tire. Sold him a tire. It looked good until 3 days later the tire light came on again. Was able to make it the 76 on Lake Herman and started to air up all 4 tires because it's hard to tell with low profile tires which one is bad. 3/4 tires were at correct pressure but not the one they sold him. As I was putting the air on the valve stem I noticed the bad patch job. Called RT they couldn't help me. Tire was not holding air. Told me to put on spare. Car packed with work gear and camping gear no way that was going to happen plus I had the dog. After trying to get the tire back up to 30 psi which took awhile I was able to drive the car home to drop off the dog and then over to RT. Walked in. They knew who I was from the call. A worker said he looked for the tire they took from us on Wednesday but it had been sold...ummm thought it wasn't repairable! Based on a comment I made about a crappy week the guy up front said they would put on a brand new tire at no charge. Initially I think he was going to not charge me for the tire but I'd have to pay for the install. They take the car around the back and come back about 10 minutes later. Hand me the key. As I'm walking to the car I noticed the gouge in the front left! That was absolutely not there prior. From putting air in all 4 tires Tuesday. To working on Friday at a customers new car wash and looking at how the tire dressing was applying on all 4 tires and putting air in all 4 tires about 45-60 minutes prior to going back to RT I can say with 100% confidence that gouge was not there. Unfortunately I can't prove anything and I definitely wasn't going to confront anyone there. It was already uncomfortable and I was by myself. I don't think it was the upfront store (rt) but if I had to guess it was the guy in back (McGinn) separate company who does the installs and he was upset he had to do it for free. That's my best guess. Now I have to replace the left front due to the sidewall gouge. Totally disappointed in what transpired. Not sure what's changed but maybe business is slow and they're cutting corners. I don't know but definitely not going back with any of our vehicles anymore. read more

I wanted to give a shout out to RT Tire in Pacheco! RT Tire is a used tire warehouse that I have been going to for the past 10 years or so! I have referred many people to this business and will continue to do so. I helped my Nephew, Andrew pick out a set of four used tires for his Hyundai Santa Fe Sport which cost him $360 out the door! It only took them an hour and 20 minutes to mount his four new tires and for them to rotate my tires on a prepaid card that I bought years ago and I'm still using. Super knowledgeable and friendly staff with killer deals on slightly used tires that typically last me 3 to 4 years! Sam was great as are all of their employees that I have had the pleasure of dealing with in the past! read more

I usually don't like doing reviews anymore, especially too early in the service because sometimes you're not overall satisfied after you do a review but I have to do a review on this tire place because I am so excited about the deal I got I've been literally calling my friends and family telling them about this new tire place I found. I called around and got quoted different amounts between $900 and $1200 to replace my tires on my Q5 and I got a set of barely used tires with a warranty for about $500 bucks. It's the best deal I could've came across all year. Thank you RT tires. They got me in and out of there so quickly. and for those who say don't buy used tires, you've gotta go over there and check them out for yourself. I got a set of Toyo Open Country a very quality tire!! I will be back... It feels almost illegal posting this review because I got such a good deal. I don't want to tell everybody because I don't want the prices to go up when I have to go back in three or four years and get a new set of tires. read more

I bought four brand-new tires from R T Tires, and while the initial purchase process was smooth, my experience after that was frustrating. I had to return four different times because my air pressure light kept coming back on, even after resetting it. Each time, I was told the issue was with my pressure gauge and that it would adjust after some driving. After a few months, one of my brand-new tires went flat on the freeway. I returned to R T Tires expecting a fix or replacement under warranty, but I was told I had to purchase a completely new tire. Ironically, after getting the new tire, my air pressure light hasn't come back on at all. While the staff was polite, the overall experience left me disappointed. I'm hesitant to recommend R T Tires based on the lack of accountability and the inconvenience I experienced. read more

What I thought was low tire pressure one evening turned into a flat the next day. Had to get the donut put on and figure out finding a tire. Yelped around and ended up talking to RT tire. They asked questions I probably should have known the answer to but didn't and the person on the phone was super patient with me while i figured out the answers to his questions. *I should have checked their online BBB grade before coming here. I went to see what they had available for our Toyota Sienna. They happen to have (4) Yokohama Geolanders that were in great shape and had no plugs. About an hour wait. Employee pulls around and parks the car where on one side I can see the Yokohamas. What I did not see, till I got home, was that on the passenger front tire was not a Yokohama but a Hankook tire! It was already after hours when I noticed it and made sure I was the first one at the store the following morning. PAT who opened the store the next day was apologetic. Tried to find the 4th Yokohama but to no avail. He offered alternative tires to replace the Hankook, but still not a match, and actually in lesser shape than the Hankook. So I was basically SOL. I'm pretty shocked that a business like this would pull a bait and switch . There's just no way this should have happened. Even if I had checked prior to leaving, these were mounted without someone telling me what happened to the 4th tire. Very unethical way of doing business. On top of all this my air pressure sensors started acting up a day later. Live and learn. Will just visit Pick-N-Pull or save up and go the Costco or Walmart. read more

He found me 2 almost brand new tires, and I paid 1/3 of the price for new tires (2). I'll eventually get new ones, but this just helped me a lot and gave me some extra time to save up. We use RT tire any time we have flat or minor repair that needs made. I personal got a nail in one of my tires very recently. I don't drive that far or often to so this was a surprise to me. I got here first thing in the morning and they took my car right away. I only had to wait about 20 minutes and I was in and out. The price is extremely reasonable. My husband on the other hand drives everywhere, all over the Bay Area, all day every day. He has to come here almost every two or three months because of nails in his tires. The are open on Saturdays too. We have had to utilize them on the weekends too. This is a great service to have locally. read more

So I spent my morning calling around to many local tire shops to get a price. I spoke with four or five of them in less than 10 minutes. When I called this shop, the guy answered the phone said "thank you for calling......Can I put you on hold." I held for 12 minutes and 48 seconds until I was disconnected. Maybe they were understaffed? Maybe it was just a bad morning? Maybe they're a great shop? I wouldn't know because they never gave me the chance to deal with them. And in that amount of time I could've had 10 more estimates... But I guess I wasn't worth their time. Oh well. So I went elsewhere and was in and out in 20 minutes. I can't believe what I just experienced here. After spending tons of time researching and almost a year of waiting for the right time I was finally ready to put some 265/70/17 all terrain tires on my BMW X5. The staff at RT Tire refused to put the tires on my car, saying they wouldn't fit. I've done my research and all measurements to ensure the size will fit and no matter what proof I would provide the staff simply kept telling me they would not fit and they will not do it. I came here as a customer to buy a service but instead I was given wrong advice and opinions that I did not ask for. This place sucks, maybe they just no longer wanted to honor the deal they made me or maybe they just don't want to do the work. Who knows? All I know is that this place is trash and I won't be back. I bet if I showed up in a 4Runner, Jeep or Truck they wouldn't have had a second thought. It's simply because it's out of the ordinary that they decided to discriminate against me. read more
