I don't normally leave reviews for anything . However, the service lI received was unacceptable. I just wanted a basic maintenance check and I wasn't getting anything done. Just to check what was wrong with my car. I dropped it off at 11am and I went around the mall across the street to pass some time. It was 2:30 and I gave a call to Firestone and wanted to see if I could get an updated. A older man over the phone says they're half way done and to wait a bit longer. I understand they were busy so I brushed it off. It became 4:30 and at this point I was getting a bit frustrated. I went back to the store and spoke to Josh. I told him I dropped off my car at 11, called at 2:30 and said the store was half way done, and it is now 4:30 I would like an update. All I asked for was a maintenance check. Josh then said he would check on the guy who was working on it. I sat there waited for an hour and I did not get an update. At this point it was 5:30. I was upset and went up to a younger employee and told him the same thing. I was there at 11, 2:30 they said it was almost done, 4:30 Josh would go check and didn't come back, I'm ONLY having a maintenance check, getting nothing done and asked for an update. At that point I just wanted to leave. He said he is going to go check and came back in 2 minutes. And said along the lines of "honestly, we didn't start on your car. The only guy that does the diagnostics has been busy and he didn't get to it" and suggested to come back tomorrow since they were very busy. I'm glad that he gave me an honest update. I appreciate the honesty he gave me and he was the only one that showed me good customer service. compared to Josh and the other person on the phone who said they were half done. Yeah they were nice but there was no honesty. I wouldn't been upset if they just told me they couldn't get to it and to come back another day and earlier in the day. Yeah I wasted my whole day waiting for nothing and it was upsetting but I'm more upset that they were not communicating with me and have been honest about it. I get they get busy but the lying they were working on it and honest communication needs to be improved At this rate I don't feel like coming back to get my car checked there or at all. read more

I`ll save you time and take a moment to read if you need a car diagnostic on this place. `DO NOT` ever diagnose your car here even though they have mesmerizing discounts. You will just throw your money away and the stress they will give you for diagnosing it incorrectly!! It`s better to go to a REAL mechanic and add just a little bit of what you`re paying them. Anyways, My car coolant temperature dashboard went all the way HIGH and went in there due to their `discounted diagnostic`. Ofcourse! who doesn`t want a discount right? long story short they diagnose my car for a freaking HEADGASKET! Which is if you live under a rock that will cost a regular car of ($3,000-$5,000). Good thing I had a second opinion and the real mechanic tested everything and they said the only problem in my car was the radiator isn`t turning on properly when on idle or traffic. I have it fix for almost $900 and now my car is working properly without any problem!! What a scum place. I hope they will stop doing this to people and think that `EVERYONE IS RICH`!! I'm surprised by the negative reviews for Firestone, as I had a positive experience. I visited them for a warranty claim on my EV tires due to premature wear and tire chunking. The technician, James, was excellent! He immediately saw the issue and tried to file a claim, but the warranty department was closed on Saturday. He called me first thing Monday with the good news that Bridgestone approved a 50% discount on four new tires. When I returned the next week to have the tires installed, James wasn't there, but Omar at the front desk provided great service. The tire change took the entire estimated three hours, and I'm very happy with my new tires. Everyone I interacted with was professional and helpful. The prices here were competitive and on par with other tire shops. If you have to wait, there's a coffee shop in the supermarket across the lot, or you can relax in one of the chairs in their lobby. It's located in the same parking lot as the Sun Valley Mall so a walk through the mall may also be a good way to pass some time. read more

It's time to part ways with Firestone. I've been a loyal customer for years, but the new manager has completely changed my experience--for the worse. I've visited twice in the last few months, and both times were disappointing. 1. Unnecessary upselling. They tried to upsell me on parts that were brand new or had just been replaced. I later learned their "recommendations" are based solely on mileage rather than actual inspections. Not exactly confidence-inspiring. 2. Charged for an unnecessary alignment. I went in for an alignment and was given a printout--after being charged--that showed nothing was out of spec. When I questioned it, I was told, "Next time ask for an alignment check not an alignment." While waiting, I watched the manager sell $90 wiper blades to a customer and then laugh about it afterward. He also bragged to another employee about being a "high up-sale location," which tells you everything you need to know about the priorities here. They work on the one dropped off later before touching the one we are waiting for! They couldn't figure how to get approval. Would not recommend to anyone for oil changes. Unluckily, I recently caught a nail in my tire sidewall, which due to treadwear with the RR tire, necessitated buying two tires. But since my front tires are near the wear bars and the rain season is upon us, I decided I would buy all four. I have never seen this much complacency and nonchalance for a customer. I had an appointment at 10AM to replace four tires & get the alignment checked, so I waited patiently in the lounge for over four hours for someone to finally tell me they couldn't work on my car because it is lowered. To make matters worse, the only thing Nick could say to accommodate me for my time was to offer a free oil change, even though the car I brought for service was an EV. AN EV!! I was speechless and decided not to argue and walked out. What is the point of making an appointment if my car won't even be checked for FOUR hours? Even if you couldn't put my car on a lift, was no one capable to slide a jack underneath and pull off the wheels one at a time? The small tire repair shop near me was able to do this, why couldn't this large franchise shop? I decided to take my business to Firestone since they have a better selection of tires and can do the alignment which was due. I've been bringing my cars to Wheel Works-Firestone for over 30 years, including at least half a dozen sport compacts and even a couple crossovers that have been lowered, some by the shop themselves! Instead, Service Advisor '7 Keilen' insisted the tire couldn't be repaired and instead recommended 'replacement' of both rear tires with a price tag of $555.05! I called to make an appointment on an alignment on a lifted Jeep with 37" tires. They told me it could be done so I took it the next day to get the alignment done. Since I was dropping it off my wife also drove to take me home. Jason, who was at the desk went out and looked at the Jeep, came back in and said to the manager that it has 37" tires on it. The manager said something along the lines of I know, the service tech said he could do it. That service tech called off (they didn't call me to let me know that). They said they had another tech that could do it and they would call me when it was done. So I left and not more than 5 minutes later they called to tell me they couldn't do it. I drove back to the store, got my key back and said I wanted to speak to the manager. Jason said he texted him but didn't know where he was. I wanted to ask why, when they knew the tech called off, they didn't call their customers to cancel their appointment, and that I now had to pay 2 bridge tolls for driving there for no reason. The manager couldn't be found. I asked for a corporate number or someone's card who was above the manager and Jason said they didn't have this (likely a lie). When I was driving out I saw him in the shop, so he was there, just not willing to come talk to me (the customer). Cowardess at its best right here. Will not do business with again. Stay away. We went to Firestone to do tire rotation and preventative maintenance on our Subaru. After getting a call the car was ready we arrived an hour later to pick the car up. Wife went in to get keys and came out looking for car. The car was still in the garage with hood up. Wife asked one of the mechanics to help pull car out. The mechanic just yelled for someone over his loud hip hop music. No one showed up. We asked another younger mechanic to help and all he said was I am working on my own cars. Wife went back in to let someone know that the car was still in the garage. I waited for her in my car. She came out and then another mechanic showed up and gestured to give him the keys. My wife did not walk over to him and gestured to him to come get them. He walked over with a grumpy face and got the keys and pulled the car out. Not a thank you or thanks for coming in today or whatever. There is not integrity or respect at firestone anymore. They seemed overworked and do not enjoy their work. Very unhappy with their service, drove my car to Mexico, Arizona, and Tahoe, and decided to have the brake fluid changed as it's been 19 months. Got a call 3 hours later saying the master cylinder is blown and I have no braking and they will need an additional $750. They said it worked fine before they started but now not at all. I just wanted my car back to tow home and do myself, and they said they couldn't give my car back unless I paid the amount due for the bleed. The bleed that is useless now that my master cylinder is blown and my vehicle can't hold the fluid. On top of all this they tore my front bumper off when wheeling it on to the curb for my tow truck. It's 5:30am and we're driving from Santa Cruz to upper CA when our tire blows in the middle of the highway. We were able to get towed to the nearest Firestone at 6:00am. First off, kudos to opening at 7am! Considering how early it was we were searching and calling everywhere that could be open and we decided after unsuccessfully finding an open place to wait for them to open. Once 7am hit, they helped us immediately and we're able to get us back on the road after 1 hour! Their staff was super helpful and professional and we would recommend to anyone read more

Basically told me what they thought I wanted to hear to buy more time, none of which was true (I'm a mechanic but the warranty company form the car I bought authorized only Firestone for repairs, convenient). Not only did I get a Wheel Alignment but they make sure that my car is in working condition...Honda Dealership doesn't do with honesty. I have gone to this location for my Wheel Alignment. Here is a surprise...Firestone and Wheel Works are the same company. I never knew that until I got my Wheel Alignment done here. When I pass by this location I just thought it was a busy location but when I made an appointment I got my car back within 30-60 minutes. I am impress how fast service this place is. With the COVID-19 pandemic Firestone makes sure that the customer is taken care of. I seen Firestone clean their seats after the customer leaves. I am impress how far apart the seats are from each other. They are making sure for the customer safety. If you can not wait for your car to be service this would be the place to go to.
