I came here this morning because there was a basil in my tire and I purchased my tires from them. I knew that they would be covered to repair. I was told that I did not need an appointment. I spoke with a person less than 5 mins walking in. He checked out my vehicle and told me that it would be taken care of within 45 mins. I had 3 ppl on front of me. I would suggest you go very early when they open at 8 am if you do not have an appt. They took care of my tire. read more

I'm updating my previous 5-star review based on my most recent experience. I purchased four new tires for my truck, and what should have been a simple installation turned into eight trips back to the Concord store. During the original installation, two of my TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) sensors were damaged. On my second visit, they replaced the sensors, but they still didn't report tire pressure. On my third visit, I was told everything was working and that I just needed to drive the truck until the sensors synchronized with the vehicle. After driving all weekend with no change, I returned for a fourth visit, where the sensors were reset, but I was told there was nothing more they could do. On my fifth visit, I explained that I was ready to take my truck to Toyota to have the issue fixed and wanted to know if they would cover the cost. Instead, they asked me to give them one more chance. I came back the next day for my sixth visit, and after calling their technical support line, the technician finally discovered the real problem--they had installed the wrong TPMS sensors. Because they were too busy to fix it that day, I had to return yet again. On my seventh visit, after waiting over an hour before my truck was even taken into the shop, the correct sensors were finally installed and everything worked as it should have from the beginning. When I got home, I realized one of my hubcaps was missing. Fortunately, they had it, but that meant an eighth trip back to the store. The biggest disappointment wasn't that mistakes were made--mistakes happen. It was that no one in management took ownership of the problem. By the third visit, the store manager should have stepped in to ensure the issue was resolved instead of having me make repeated trips. To make matters worse, I overheard the manager referring to me as "the guy who keeps complaining about his tire sensors." After eight trips to correct problems that began during their installation, I don't think my frustration was unreasonable. The one employee who deserves recognition is Rene. He took the time to investigate the issue instead of making another guess, and he ultimately discovered that the wrong sensors had been installed. Thank you, Rene, for doing what should have been done much earlier. Unfortunately, this experience erased the confidence I had from my previous visit. I can no longer recommend the Concord store and will be taking my business elsewhere. I am giving 2 stars because of Rene without his help this was a zero start experience. read more

Needed new tires urgently. Was able to buy online and make appt for next day install. The online process was great and chat is available to assist which is nice. We arrived exactly on time for our appt and they had my car up on jacks within 10 min. They made quick work of changing all 4 tires- service was efficient but friendly. While waiting I overheard the employee on the desk take back to back calls from customers and he was so professional and patient and took each call with equal helpfulness despite it being about 30 min to closing. It's very, very hard for me to rate a chain location 5 stars, let alone a tire spot... But everything went right during a Friday visit on 12/26. Needed 2 tires, went online on 12/22, looked for what I needed, booked and paid, and set an appointment. Arrived at my appointment, Andrew checked us in, brought up my reservation, and setup in less than 5 minutes. No upsell, no add-ons, straight to the point. Did 2 front tires on my Mom's SUV, price was perfect, actually lowest in the area. They also match pricing. $25/tire to install which includes lifetime B/R. Went to Costco to shop a little, car was done in 45mins. Everyone was grinding. All techs. Manager. Service, POS... Man.... What a well oiled machine. AND they were BUSY- BUSY. No parking. Jammed lot. A semi either dropping off or picking up was taking half the lot. But they were making it work. Came back, phones were non-stop, people dropping off, all the floor people were working hard. Only thing? I wish they had backed my mom's car in to the spot... I had to Austin Powers out of there! When I ran over a screw and my tire was flat, I went to where I had purchased the tires, knowing that they'd help me for free. When they were busy and turned me away, I came to American's Tire to see how quickly they could help. Not only did they take care of me as quickly as is reasonable (90 min), but they didn't charge me a dime! A few years ago, I had my mom's car serviced as the hubcaps needed replacing since they were starting to fall off and ended up getting rims. They were great at the service, commented on the threads of the tires, and even gave me a good recommendation on when to buy new tires. It wasn't on their to-do list, but the mechanic also checked on the brake pads and said they still had a good lifespan left. Earlier this year, I returned because I had misplaced the socket to remove the lug nuts. The person in the front came out to check on the type of socket I needed, went back inside to grab it, and came back out to hand it to me before I could even get through the door! If I could give them 0 stars I would! Terrible customer service. We scheduled an appointment to have the tires swapped between our two vehicles. The tires are the exact same size so no issue there. We had explained what we wanted to do before we scheduled, and they said it would be no problem gave us the quote and scheduled the appointment. We show for the appointment my husband arrived first and was a little early he got us checked in and everything until I showed up. I show up they are doing the inspection etc. then the guy says I'm not sure we can do this. So after being there for 15 mins they then decide to ask about doing the swap. They come back and say we don't have enough jacks to do the swap between the two vehicles. Huh! You know we are coming and you don't have enough? I can see three jacks being unused in the shop while my husband is talking with the guy. They then proceed to tell us Walnut Creek will do it. We call Walnut Creek and they said it would take too much time so they won't do it. Stay away from America's tire terrible service after agreeing to do the job as it is an inconvenience for them as you only need two jacks to do it. Yes it takes more time to it with two jacks but it is possible to do. Oh and they damaged a vehicle while we were waiting put a big scratch on a fender. My tire pressure monitor was telling me I had low pressure in one of my tires. I purchased my tires at a Discount Tires, which is what America's Tire is called outside of CA. So I found this location with my GPS and got here right away. The service guy took care of me fast. Lucky these wasn't much of a line and they took my car in within 15 minutes. I told them I was not from the Bay Area and was traveling for work, so they took care of my tire. It turns out there was a little screw stuck in the tread that was causing me to lose air. So, they fixed it all FREE cause I purchased my tires thru the tire chain This is why I went with America's (Discount) Tires in the first place, I want service where ever I happen to be and they have a lot of locations all over. I went here a few days ago. I had a nail or a screw in my tire. Luckily, they were able to patch the tire with no problems. It's definitely worth getting the warranty. They either patched the tire up. That or they replace the tire altogether. It only cost you.... based on the tire tread you have left. The newer the tire, the less the cost of replacement. When you do a lot of driving, it's a godsend. This is one of the busier locations. You're better off, making an appointment through their app. Otherwise, I expect to wait for a while. I can't say enough about how grateful I am to have happened to run across America's Tire in Concord! I spent this past weekend trying to get a tire patched as it just so happy I ran over a nail. I tried two different places and was met with nothing but disappointment. American Tire patched it at no cost. I didn't even buy the tires here (came with the car). However, my next tire purchase will be here for sure! america's tire on line purchase system is terrible. it rejects purchase but does not explain why. it has some code words "invalid response code" then their 888 number can't help, and the local store is too busy to pick up. i just want to buy some tires, instead their ai system forces me to spend 45 minutes in order that they can lay off more employees. big o tires is better. read more

Overall, America's Tire is an amazingly run place. The guy who helped me, Jacob, had a really professional demeanor. The waiting room chairs were surprisingly very comfortable. The whole place is sharp and clean, but I had to dock one star because the restroom toilet was very disgusting, probably hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Superbly run places like this increases customer expectations, and so the restroom must match the standards of the rest of the business. I was still very pleased with how quickly my tires were serviced while I waited probably only 20 minutes or so. Make the toilets as clean as a hospital's (it was worse than most gas stations) and this place would get a 10-star review from me. read more

This the ONLY place I would buy tires from or do any work to my car's tires! I had the unfortunate event of a slow puncture a nail had lodged in the middle of my tire had to get it removed. I drove around the entire neighborhood to look for someone interested to help me and not a single carshop, tireshop, gas station wanted to help me! Unbelievable. I found another tire shop who wanted to charge me $40.00 to plug a tire which I thought was fine but the wait was 2 hours yikes! I bought a set of 4 tires for my second car from America's Tire last year so I decided to drive my car there to see what the wait times are like. I arrived was greeted by a friendly staff. He checked my tires for wear and mileage and brought me inside to show me a chart that show life span of typical tire and advice me when I should expect to replace them and offered to check pricing. I had cracks on my fronts which will need replacing soon. He then proceeded to tell me the removal of the nail on my tire was free of charge! and it will take about 15 minutes! What universe is America's Tire living on??? I couldn't believe my luck this day. While I was happy to know its free of charge I'm a firm believer nothing on this earth should be free so I asked why? The gentlemen told me its a way to get customers to come back with the hope they will buy tires from them in the future. I watched my car through the glass window get its tire removed by their mechanic to get the nail out. Instead of doing a quick job of pulling the nail out and plugging the tire they removed the tire from the rim, plugged it properly, cleaned the tire, snap the tire back on, balance the wheel. That's a lot of work! This is the most heart felt experience I ever had in the last 20 years from any car or tire shop. I'm so used to getting robbed from $3000 catalytic converter to $50 license plate covers from dealerships. I told the gentlemen well I can't leave without paying at least let me tip the mechanic which was was ok and I was happy to tip the guy on a job well done with a $20.00 cash. My front tires are due on on car so I am going to make the effort to come back to this America's Tire shop to replace it even though I am not from this area. I will definitely will be back! I came in recently to get a TPMS light checked and had a disappointing experience. I was told everything is normal after they checked air pressures and the sensors (although they did find a nail in one of my tires that didn't leak air) and directed to go back to whoever replaced my TPMS sensors. I went down the road to get my car checked out, and the person there said my tire pressures were slightly low, triggering the light to turn on since it was under 33. I got a nail in my tire and needed to get my tire repaired. I did also noticed balding of my back tires so I knew I would need new tires. The staff member agreed and helped me pick out two tires to replace my back tires. He was incredibly honest on which ones I should pick where I get the most out of my money spent and it also wasn't the most expensive tires on the website! So nice not to be "sold" to. It was so easy to make an appointment online and my car was ready the same day. They never put air in the tire identified by the tech nor another low tire. Now why not? This was a Friday I had to go back Monday because the light on my dash would not go out. Was it my light or were my tires still low? So I go back...2 tires are low...Now why rotate my tires... not check to be sure they have proper air... Today is Christmas Eve Eve. At 4:48 I noticed a screw in my tire. I called American tires. Miles answered the phone on the first ring. He said they were closing in fifteen minutes. I asked what time they open tomorrow. He said they were closed until after Christmas. I said I was across the street at Costco; I could be there in two minutes. Miles said if I made it there in two minutes he would personally fix my tire. I arrived and learned my tire was not repairable. Miles sold me a new tire which matched the others. My car was ready and rolling out of the garage at 5:03. Miles totally rocked the tire change!! The customer service was top notch. It sure stinks to catch a nail this time of year but American Tires Co was a true blessing! read more
