Few weeks ago, I went out for dinner in Concord area with my friends from Pleasanton. As we were arriving at the restaurant, someone noticed a puddle of water under my car. Called this morning and spoke to Steve regarding a leak that I just discovered last night. I was really worried about and with the holidays and the rush, concerned with finding someone who'd be able to look/fix it. I called and Steve said to bring it by and he can take a look. I got there and without hesitation he put my car up on the rack for a closer look and it turns out the gasket wasn't the right one that the last place I took my car to for an oil change 2 months ago. Steve showed me where the leak was coming from and the cover was just soaked from the oil leak. He asked me if I wanted to take it back to whoever did the last oil change and have them take care of it. And I said I won't be going back to Big O (Walnut Creek) and I asked him if he can please take care of it. And he did, luckily it was just the gasket issue and he did an oil change for me, topped off my fluids (washer etc) and checked/put air in my tires. Wow!! I was in and out of there in 40 minutes. He was so kind to squeeze me in to take a look at my car and take care of it. Who does this? And given that tomorrow is the last working day before Christmas too. I appreciate what he did for me today and was so reasonable. I will definitely be going back to get my services done here. It's so convenient and close to home too. My former mechanic is 35 miles away and have been going to see him for my car's needed services and issues for 13 years. I'm so happy to have found Steve (such a nice guy too) and that I was able to take care of this problem today (again can't stress enough that especially being the holidays, no one really has time). It started as a slow leak and leaked more and more, definitively would've gotten worse and the damage much worse. While I was waiting for my car, a woman came by with Christmas cupcakes and she gave them to Steve! How sweet is that. Thank you so much Steve for helping me today. I went in here today after have made an appointment earlier in the week. The owner, Steven, is a very nice and honest man. Tells you what you need, no bs, does what is needed, and prices fairly. Today he didn't charge me because it is an issue that is from a part installed from another auto body shop. But he confirmed for me that the issue was with an incorrect part (front air box missing just a single air inlet for a tiny hose) so I need to call that shop next week to let them know. Steven cleared my check engine light as it isn't a major issue which is now a work in progress for me. And he is a kind man having thrown some quality service my way at no charge by cleaning my mass airflow sensor and the areas around it to just be sure the sensor being dirty wasn't the issue and I could focus more on the missing inlet for the air hose being the related part to it all. I came here on a recommendation from a friend who has been going here for years. I will be back when my car needs more in the future :) I recommend them for value, fairness, honesty, good will, good gestures. read more

A rare mechanic who doesn't try to sell you services you don't need. No BS, straight to the point of what you need. I went in to get my brakes done and came out with only my brakes done. I'm no professional mechanic, but I know when a shop is trying to sell me on services I don't need. The service is really quick as well and took less time than I anticipated for such a busy shop. Again, it really just depends on the service for your car and his shop is very busy so have some patience, it will benefit you greatly. It's rare to to see such a busy shop not cut corners and still do work in a proper amount of time. The quality of work is also very good and he is an honest mechanic. I've brought numerous family and friends' cars to the shop and the service provided has always been great and nothing less than that. Price is very fair and was in the ball park of the expected amount, give or take a few dollars. You can trust this shop that they won't rip you off which sadly is rare these days.
