I'll keep taking my cars to KIN for annual maintenance and any repairs needed. So far just oil and filter changes but they also do a routine check on the entire vehicle. Excellent service! read more

I used to bring my 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT Trailboss to this place for transmission/diff fluid change. I did not ask for oil change because I just changed them out myself, but while they are doing the job, they checked up on oil and told me I probably need the oil change. I used Mobil 1 synthetic for truck/suv which is a bit darker when new so maybe that's why they thought I needed oil change. I refused the oil change as I literally just did it a day ago. They performed the job I requested without the oil change and all was good. But after that I needed coolant and brake fluid flushed. Called them multiple time over multiple days to schedule an appointment but they never picked up. I don't know if my refusal of oil change rubbed them the wrong way, but because they never picked up I just found another mechanic. read more

Really nice experience taking my car there. I just wanted to get an oil change and see if anything else needed to be fixed because it had been a little while. I like that they gave me a print out of items that they checked and if anything needed to be done right away. Very nice customer service and great value for the work read more

I have a 15 year old SUV and the clock spring in my steering wheel broke. The dealership said it would cost $2,000 to replace. I took it over to Keep It New hoping for a less expensive repair. After checking on the necessary parts, Rima did an additional check to see if there was an extended warranty or recall. As it turns out, there was a 15 year extended warranty by the manufacturer. Rima printed out the applicable warranty notice and I took it over to the dealership. They agreed to make the repair with free parts and labor. Ann, Ace and the whole crew have always done right by us. I would recommend them anytime. Integrity. read more

I've written a review about two years ago but I feel it needs to be said again. If you have a car issue bring it to Keep It New. They have been servicing my Toyota, Ram ,Honda & Ford over the years. Nothing but outstanding service. You can trust them. So many times in the past I was taken advantage of by the mechanic telling me things were wrong that were not. Then I started going to Keep It New because I heard in the community they were reputable. Our community was right! They are not only the best and honest mechanics they are amazing human beings. Ace and Ann the owners are hard working business owners who care about their customers and they take pride in their work. Give them a call. They book up fast. read more

Well, it was my turn to get my car serviced yesterday after my wife had her car serviced last week Tuesday. I share all the same comments from her experience. The thing I like the best is the comprehensive review you get of all the good areas of your car, what needs to be followed and the red areas that should be taken very seriously and dealt with. Service was fast and staff was very professional. Good value for what is done. read more

I've had great service and what I consider to be decent service prices here in the past. Unfortunately, this morning when I called in and spoke to Shane, I asked for a full repair of the timing belt replacement job--all related included. He quoted between $2000-$3000! I called Winter Honda in Pittsburg and got a quote for $1850, plus tax. So, why wouldn't I go there compared to this place? Research tells me an independent auto repair shop should only charge $1000-$1500 for this job. A mobile guy quoted $800 for labor, plus parts, which would put me in the proper range. I had told Shane I needed to take a 600 mile road trip this week and I think he took advantage of that. So beware of such tactics. It pays to shop around. Sadly, I'm disappointed this time with them. read more

I'm returning to KIN Auto Service in Brentwood for regular service on my Ioniq. Just like the last time, they're professional, knowledgable, and friendly. I'm happy with their service and I find them honest and the pricing fair. I've been a customer for a year now, and whether I'm dropping off my car or waiting for it, communication is prompt. I am confident I've found a knowledgeable automotive service shop close to my home. While the services I've needed so far have been regular maintenance, their service is a big part of what's keeping my car in good condition. I recommend them. When they discuss the findings of their diagnostic report, they don't try to upsell me and they let me know the items that need to be done now, at the next regular service, or sometime in the future (i.e., something optional that might be helpful). To be honest, when I inquired about if I needed the service they offer for reglazing old windshields Ann told me that my car doesn't need that and I needn't spend my money on it now. I appreciate the honesty and candor. I recommend Keep It New Auto Service--I can trust them. read more

Keep It New is great. I've been taking my car here since I moved to Brentwood in 2021 and I've always had exceptional service and great results. Initially, I found this place through google and yelp while trying to find a good spot with decent reviews. The reviews truly reflect the quality of service of here! I've taken my car in for a number of things ranging from oil changes, tire rotations, brake adjustments/repair, and other miscellaneous repairs, and the cost is always very reasonable. They do it pretty quickly too! And to top it off, they are thorough. I love that they provide a post-visit report with pictures and summaries of upcoming issues and service you may need along with estimates of what it might cost. It makes it easy to plan for future repairs. Definitely recommend! Wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I have taken my car here for repairs as well as routine maintenance. Great honest work done for a fair price. As far as I'm concerned, Keep It New is the best around!

Again, I received outstanding service from Keep It New Auto Service! I had taken my car to the dealership for a recall item and had asked them to check my oil level. I got my car back with no mention of the oil level. I went over the paperwork and saw they had said, 'Oil check requested. Not checked because dipstick missing or broken!' I was very disappointed that they did not tell me about this or make an effort to repair/replace. I went to Keep It New Auto Service and they immediately determined that the piece on the top of the dipstick was missing, so it could not be pulled out to check, but that the seal was good and it was safe to drive the car. They ordered a new dipstick for me and will replace it when I return the car. There was no charge for the service today! This is an excellent company to do business with! They really go out of their way to help you right when you need it, and they know their business and what they are doing. I cannot imagine going anywhere else for any kind of auto service. They are honest, provide excellent quality service and really exhibit care for their customers. read more

I recently drove my Nissan Versa Note from Brentwood to Los Angeles for an event & back and upon touching down in Brentwood it started having issues. Apparently during the drive back on the I-5 my cars heat exhaust cover got too hot and cracked a bit which was causing it to flap and was making a super loud rattling noise that was so embarrassing. I drove my car around like that for two days until I couldn't take it anymore, the stares coming from people were unbearable. I searched on Google for local auto body shops that specialized in Nissans and heat exhaust issues and came across Keep it New Auto Service. After filtering out through hundreds of reviews I decided to drop in to see if they could help me (no call ahead or nothing). Upon arrival I asked one of the mechanics at the shop if they had availability to check out my cars issue as it would be required to be lifted to inspect it and he asked me to check in with the front office folks which happened to be the lovely owners Ann & Ace. They had their mechanic squeeze me in and check out the issue in a prompt manner while I got added to their computer system in the office. 20 minutes later the mechanic mentioned that he had fixed the issue and that the car was no longer making a rattling noise. He had patched up my exhaust cover with epoxy glue and had added additional screws so it would stay in place. Then I asked the owners how much I owed them for the repair and was floored when they told me "nothing it's on the house". After insisting to at least let me tip the mechanic, they told me that there was no need for that because this is how they like to treat people bc it's the right thing to do. I was so moved by this gesture and expressed that to them. In a world where everyone's trying to make a quick buck from you or rip you off I can't tell you how incredibly refreshing it is to find genuine and kind people like the folks from Keep it New. I will certainly be bringing my car here from now on and will recommend them to everyone who needs their car repaired here in the area. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much for touching my heart with your generosity and thoughtfulness. May god bless you and your business read more

SHOUT OUT FOR KEEP IT NEW AUTO REPAIR I left my car for what I thought was going to be $3,200 in repairs, which were recommended by the dealer. However, after a complete inspection, including photographs, I was told that much of it was not necessary. I drove out after paying only $700. If you need a qualified and honest mechanic, who charges reasonable rates, you will not find a better one in anywhere. read more

Edgar responded to my inquiry about tire rotation on Yelp. Response was fast and was flexible as i could not make his first appointment but he was able to set me up for the next window. Communication was excellent he gave me a quote which was $50 more than the shop that also responded but I had to remind myself that he was mobile and honestly after reading the past reviews it was a no brainer. Edgar texted me when he was 40 minutes away and showed up on time (SUPER BONUS). I had a issue with my after market Tesla hubcaps as i was trying to remove them and cracked one. I was actually ready to say forget and just tear them off and buy another pair but he took the time and removed them with a tool he had on the truck (I REALLY APPRECIATED THAT) . He proceeded to rotate my tires and we had a nice conversation. He educated me on the difference in tires for Teslas which i had no idea about. Long story short Edgar is a good dude with a awesome business concept. I will continue to support and recommend to anyone who asks me about Tire Service. read more

Before I left Union City I did a major tune up on my Mitsubishi Outlander dealer, I never had problem with them. Then I moved to BRENTWOOD hoping to find a good car dealer shop to fix the problem in case i need too. Then I was checking the website on BRENTWOOD then I saw this dealer KEEP IT NEW Auto Service, my 1st service was to change my oil. Then they detect that there is couple of problem in my car that need to be fix. Then I told them how can that be, when my dealer on Union City did everything that I need to fix. So they have couple that is listed that I need to pay attention. So after couple of month's pass by my AC start having problem. Then later on, seem's I start having different problem on my car. So I start looking for another shop, then I found this AUTO DIAGNOSTIC REPAIR Inc. in BRENTWOOD that is connected to TRIPLE AAA & they gave u a discount as a member, Their Ph# is 925 684-7600 since then I'm going with them never had problem since then. I do not recommend this place after the experience I went through,.. awful! Last year, I took my car to this shop, that was my first car I purchased on my own a Infiniti G37s coupe and for it to go into a shop thinking all the previous reviews are good "let me take my car there too" and for it to come out the way it did, (grease on my upper interior, tools left under the hood, the dash and console ruined, let alone the airbag sensor and check engine light on and still no AC.) it was a nightmare I had no choice but to get another car since my Infiniti isn't fit to be driven due to whatever they did to make my airbag light come on and yes I did report it to my Ins, but when my ins called they said my car was old and falling apart, yes, it had a lot of miles cuz it was my commuter but not falling apart otherwise I would've asked for more to be fix then jst the AC; I took very good care of my car until I brought it into your shop and I've only got to rant about it now, why?! cuz I've been working two jobs cuz I have a car payment I have to deal with no thanks to this place! read more

So my suspension needed to be checked out. I went on yelp and chose "Keep It New Auto Service" because of all the 5-star reviews. Well let me tell you... I have NEVER experienced such thoroughness and raw honesty in an auto repair company before! Not only do they inspect your car, they have a website that all the information is uploaded to, pictures of all your parts, under the hood, carriage, etc. They document what they fix, what needs to be fixed and advise you of any "red or yellow" additional repairs needed in the near future with estimates. The receptionist who greeted and checked me in was very nice and professional, the waiting room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and updated. Even the service technician, Rodger, came out and explained everything he reviewed, and delivered such personable service! This company is absolutely AMAZING and will be the only company that I will go to. read more

I went to "Keep it new" for the first time. The experience was just SUPER ! Both the people - the person who explained to me everything patiently and the mechanic who did the actual work - were very professional, kind and thorough. The person in the office explained to me clearly- what the inspection findings are after the oil change, what the good things are with the car, what things may need attention and how soon was very nice and valuable ! I highly recommend this place. It feels authentic and caring. read more

I couldn't say enough positive words about this shop. I took my suv to the dealership for my oil change since I have a service maintenance package. Service dept told me I needed $4,200 worth of repairs and services. I went with my gut and called OUR favorite place and they checked out our suv. Smh all those repairs were false and it was only one little part. Let's just say Ann spoke to this dealerships service manager and in polite words I am not being billed for none of the $4,200 quoted due to their manager looked at our suv off Ann's teams pictures and reporting to see his techs and service advisors were incorrect on their findings. I will never trust another shop for any of our families vehicles. read more

Keep It New Auto Service - This is how amazing and detailed they're with their customers. - Auto Repair Near Me - Brentwood, California

I chose this shop based on the positive yelp reviews and they have just earned another 5 star review. I have a commuter car ( 2010 corolla.) I had a general idea of what I needed to have done and took my car there for an official multi point inspection. I called and spoke to Anne and she was genuinely friendly and efficient while booking my appointment. I arrived the following day at my appointment and was greeted by Kathy, one of the service advisors. From our initial point of contact she was also genuinely friendly and completely focused on getting my car checked in and at explaining what type of overall inspection the technicians were going to do. It was also clearly communicated to me that due to a high volume of vehicles my car wouldn't be ready the same day and I certainly appreciate my expectations being set for the vehicle to remain overnight. I received an email within a few hours of leaving my car with a detailed report with 4 categories ( see photos.) The report also comes with actual photos of the items needing attention and or repair. Kathy then called me and reviewed each item line by line. I was impressed. I was also pleasantly surprised to see on my report that there were no expensive repairs flagged as needing immediate attention and the quoted amount was definitely in line with what I was anticipating. I would highly recommend this auto repair shop and will tell you that all of the front office staff are equally knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you Keep it New Auto Service for taking care of me and my car. This is indeed and honest shop!` read more

This place is amazing! I love their reminder text messages and that they answer their phone. This is a small owned business- not a large corporation. I, myself, i'm not that knowledgeable with cars and issues with cars. I love that they take photos of everything they talk about! For example how many times have you heard that you need an air filter change recommendation, because it's dirty.. I was like, "well how dirty? Just dusty?" They said "no really dirty" and they showed me a picture and oh my goodness i'm glad I finally said yes this time! Also, I needed to go home and not wait for my car service, because I had a job to do, they nicely drove me home, so I was able to use a spare car we had on hand. They even write notes for what will be needed in the next service appointment just to prepare mentally and financially. I definitely trust the service company 100%. read more
