I did not ask for oil change because I just changed them out myself, but while they are doing the job, they checked up on oil and told me I probably need the oil change. I used Mobil 1 synthetic for truck/suv which is a bit darker when new so maybe that's why they thought I needed oil change. I refused the oil change as I literally just did it a day ago. They performed the job I requested without the oil change and all was good. But after that I needed coolant and brake fluid flushed. Called them multiple time over multiple days to schedule an appointment but they never picked up. I don't know if my refusal of oil change rubbed them the wrong way, but because they never picked up I just found another mechanic.

Reliable Automotive performed the previous oil change on my Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Duramax. When I subsequently took my truck to my regular mechanic for another oil change, they were unable to remove the oil pan drain plug. The drain plug was extremely tight and could not be removed. Now I have to pay approximately $200 to have them extract it before I can complete a routine oil change. Since Reliable Automotive performed the previous oil change, I am concerned that the drain plug was overtightened or improperly installed during that service. A drain plug should be tightened to the manufacturer's specifications, not to the point that it cannot be removed during routine maintenance. What should have been a straightforward oil change has turned into an unnecessary headache, additional expense, and wasted time. I paid for professional service and expected better. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Reliable Automotive.
